    Grilled Artichoke

Came here for my birthday dinner. My SO made a reservation, but it wasn't really needed - the place was pretty empty when we arrived. The server let us choose our own table, so we picked one with a nice view of the dining area. Service was relaxed and gave us time to decide. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki Kabob, and my SO got the chef's special - Chicken with Garlic Mashed Potatoes. We started with the Grilled Artichoke appetizer, and wow - it was amazing! So flavorful and satisfying, we practically went into a food coma. Unfortunately, the Chicken Kabob was a letdown. I expected something better, especially after such a strong start. Overall, great appetizer, decent service, but the main dish didn't quite deliver.

Here for a retirement party on Wednesday. We came during the week in the evening and it wasn't even packed. We had reservations for a large party and the space was great. My husband ordered the fire shrimp as an appetizer and the ribeye dinner as his main entree. I on the other hand ordered their caprese salad and calamari. I also ordered a Cadillac margarita from the bar. It was a nice size and very tasty. The food did take a long time and like I stated it wasn't even crowded. For instance a guest in our party ordered some fries. It took approximately 1 hour for it to be delivered to our table. But all in all the food was very tasty and delicious. The servers were great and so was the bartender. I just feel like they were most likely under staff. They only had a bartender, one server, and only God knows how many were in the kitchen. Honesty, I do recommend this place and thank you Fresco's.

Went to Frescos, enjoyed our dinner.. And the entertainment was superb! Daphne made it so enjoyable. She plays an array of different songs. Fresco, you hit it out of the park hiring Daphne. What an awesome addition to your establishment. We will definitely going back.. For dinner, and that awesome entertainer!

    Awesome talent doing custom covers.

Excellent salmon, veggies are good. The old fashions were delicious. Music talent doing his own versions of covers was a real cool. Our server Kaylee was a sweetheart.

Greek stuffed mushrooms and Mykonos meatballs

We came here for a nice Saturday evening dinner. We walked in and the place wasn't so packed, but the wait for a table was long. And then another long wait for some service. Or maybe I was just hangry. For appetizers, we had the Greek stuffed mushrooms and the Mykonos meatballs (these were the size of baseballs). Both were very tasty and filling. Our main dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious. We ordered the angel hair pasta with tomatoes and basil as well as the seared salmon that came with a sizable portion of baked salmon with mashed potatoes and veggies. Oh so good. Great atmosphere and amazing food! However, the speed and attentiveness of the staff could use some improvement. I would still recommend Fresco II.

An Antelope Valley institution for over 20 years, Fresco II is a popular spot for gourmet Mediterranean cuisine! The restaurant is beautiful, inside and out. The service on the other hand was fairly pedestrian and amateurish. Not really fitting for an establishment of this caliber with all the white tablecloths and whatnot. For dinner, I ordered a dish called "Mama G's". A Sicilian style meatball, and spicy Italian sausage in marinara sauce, served over spaghetti. I just loved the name of this dish! The meatball was outstanding. Large, plump, tender and tasty. A nice amount of delicious Italian sausage that really wasn't all that spicy. The pasta was cooked at least 2 minutes past al dente unfortunately. The plate was excessively sauced and not served quite hot enough. For $27 it should have come with bread service. Overall an enjoyable visit. I look forward to trying some of their HH specials the next time I'm in Palmdale.

Welp! They did it again! This restaurant is amazing. So home like. I appreciate the awesome service and great atmosphere. If you've never been here please give this place a chance. We hosted a party for my boss's birthday and we were able to make a custom menu with all of our favorites. I wasn't able to take pictures this time but I got some photos of the room before anyone showed up! This room is huge. I asked the server and she said they can sit up to 65 guests comfortably and I believe it! They also do private events to rent the whole restaurant! Amalia and Lenny were amazing! Thank you again to the amazing staff! We'll be Back!!!

Fire Pasta with different ingredients! In my opinion it's a fail!

I was in the mood for a good hearty salad as I had a heavy seafood meal the night before and was planning on big bbq for weekend so I wanted to kinda have a clean fill up in between! So we selected the chicken kebab salad, something with the Lulu and Shawarma chicken, the tzatziki dip with some pita bread and a bottle of Pinot Grigio. To me the kebabs were a bit too charred I'm not sure if that's how they should be or not. I was expecting soft savory meat not a dry different version of bbq meat. The dressing was dryer than expected (that was my best adjective at the moment) it was vinegar overpowering. I had hoped for think more of a fruit maybe flavored balsamic taste. I didn't finish it I just ended up drinking lunch along with the tzatziki dip. I did like the rice that came with my mother's meal too. It was flavorful and made perfectly (unlike my rice!) So for me this was a one and done type a place I'm glad I experienced it, but I won't be back.

