I'm so disappointed in my visit. We have come here many times for the nice environment, awesome Italian and their delicious free bread. Totally understand the struggles this past year but the switched you everything. Started charging for the bread; fine. Now they charge and cut the size in half. Tasteless now :(. Always order the chicken park that comes out sizzling in a skillet; now comes out on a cold plate, with tons of luke warm cheese, and a super watery marinara. What happened?!?! My experience with Fresco 2 is probably the worst dining experience I have ever seen. I have worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry for over 15 years, 8 as executive chef and 9 as a Gm. And I have never seen or experienced service like this. I decided to give this place a shot for Valentines Day which is also my anniversary. My reservation was at 630 pm I arrived at 615. after about 45 minutes of waiting for my reserved table and noticing other people that arrived later then me be seated I decided to approach the hostess stand. The young lady told me that no one had made her aware that I was here for the reservation, which clearly I checked in right when I walked in. She quickly apologized and had me seated right away so finally I was seated at 715 for my 630 reservation now please mind you that yes it was busy but clearly not that busy. After being seated our server came to take our orders and we had some questions about the menus which she could not answer. We decided to go with the option available for a party of 2 and it clearly says each person chooses one app each, one one soup or salad and one entree for $150. The server was insisting that it was as a couple we choose one salad one app then 2 entrees but the math didn't add up and I asked her if she could please double check with the manager. She then came back and said "ok I'll give you that one you were right" no harm done so we gave her our order and that was that. An hour later our salads or soup and apps have not arrived. And neither had our server to come check on us. I saw her standing back by the bar just having a grand old time chatting with the bar tender. I waved her down and asked for our apps and salads are coming she apologized and said the kitchen was a little backed up then said she is waiting for it to all be ready so she could bring it all out at once. So now I am questioning if this young lady has any service experience at all. So I asked her well we would like to have our appetizers and salads prior while we are waiting for our entrees if that is possible. She agreed then sped off I began to notice everyone around us was receiving there food late but none the less still at-least receiving there food. Finally at about 845 we receive our apps and salad and the food was delicious I can at-least say that. Now we are waiting for our entrees and about 930 the place is clearing out and we are almost the last ones there again I look for my server and of course she is standing over by the bar chatting with the bartender so I wave her down and tell her to just give me the check. I receive my check and my food I had recieved were in there. The spinach dip and fried shrimp and pear salad but also all kinds of alcoholic beverages were on there that I did not order aswell. My wife and I do not consume alcohol at all what so ever so I I showed the server she apologized and went to the computer and removed it all. Once I was able to pay I was approached by the manager finally for the first time through the whole 3 hours and here I thought she was finally coming over to explain and be hospitable but no she did none of that she plain faced told me that the computers were down that I needed to sign this waiver so that when it was back up they could charge my card and I was just dumb founded. What a joke of a place is this. Never in my life have I seen or ever heard of service like this I have been trying to find a way to contact the owner because being a business owner myself I want him to know how things are being handled in his establishment. Not one time was I ever approached by a manager to help smooth the situation not to mention it was like no one even cared about my experience . Needless to say my wife and I walked out never eating our dinner and still having to pay full price for service and food that took us 3 hours to get when we could have paid a quarter of the price at a Taco Bell and would have received better service I really hope this was a one time thing and I hope this server receives a chance to get better trained for future holidays I'm hoping someone will contact me before they charge my card for this experience aswell because I was not happy at all what so ever. read more

And the owner was even here and cooking this is a really family owned business with home cooked food you can't get any where in the A.V. Must come and must enjoy the Neptune platter it's a meal in isteself and just amazing. They have a full bar, and Mike was our surver and he has a beautiful voice and just so welcoming. Great flavor, great service, good atmosphere. Only reason I have Fresco a 3 star review is the Ribeye. They only offer a 22 ounce ribeye and it's 70$. I love a good ribeye steak and will happily pay for one. I also assume if they are only offering one and it's 70$ it must be good. NOPE!!! One of the worst cuts of meat I've ever had. Service was TOP NOTCH! The manager, Erika, has transformed the level of quality that surpasses any experience I've had in the Antelope valley. Our waitress Samantha was a gem and even Peter was so pleasant and attentive. The food was pretty good. Beware of the fire bread appetizer, it will burn!! But it was good if you love spicy food. Went 12/17/10 Been several times this year. First time they sat us in the bar, (and the restaurant was empty). Worked out well for us. They had a musician come in and play. A fun place to be. On Thursday, we got back late from a flight, stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn, and walked over in time for a drink. Place was packed for Karaoke. Went to dinner at Fresco II last night (Saturday) and we were amazed there was hardly anyone there! No wait. My dinner was good, my husband's hamburger was awful. The meat had just turned bad and they over salted it. He NEVER complains, but this time he said something. I suggested to the waitress she gave the chef smell the meat himself, but she came back and said she wasn't able to get his attention. What? I insisted she GET his attention to this matter and remove his meal from the bill. She did a good job overall, it wasn't her fault and she managed to fix the bill. But no one apologized or said anything regarding the bad meat. My dinner was delicious but the ambiance was ruined by the 6 TVs with different football games on them. 6. Not everyone is into sports or wants to watch sports on a romantic evening. My suggestion is split have the TVs with ambiance related live cams or something else besides sports. Anything to match the decor of the restaurant. When it's just sports, that tends to alienate those of us who aren't into watching big men crashing into themselves over a ball. read more

I ordered the creme brulee and lasagna for take-out. I was warned ahead of time by my order taker due to the packing method used for the creme brulee the dessert would look kind of funky but it wouldn't affect the taste unfortunately the packing method had nothing to do with taste it lacked the creamy custard flavor very bland. The lasagna was just ok, it lack pasta sauce and is very high in salt content I differently wouldn't recommend ordering it if you've been diagnosed with high blood pressure or watching your salt intake. 3 stars for customer service 0 for food read more

