    Fireball Super Juice

We came to Frends Brewhouse for a fundraising event for the HS and had a good experience. Monday is half off pizza night, which was a big plus. I was surprised to see they had Indian flavored pizzas so I definitely wanted to try one of those. I ordered the Tandoori Chicken pizza and it took a little time to come out, but it was worth the wait because the pizza was hot, fresh, and tasty. There were a lot of veggies on the pizza and some chicken, but not a lot. I would have added a lot more chicken. I also tried a fireball super juice at the bar, which was refreshing and not strong. The super juice just happened to also be on special for $6 because there was a football game on. The large pizza was normally $30, but half off for $15 on Mondays. The staff provided good customer service. The server's name was Greg (saw it on the check) and he provided good service. The bartender was great as well. The atmosphere was loud, fun, and busy as it was football night and a school event. They offer regular happy hour and drink specials throughout the month and during football games and Kings games. Good food, drinks, service, and atmosphere.

We noticed upon arrival that it was pretty busy inside. We were greeted promptly and seated fairly quickly. Looking around there were family gatherings, couples on dates, and friends enjoying each other's company. I later discovered through comments this used to be a Pete's & the food was similar in terms of the menu. The garlic fries were good. We ordered a typical Burger, it was like any normal burger nothing fancy. Didn't mess it up so that was good considering the reviews. The chicken Parmesan was actually super good with the dual sauces. Loved that touch. Our server was really nice and checked in on us regularly. All in all a good experience.

I selected Frends Brewhouse for our work lunch today so this review is based solely on our togo order. Most people will recognize Frends Brewhouse as the former Pete's. My coworker's and I can testify the food quality is still just as good as Pete's was. Everyone was happy with their entrees. I personally had their delicious white sauce red sauce lasagne and also tried a garlic knot which was scrumptious. Frends Brewhouse is a great option in the Natomas area.

I ordered the pizza on Monday. They have a great deal on Mondays half off any medium or large pizza. I've ordered this many times always really good. This time, the pizza was so flat I asked for just extra cheese and extra sauce. I think I got extra cheese but very little sauce. I don't know what happened to their dough, but it used to be real thick on the sides, this is like flat, thin bread, very disappointed.

We love a good happy hour! We walked in on a Wednesday to a nearly empty restaurant. This location is where the Pete's was and the menu is nearly the same. We lucked out and it was happy hour. Great happy hour prices and selection! The stuffed knots..... delicious!!!!! The pizza has a solid amount of toppings! The fries are delicious and crunchy! The loaded fries could use some work. All our food was fresh and really good overall. Service was also good and prices are fair. Definitely worth a try!

    Chicken Gorgonzola Bow tie

Decided to try out the restaurant after playing some golf. We were seated right away. The restaurant was busy not super crowded. There were some folks seated in the bar enjoying some playoff games and a few families celebrating birthdays. The atmosphere was laid back and casual. The server was nice and attentive. We started with the Mac and cheese bites and a house IPA. For an entree we shared the chicken Gorgonzola bow tie pasta that had a wonderful sauce that had bacon, chicken and was super flavorful. Served with a piece of garlic bread that was so good! We wanted to try dessert and ended with the butter toffee cake and icecream. It was served warm, the cake had a little bit of a crispy buttery crust that was very tasty. My only regret is that we didn't order two instead of sharing.

The location is great. It's centralized in the Natomas Park area and has a large parking lot. There are other restaurants and other businesses nearby. This originally was known as Pete's for almost two decades. Now it's known as "Frends" (no I'm not missing an 'I' there) but still with the same menu and staff. Just rebranded. The food is really good. They were known for their pizza and it still is really good. It has that beer-dough flavor with a nice and thick crust. The toppings are fresh and very delicious. The salad was crunchy and full of flavor. Their ranch was also very good. The service is okay. If you come during their peak hours, the service might be on the slower side. Our server didn't really come back to check on us and we were waiting for one dish for a while. The prices are a bit pricey. I'd say expect to walk out of here for $45+ for a meal for two. I guess that is average for a restaurant in 2025 but it's still ($$$) if you're wanting to each out. Bottom line/TLDR: great pizza!

    Tandoori chicken pizza

Menu hasn't changed much since the name change. Good beers. Monday pizzas are 1/2 off. Recently had the chicken Tandoori. It was recommended by a fellow patron and I decided to go for it. With the yogurt sauce, Serrano for spice. It was a great experience trying pizza this way. No regrets. Going back soon

    Ahi & Avocado salad

Friendly happening place. Safe order would be pizza and maybe pasta. We got the Ahi & Avocado salad - don't; and the fish and chips - ok. Our friends got pasta which looked heavy but they seemed to like it. The bread knots were yummy which makes me think the pizza is probably good.

Great time yesterday in their private room! Food and Service were fantastic!!! I was thankful to the team that helped us out. We had a work event and everyone enjoyed themselves. The room is nothing fancy but is perfectly located away from the main restaurant area and is perfect for about 30 people to get together.

Mushroom burger I had was fantastic, a really great burger! And the Rustic apple tart was great too! No complaints on the food. Service while good, could be better. They could be more attentive on checking in if we need anything. But great food!

The cheese pizza here is great; it's topped with dollops of ricotta and ribbons of fresh basil. They have a daily special: the Dino slice, which I'll often get as well. Sometimes the toppings are fun (e.g. pickles) and other times more run-of-the-mill (e.g. salami, bell peppers, etc) but I've never been disappointed even when I thought the flavors would be odd. They used to be pretty good about posting on Instagram what was on the Dino slice was, but I don't see it quite as often these days. If you're into saucing up your pizza, you can get ranch or hot honey or Dino sauce. It's been a while since I had the Dino sauce, but I recall it being tangy and cilantro-y with a bit of a spice kick. It sounds a bit different/odd, but I like getting it from time to time. The Dino eggs, from my recollection, are basically pizza dough balls. Mostly bread, which is fine since their bread/pizza crust is great, but I'd rather just stick to the pizza, so I only tried these once. The fries are good. Though, I probably wouldn't order them alongside the pizza unless you're looking for a carb bomb of a meal (which is what I had done the one time I ordered them). They're probably best if you're just looking for a snack to go with your beer & aren't planning on eating a whole bunch of pizza. They're quite good though. Nice and crispy. And it's a pretty big serving size. They have a dozen or so taps of various beers. Some local, some not. And they have a selection of cans and bottles as well. There isn't a ton of inside seating. A half dozen or so tables? And a few bar seats. There's probably more total seats in front and in the outside side patio. There's only street parking & there's lots of small shops nearby, so you might have to take a short walk from your car to get there.

Our server was very knowledgeable about the dishes and made recommendations, however it didn't work out so well with our food choices as the dishes were bland and lacking flavor. We were so disappointed that we hurriedly packed up our dishes to go and didn't take a great picture of the food that was plated very nicely.