My husband and I usually order take-out, but on our recent visit, we decided to dine in. We arrived on a Sunday evening (5pm). Parking is shared with other businesses in the plaza. We found one in the shade. The restaurant is small, but they utilize their space well. There are 4 tables and I believe 3 high-top tables as well as outdoor seating. The interior is well-kept and decorated nicely to match the Greek theme. Ordering takes place at the counter, no self-serve kiosk. They have many menu options like sides, gyros, plates, kids menu, family meal, lunch specials, soups, and desserts. My go-to item is their Greek Chicken Pita with Lemon Sauce in place of the tzatziki ($13). I would sometimes order this with a side of fries, but my husband got it in his combo. The reason I order this all the time is because the pita not only tastes amazing, it's also filling! There's grilled chicken, potatoes, pickled onions, greens, and lemon sauce. The pita is thick and has the perfect chew to it. There is so much flavor in every bite! The fries were delicious as well. They were soft on the inside and crisp and seasoned well on the outside. Overall, a great spot for Mediterranean food. I would happily recommend this to anyone!

Really fun ambiance, they have live music and they even had a dancer at one point which was super fun to see. She comes around to all areas of the restaurant so everyone can take a look. You get one round of house bread and their house dip complimentary. And for a group of 4 it was plenty enough. Their slices of bread are THICK. The house dip is light and fluffy. It's made with garlic and a slew of other ingredients. We ordered a few appetizers because we were only lightly hungry. The fried calamari was delicious, it's a typical calamari dish but it was still good. We also got the dolmas with ground beef. Woah, I've never seen such huge dolmas before! I'm used to smaller more tightly wrapped ones. They were great though! They had kind of a buttery flavor. Others split the spanakopita and seemed to enjoy it. Fun time and fun ambiance! Good service too. Solid place for a night out.

Definitely not the best acoustics, and it's one of those situations where you basically have to yell in order to communicate what you want to say and l strain to hear what your friends or family are saying lol. But besides that, everything was fantastic! The dolmas really stood out to me. They are not your typical dolmas and are incredibly flavorful and just really delicious. I was tempted to order two. When you sit down, they will bring out some fresh bread and their house dip. The house dip is dairy free, but very creamy and fluffy. I wasn't the biggest fan of the flavor, but it was still good. Got the spanakopita and it was packed with spinach and definitely tasted incredibly fresh. My sister and her boyfriend enjoyed the fried calamari. It was a little bit of a bummer that they didn't do anything for my sister's birthday, but maybe it's because we didn't order enough food? Not sure. They do have belly dancers during the dinner time, so it can be a fun evening. Live music as well. Definitely a fun environment! Parking can be tricky, but thankfully, I lucked out. The area is really cool. Love the shopping area! There is no doubt I'll be back.

The staff also wears gloves when handling food. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor & outdoor seating available with some indoor limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers.  COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination.  While I was here eating my food in this establishment a month ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. But this isn't strictly enforced. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is incredibly small. They have valet parking. I urge you to park on the street. However, be wary of the signs. On one side, there is a no parking sign on Wednesdays from 12PM - 3PM. On the other side, it says no parking on Thursdays from 12PM - 3PM. Basically don't go there on Monday and Tuesday (they are closed) and Wednesday and Thursdays for horrible street parking. It is a shame that a cute mom and pop restaurant closed. I am sad that I did not know about it sooner. I would have came more frequently. They have been opened since 1948. Very impressive! Food: I ordered a baklava, spanakopita, and gyro sandwich. The house made baklava went perfect with my coffee the next day. A delicious start to a new day. The baklava combines layers of honey-soaked crisp phyllo pastry and a cinnamon-scented nut mixture with pistachios, walnuts, and hazelnut. To me, nothing rivals homemade baklava. The texture of crispy and flaky phyllo pastry. The crunchy filling. And the warm honey syrup. It is all I want in a dessert / breakfast. The spanakopita was very delicious and filling. This spanakopita had sauteed spinach, feta cheese and seasonings, all wrapped up in phyllo dough and baked until golden brown and crisp. It's the perfect blend of spinach, cheese, onions, and herbs in a buttery crust. It was very savory. The gyro sandwich was so mouthwatering. My gyro sandwich included succulent, marinated, and seasoned lamb and beef grilled to perfection. Then it was wrapped up with fresh tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and feta cheese in warm, soft, and slightly chewy pita, and slathered in delicious homemade creamy tzatziki sauce. I got a pistachio yogurt bar from their mini deli and market area. It was so nutty, creamy, and rich. Perfect for a hot summer's day. I love that they use real pistachio with yogurt to make it. None of the fake artificial stuff was used. Glad I didn't offer my close friend a bite of this otherwise he would have suffered a severe allergic reaction in the restaurant. That would have made the dining experience incredibly memorable, and not in a good way LOL I love that they have a complimentary water station for customers to grab as much water as they want. After leaving DTLA to work in the suburbs, I haven't been back and sad to say, it took a looming permanent closure to bring me back. I got it again, over 10 years later, and it is still as good as remembered. Prices have doubled (what can you expect in our current economy T_T), but the portion is still generous and the food still fresh and yummy. I brought BF and we ordered a spread enough for a family of four: spanakopita, tiropita, sausage appetizer, gyro sandwich, beef kefta patties sandwich (they were out of the beef kebab), fish sandwich, chicken kebab plate, and loukoumades dessert. Everything was fresh, light and delicious (okay, the dessert was a little too sweet for me)! We also grabbed a $3.99 baguette from the connected market. If you're planning on coming for one last visit before they close that first weekend of May 2025, make sure to come early and queue in the front of the store.
