    California Roll (Cooked)

What an extensive menu! Everything they had was yummy. We especially enjoyed the cans that the boba came with and the cup of noodle fried rice. A bit on the pricier side, but felt on par with sushi.

I got the kimbap special with coffee in the morning. Glad I didn't have to make coffee today. It's like you get the coffee for free with two kimbaps. The coffee pretty good. Got the egg kimbap, and it was great except for the ham. Not that it tasted bad, but I'm trying to stay away from cured meats. The spicy squid kimbap was great as well. The spicy tuna and kimchi is way too spicy for me. Glad I tried this place! Very fast service. I ordered online and it was ready in a few minutes.

Best hot pepper kimbap ever. Careful it'll knock you out! Special roll 101 was smothered in good sauce. Park in the lot. No wait during lunch. Hot pepper kimbap 5/5 it's a spice overload Special roll 101 4/5 has a really crunchy shrimp. I didn't expect that much sauce but it balanced out the hot pepper roll. I'd come back - didn't realize I'd be a fan of their spice level.

Food was soon delicious. Wanted to try new things this year and Korean food was the first on my list. The freshness or the crisp veggies the spice is definitely there if you don't like spice I wouldn't recommend anything that says sticky because it is true to its word. I will definitely order from here again. Oh and it was delivered and still hot upon arrival

Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Value: 7/10 (portions slightly smaller than other lunch places) Tips: if you ask for any ingredients to be removed from the kimbap, they will make it for you! Best fresh kimbap/dosirak, taken out more than 6 times and they never disappoint. Dosirak means lunchbox/bento box in Korean. Their menu has a lot of variety from kimbap to rice dishes. Service is great and everyone is soo nice.

shrimp tempura udon noodle soup w/ kimchi side
    Susan K.

Of all things at a Korean dosirak (packed lunch) spot I chose the Japanese Shrimp tempura udon noodle soup. Overall it was okay and fried shrimp to the side was good idea. However, the soup base tasted a bit strong that the taste lingered in my mouth all day. Next time, I'll be sure to try the gimbab and mainly Korean things like ddukbokki, etc. This place faces adjacent to the new Barrymore theatre and across the street from CVS and Paris Baguette.

Leaving my rating at 4 stars, although my takeout lunch today wasn't up to the usual standard! Probably an off day! With the exception of the shrimp tempura and the gyoza, my dosirak was cold! I don't mean it was recently hot and cooled off. I mean refrigerated cold! Very small portion of chicken teriyaki as well this time. Spicy Korean Ramen was not spicy, but it was hot and so was the Udon ordered. Everything was well packed as usual and food was fresh and tasty. Will go back in the future and hope things are back to usual.

    Spicy Tuna Kimbap
    Helena L.

Ordered a tasty spicy tuna kimbap! The roll had a nice crunch from the carrots/radish and a punch of flavor from all other different ingredients. Great takeout place for a small snack or lunch/dinner with friendly service and reasonable prices. I will come back again when I'm in the area! Food: 4.5/5 Ambience : 4/5 Service: 5/5

    Spam Kimbap

affordable authentic kimbap place in fort lee! We went here to grab some kimbap for our long road trip upstate because it's super convenient to eat. I would definitely come back here to get some on-the-go foods for a picnic in the park like rice cakes or even a lunch box!! There was plenty of seating and each kimbap was 7-8 dollars and very filling :) We got the Spam Kimbap, Spam Kimchi Kimbap and Spicy Tuna Kimbap which were all solid options.

Good value/portion size. - Ttugbaegi Cheese Ddubokki/Ttugbaegi Cheese Ddubokki - this was disappointing. The rice cake was overcooked. - Egg Kimbap - as expected - Kimchi Stew Dosirak - This was the Friday special and came with a lot of food. Stew not pictured.

