    Kimchi Dumpling 6pc

Stop what you're doing and just go pick up some Mandoo (dumplings) from here for your lunch, dinner party, oh heck, breakfast! I had kimchi dumplings and meat bun when someone brought it at a meeting and upon first bite, I knew I stumbled across something special. I'm a mandoo expert (just, take my word on it... you'll be whole) and here's my take: 1. Kimchi Mandoo ($14/6 pcs, 5/5) - It's massive and unlike many other places that put too much kimchi in order to skimp out on proteins, this place puts bits of tofu and meat (pork I think) w/ glass noodle bits to make up for a sumptuous, not too sour but dare I say umami & hint of heat that makes for a delicious bite. It'll take most people more than 3 bites to finish. Skin is perfect thickness with nice chew. 2. Steamed Buns (Pork) - ($14/6 pcs, 5/5) - Massive(r) and with great bun-to-filling ratio, they're delicious with umami beef & veggie filling. Be sure to dip into their dumpling soy sauce to bring out the full flavor of these baddies! I got the 6 pcs which is a very good value for the amount of food you get - I don't think even 4 adults can finish them in one seating. They also provide the above-mentioned dipping sauce in a small cup and a bag of radish pickles. Dumplings were served hot straight out of the steamers, but if you're not ready to dig in, they do sell frozen ones, probably at different prices. Interior is bright & clean and I talked to the nice young gentleman who told me his parents used to run a dumpling place in S.Korea for a while before coming here. No wonder the dumplings are so good! I ate two in the car while waiting for someone - they're that good. Please pay a visit and support this gem!

Very small unassuming spot. They only serve 3 things, Kimchi dumplings, pork, buns, and read bean buns. I am no expert or authority when it comes to dumplings, but I truly enjoyed this place. It is take out only. And these are some big dumplings/buns. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The pork was my favorite. Sweet onions and savory pork. The only thing I wish they had was a nice chili oil. It would've complimented the sweet and savory flavors perfectly. This place does the 3 things they do very well. Highly recommended. ENJOY!!!

I heard mixed reviews about this place from my friends so I obviously had try it out. Who doesn's love the fluffy white bread of wang mandoo?! This place only sells 3 types of dumplings. Pork, Kimchee, red bean bun. RESULTS were that....... It was just alright, nothing special. The red bean bun was probably the best one (given that I'm not a huge fan of red bean). I kind of wish the bread had more fluff to it and so sad the kimchi one wasn't the fluffy breaded version either. Boooo. I wanted to give it a 3 star for food, but the owner seemed like a sweet man when I walked in to pick up my order and I'm a stickler for customer service so I give this a 4 (:

A new dumpling place on Broad Avenue in Palisades Pk. Take-out only !!!!!! They only specialize in dumplings - kimchi, pork, & red bean (sweet) varieties. Six (6) dumplings for $10, and you can mix the varieties ^^ After having tried the two of them - kimchi & pork - I prefer the kimchi type for its simple, crunchy filling without too much spiciness. I also like its THIN dough. I call it simple because it is very true to kimchi flavor rather than any other. On the other hand, my husband prefers the pork one - thick fluffy dough (bread dough type), a bit sweetness to its filling. Both come "steamed" - steamed only, not fried - and you can actually see the family/staff making the dumplings in the kitchen area. The size is pretty HUGE - and thus quite fulfilling !!!!

Absolutely delicious wang mandoo! They literally only serve three items, Kimchi dumplings, pork buns, and red bean buns. And the pork buns are to die for! Flavor was on point and so was the fluffiness of the buns! Highly recommend. Sometimes there is a line, and then they run out and need some time to make more. So highly recommend calling ahead if you want large order of the pork buns.