The outdoor dining is amazing here. My wife and I went here a couple of days ago for our anniversary and I am glad that we did. The outdoor dining is a covered patio with large hanging heaters and even a fireplace! They have these shade type things to block the wind so even on a cold evening (it was when we went) it was almost as comfortable as being inside. The place is decorated beautifully and the serving staff were extremely pleasant. Our server went as far as thanking us for supporting them during these tough times. The food selection was awesome. The food itself was amazing. The only downside we had were the cocktails. My wife and my drink was super sugary with little alcohol and were definitely not worth the $12 a piece. Other than that, we had a great evening at Fresco II. We will definitely be returning here numerous times. read more

I am very disappointed with the meal I ordered. The cooks preparation of the lasagna I got was an attack on my life. The lasagna was heavily salted and a heart risk for people like me with high blood pressure. It's been over a month ago I spoke with a representative for fresco two about the disgusting heavily salted lasagna and requested a refund for the meal and the slice of cake missing from the order. I spoke with the young lady taking telephone orders and the Gm Janet discussing with them them how unhappy I am. Now we have began another new month and the general manager has not issued a refund or tried to resolve the problem. I wanted to thank Erica and the Fresco's II staff for their excellent hospitality and service on 10/12/2021. My sister passed away unexpectedly and needed to find a place to host her Memorial Luncheon after Church Services. Fresco"s II was kind enough to open their doors that day at from 12:30- 3:30pm to accommodate our Family and Friends. They served over 60 guests and the Food, cakes and Drinks were off the charts delicious! We chose Filet Mignon, Chicken vegetables on a bed of mashed potatoes and Pene Pasta with chicken which our guests enjoyed very much!!! The Servers were kind, prompt and accommodating with all our guests. Additionally, Frescos allowed us to host a memorial video in honor of our dear sister and Helped us with the projector and equipment which my husband and I truly appreciated This was One of My Sister's Favorite restaurants and so thankful Fresco's was so accommodating with every aspect of the event ! And made it easy for us I such a difficult time of sorrow and loss. They brought light around us that day along with our guests and cannot thank everyone enough!! She was amazing, friendly and made us feel like VIP. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our family during our visit to your restaurant. The chef and staff were so accommodating. My mom had a wonderful time and is definitely planning to come and dine here more often. We enjoyed a wonderful dessert that was made especially for my mom since it was her bday. This is the only redeeming restaurant in the AV. Period. I overlook it because it is in the back of the mall. When I tried it for the 1st and 2nd time, my meals were quite memorable: Sea bass and Eggplant Parmesan. Dishes were fresh, not overcooked, and lightly seasoned. My Mom's gnocchi was also flavorful. The limoncello cake is a little sweet for my taste, but I still enjoyed it. I want to try everything on the menu. If I have time to sit down, I will eat every meal here. read more

I called ahead for a reservation same day and was able to get a table in the lounge area which was awesome because they had live music that night. There are SO MANY YUMMY options to choose from on the menu that I was torn! I eventually went with the lamb and I'm so glad I did. I remember thinking it sounded like a weird flavor combination but once I tasted it, I just wondered why I've never season lamb like that. The service was good. I held my 6th birthday party/dinner event here on Monday and it was a disaster. 6-7 of my guests didn't get their food until the party was almost over. Drinks were taking upwards of 30-40 minutes to come out. They kept saying there were so busy. There was less than 10 people in the entire restaurant. They have a new rule where you're only allowed to have up to 3 bills. Our server Michael was doing a great job and made the best out of what his kitchen/bar gave him. We tipped them very well and at the end of the night when I started cleaning up Samantha told me not to worry about it, just to take what we wanted to keep they would take care of the rest. Today I get a phone call from the "general manager" who was rude from the start telling me that my next planned event (my birthday, next week) would require me to rent the same room I've used a half dozen times for free. That somehow this event slipped by without her knowledge but when I called to book they told me they had to run it by her and call me back. Interesting. I told her that due to the nature of our service this last event that I would not be willing to pay for that room, especially since it's always been no charge. She tells me "we had issues with you guys too". I say such as? She says "you guys left all your decorations and my staff was there till midnight cleaning up". I was instructed to leave the decor which was 5 plastic table clothes, a small balloon arch, a plastic photo drop background and happy birthday balloon sign. I could've cleaned that up in ten minutes. The room probably took that long to clean up because zero dishes or glasses were removed the entire duration of our stay. Been here twice. First time, we walked out after waiting an hour for our food. Second time was even worst. The manager was seen making out with another woman, they all seemed to be high and drinking. Not to mention, their waiters/waitresses like to stand around the bar and chit chat while customers can't even get a water refill. Absolutely worst place that I've been to. first of all, I ordered 2 pizzas. one of them was missing two of the ingredients that it listed online, and I know they weren't out of them because the second pizza I ordered had those same two ingredients and they were on there. we also ordered 2 creme brûlée's and it literally looked like vomit in a to go container (and tasted pretty close to that also). I don't know how they could be okay with serving this to their customers. we ordered for pickup and didn't see any of this until we got home so we weren't even able to get it fixed. for the price of the food here you would think they would care a little bit more about the food they are serving read more

We have been going to Fresco's since they were on Ave L. Visited Fresco quite often the food was beyond amazing even right after covid. We visited Fresco's this evening, the food was so full of salt it gave Morton competition. My husband never sends anything back. But after getting our entree full of salt we sent it back.. the bartender was nice at the beginning and once we sent our food back she became very condescending. I took one away for the service. Very poor drink service. Asked for a Bloody Mary that never came as well as refilling those mimosa's-took forever!!
