These people are SHIESTY. My car caught fire on a Monday I show up 2 days later to get out to avoid storage fee's. They purposely park it across the street where it clears says "no parking at any time" then proceed to inform me that the car will be impounded if not towed. I have been a AAA member for 15 years so I decided to use them for free tow. The people at Freeway towing canceled both Tow requests, & called Lions Towing & had them do the same. I had a client stuck on a sandy dirt road up some mountain in Santa Clarita and we needed to get her vehicle free from the sand. Freeway Towing was the only towing service with a 4-wheel drive vehicle after I called more than half a dozen others to find someone who could help. They sent someone up to her as fast as they could. However, a ranger or other helpful stranger with a 4-wheel drive vehicle ended up freeing her from the sand before the Freeway Towing driver could arrive. My client was responsible and waited for the driver because cell service was too poor to reach him by phone. When the tow truck driver did arrive, at first he insisted that our client had to pay in full ($600) despite not having helped her out of the sand himself. After all, he had driven a long way up a tricky road to find her via a GPS Lat/Long coordinate which we could barely trace off of her phone. It was a considerable investment of time (and perhaps gas) to do that. However, later I called the office to see if they could cut her a break since she didn't end up officially using their services and $600 would be a steep price for a late-cancel. Fortunately, after several phone calls with friendly & helpful staff, and a couple weeks of waiting, William was kind enough to refund our client for 50% of the charge. Everyone was happy. I would recommend them for their friendly, attentive customer service reps on the phone, for their speedy response to a service call and for ultimately being amenable to refunding our client for a portion of the unused service. Seems like a fair, reasonable company interested in retaining customers and a good reputation. read more

DO NOT USE THIS TOW COMPANY - they charged my Insurance company over $3000 for towing and storage. $550 towing + $135 forklift + $175 p/day storage + $475 clean up + $175 to bring my car out...what???? they charge for items that the local CHP tow companies do not charge which is a violation of the towing laws. read more

They not only charge THOUSANDS of dollars to tow your car from an accident, but also charge extra THOUSANDS in fake hazmat fees. They take your car and drain all the fluids without your permission, then charge you THOUSANDS of dollars for doing it! Once they have your car, they will not allow another towing company that you trust to pick up your car. RIP OFF TOWING COMPANY! I have turned them in to every department and agency I can find. Had my vehicle towed on Saturday to there yard early morning around 2am. And I didn't want it to go there, I wanted it towed to my house. I called on Saturday 12pm same day and they told me that they have special hours to pick up the vehicles or they'll charge me extra. So they told me come back the next day and they were closed. I went Monday morning to pick it up and take it to my house. they charged me for 3 days even though it wasn't fully 3 24hrs. I had work all week and on Friday I started to clean it out and when taking out all my belongings to let the insurance take it I was missing $60 cologne and a $20 bill. read more

Satisfactory outcome with slightly below-average customer service. I like that Jerry's Towing is a 24-Hour company, and the woman who answered the phone was competent and professional. She was able to tell me exactly when to expect the tow truck. However, when he arrived, the tow truck driver I got that day was hard to communicate with. This was not a language barrier--he was a native English speaker--he just didn't know how to articulate what he was trying to say, which was frustrating. He was rude in that teenagery bad-attitude kind of way, though he was probably at least in his mid-20s. That being said, he got my car to the mechanic in one piece. Maybe that's all we can expect these days. I paid about $80 to move my car about 5 miles. read more

My car got towed, which was my fault so that part is irrelevant.. Once I got there I was charged extra for being there after 5pm which it took me til 4:30pm to find out from the sheriff where it was. The guys out in the yard were super negative and took forever to get the car out. They told me they didn't care that I had been waiting 30 min in the sun for them. The lady in the office was okay but not very helpful. It also smelled so awful in their crammed little office which I also wasn't allowed to wait in because it's literally so small they only can fit 2 people in there. i dont ever do stuff like this, but i just want to thank there driver anthony and there dispatcher.. you guys were fast and super helpful at 2am ..our boat trailer broke down! like axel broke, wheel falling off broke down we got it on long enough to pull it on their truck and to get it off, anthony took his time made sure it was secure treated it like his own and he literally drove 10 to 15 mph for almost 4 miles to get it home. he i will recommend them to everyone,.and they are now a contact in my phone..they have a few locations so try them first.. the will be my first call from now on.. thanks again read more