This place has some of the most delicious kimbaps in the area. Very good, fresh and filling. Prices were decent as well! We got a bunch of kimbap to go and it did not disappoint. We tried the regular tuna, wasabi tuna, the spicy tuna and the shrimp tempura and everything was yum. I wished they marked on the container what each kimbap was since we got so many. Also tried the spicy ddukboki (spicy rice cake) and that was delicious. Definitely recommended

Delicious, delicious, delicious. The ramen and tempura were very tasty and filling. I definitely recommend ordering from here.

That gave us enough time to have the place to ourselves and order literally everything they could think to serve us. This was easily one of the best KBBQ experiences I've had. The meat cuts were all perfectly marinated and grilled, from the Dry-Aged Pork Belly, to the tender Pork Jowl, to the juicy Marinated Pork Ribs. The Budae Jjigae was savory comfort, and the Shin Ramen Fried Rice was not only abundant, but served in an adorable heart shape. Even the Kimchi Stew and Gyeran-jjim were more umami than the countless counterparts I've had elsewhere. On top of that, we got more ban chan than an attention-starved halmoni hosting her first family reunion in 10 years. Everywhere I pointed my chopsticks, I touched food. It was delightful. If I can ever gather enough people, I'd gladly infest this place again.

Came on a weekday night and there weren't many people in the store. - Deluxe Gomtang - I think the difference between the normal gomtang and the deluxe version is that they give a bit more meat and rice. I really liked the gomtang as the flavors were really rich especially when elevated by the pepper. - Seolleongtang - Clear and beautiful broth that went really well with salt. I felt like the meat was not as tender as I hoped but still made me think of my favorite Korean restaurant where I grew up. - Kong-guksu - I didn't know what to expect of this dish as I've never heard of it or tried it before but I didn't really like the dish. No matter how much salt/pepper I put in, there still didn't seem to be a lot of flavor. I ended up dumping the Korean Pickled Onion banchan in which helped elevate the flavor a lot. - Mini KimchiJeon - When I read this off the menu, I though the kimchi pancake would be extremely small but it turned out to be quite bit and very delicious. It was super crispy on the outside with soft insides stuffed with kimchi. I will definitely be back to this home-y restaurant!

We arrived around 8:50 a.m., and the restaurant was already packed, which is always a good sign. Even though my friend was still about eight minutes away, the staff was kind enough to accommodate us, which we really appreciated. Every bowl was a hit. The kids enjoyed their beef soups, while the adults ordered the beef knee soup, with one person choosing the spicy beef soup. Each soup came with cooked sticky purple rice, a few noodles in the broth, and classic Korean side dishes like kimchi that rounded out the meal perfectly. The service was phenomenal from beginning to end. Despite how busy they were, the staff remained friendly, attentive, and efficient. We decided on this place because rating was pretty good and was open late. It's located in a plaza with Korean market, liquor store, cafe and such. Large parking area available in the plaza. Inside is small but clean and gives off traditional Korean restaurant vibe with of course Korean music. There were quite few Korean customers as well as staffs so i knew we were in the right place. They specialize in Korean beef soup. We ordered rice cake and dumplings and special beef rib soup. The fish came with purple rice and various kimchi and pickled veggies side dishes. They also serve korean hot tea along side the dishes. My special beef rib soup was very light and clear but full of beef flavor. Little touch with salt and pepper with pickled veggies and rice paired with very well. The meats were very tender and flavorful as well. Portion is quite large and i was not able to finish my bowl although i did help with another bowl of rice from my partner. My partner got the rice cake and dumplings beef soup. This one was a but lighter and needed more salt flavoring but also good. She liked her's better as she doesn't like heavier and fattier meat/broth. Salt and peppers are provided to adjust your seasoning as needed. Even though they could not finish the dishes i throughly enjoyed the food. What i like about Korean dishes is that even some are heavy and fatty they include lots of vegetables and healthy ingredients which makes it feel like you had a healthy meal and lots of nutrients despite eating out. Service was minimal but adequate. Overall it was very good authentic Korean restaurant that offers solid Korean beef soup.