On northbound Freeway 5 about four miles south of Castiac when I suspected I blew the transmission in my Ford F350. I was towing a very full 6x12 U-Haul. Thank the Heavens for AAA. They dispatched a special flatbed truck to attend my situation. The driver, Anthony (Great Guy!) had to disconnect the trailer from my truck, load my truck onto his, connect the trailer to his truck and tow this whole mess into the small town of Newhall near Castiac. Not only was Anthony a wonderful guy for his professionalism and safety, but VERY patient dealing with stupid drivers who have no grasp how hard it is to control a tow rig with a combined weight of nearly 30,000 pounds. I couldn't believe how many people tried to pass him on the right (using the safety lane) and/or cut him off. But he just accepted it as a matter of course and kept smiling and talking kindly with me. He dropped my rig off at Lyon's Auto Center in Newhall (Another wonderful review for them on Yelp). There Anthony even helped spot me while I backed my truck to reconnect the trailer to my truck. The shop had just closed and I had to lock the trailer to my truck for an overnight stay. I can't say enough how polite and kind was Anthony to my Mom, my wife and me during this most unpleasant adventure. The only negative (This review would have been only 4 stars if not for Anthony) was the ridiculous charge for towing the trailer. I accept that there would be a charge for trailer tow as only my pickup was covered by AAA, BUT... $250 to tow that trailer about four miles. WOW! where did Freeway Towing come up with that number? We were going that direction anyway and it took Anthony less than five minutes to hitch it up. But it is still less expensive than leaving the loaded trailer by the road and getting it stolen. Still a gouging. I hope I never need their, or any other, tow service again. But If I do, or you do, I highly recommend Freeway Towing. They got the job done professionally and safely! read more

One star because i have to give a star for review. One of the most unethical companies I had the pleasure of doing business with. They charge $512 an hour for towing my semi and trailer 12 miles! When i confronted the business that other companies in the area are charging from $125-$250 an hour (you can look it up on google) he said i was pulling numbers out of my a**. I want to first acknowledge that my vehicle was here to nobody else's fault but my own, but damn. I had a terrible experience here, wasn't bad enough I had to wait over the weekend to recover my truck but when I got here they wouldn't work with me one bit. I was told a set price the impound fees where $39 a day so like most of us out there I can do simple math so I times $40 times 6 comes out the $240 so I allow for maybe another $150-$200 for unseen fees that I'm sure they'll try and tack on. I get there and they tell me it's $533 so that comes out to$88-$89 a day. I had only $500 on me so I wasn't able to get it out so now it has to stay another day so there's another day of fees. Come to find out they put a tow fee in there which my truck wasn't towed it was driven in by officer so I could've got my vehicle out that day because I had the money it would've been less then 500 bit noooooo now I have to pay for more storage time because they tried to screw me over. $875.00 FOR A SIX MILE TOW!! If there were a way to give a negative 5 stars I would do it. Fortunately for them, a person doesn't typically start looking at Yelp reviews to find a tow service. They take advantage of the fact that you are in a bind. After receiving a quote to tow our van by them and being told it would be at least 90 minutes because it was rush hour, we called another service which was going to charge us more than the $580.00 they quoted to go 13 miles down highway 14. Knowing that this was a commercial vehicle we decided to accept the fact that we were not going to get away with a cheap tow of any sort. With that in mind we kept trying to call back and get requoted to no avail but were assured that they would. Our first call went in at 4:40pm. We were told it might be 90 minutes The tow truck showed up 8:40 pm. We decided to have the all-electric van towed 6 miles to a charger. It took the driver over 40 minutes to get the van on the truck. I had done this just a week before and that driver had the van on the flatbed in about 5 minutes. Then it took an hour to go the six miles since he would not go any faster than 29 miles per hour even on the freeway and on Sierra Highway which is mostly a 50 to 55 mph road. He seemed to be milking the time as much as he could. When he took the van off the truck it took him another half hour to do that. Then he charged us 2.5 hours for his time since they charge for their truck to return to their shop. The bill came to $875.00 for a 6 mile tow!! We tried to get a hold of the manager for the next week to no avail. read more