One of my favorite places for Korean mondoo (dumpling/buns). They have a very simple menu with only 4 to 5 things to choose from. Everything is $2 each or you can mix and match 6 for $10. I always with a combination of their pork buns and kimchi dumplings. They are made fresh in-house each day and steamed to perfection. They only offer takeout and the staff is very friendly and humble. Street parking only and it can be a little tough to find a spot.

First time visitor in this small shop located in the heart of Palisades Park. This place is definitely take-out only as there were no visible seats indoors. Staff were super friendly and even packed me an extra bun, which was very sweet of them. They don't skimp out on the size or the filling as the buns and dumplings are packed full with pork, kimchi, or sweet red beans. The dough was also perfectly soft and fluffy. Perfect to grab as a snack or as a meal when you're in the area!

New mandoo place in town and I am loving it! Small mom and pop's joint but packing a big punch with the fresh mandoos. $10 for a 6 count combo allows you to sample all 3 types: pork+veggie, kimchi, & red bean. Favorite would probably be the kimchi or pork. Kimchi is a bit smaller, but you still won't be able to talk if you put the whole thing in your mouth. The red bean one also brought back some childhood memories. Eat them fresh as much as possible. Makes a big difference on texture and flavor once it's cooled and or reheated, at least for me.

They are so friendly. I bought frozen kimchi mandoo and gogi mandoo. It costs $40. He gave me two wang mandoo for free.

Ordered three things: 1) marinated crabs, small size (5/5). Always a must-get here. 2) ddukbaegi bulgogi (4.5/5) - Thinly sliced prime marinated beef ribeye casserole with rice cake and glass noodle and mushroom served in a sizzling hot pot. Really flavorful and so good to have on a cold day. 3) ahjae ppyo jjim (4.5/5) - Braised prime beef meat bones in soy reduction with carrots, radish, dates, chestnut, rice cake and glass noodles. We got non-spicy. It came in a HUGE bowl. Definitely meant to be shared with a group. Took leftovers home and it was still yummy the next day mixed with knife-cut noodles I had at home.

The Budae Jjigae was savory comfort, and the Shin Ramen Fried Rice was not only abundant, but served in an adorable heart shape. Even the Kimchi Stew and Gyeran-jjim were more umami than the countless counterparts I've had elsewhere. But if you want to gauge price a little, we went with 4 adults, 3 kids and ordered japchae (glass noodles), kimchi pajeon (pancake), 2 bottles of soju, drinks, a meat set that came with soup, 2 types of pork and 2 types of beef and it came out to about $350, tip included. If you're on the fence about coming, definitely come.

Ooooh, it's been awhile since my last review…read more After 4 years, I still love Wooga but those "$$$$" on the their Yelp page keeps me from eating here more often. This time around, it's a stronger 5 out of 5 because of our waiter was amazing. Ugh, I can't remember his name. He was on top of everything and making sure our food was grilled in a timely manner. He was quick to follow up with orders/requests that didn't come through when the kitchen didn't bring them out. Usually my gripe or disclaimer I give to people is that Wooga is great at everything except wrapping up things on the end. In the past, whenever I went, it would take forever (!!!!!) to get our check and pay. It was so frustrating but this time around, it was a bit faster. It's a win-win situation because we get to pay and leave and the restaurant has another table for customers. Though on the pricier side, Wooga does check off all the boxes of: -amazing meat quality -amazing & attentive service -they don't skimp on banchans (side dishes that I heard other restaurants are starting to limit) -several meat combo options -best Korean steamed egg in the North Jersey area We tried the thinly sliced oxtails, which were really good but pretty pricey for $38cash/$39.90card for 11oz of it. There are some things that are inconvenient (long waits, very small parking lot) but it's easy to overlook them once you have a meal at Wooga. Things to know before you go: -Their menu is updated on their website if you want to check that out before you go. -The earlier you go, the better your chance of being seated quickly. Weekends are definitely a longer wait, so plan ahead. -Their parking lot is small so it fills up super quickly, so you'll have to park across the street and play Frogger (maybe you might be too young to know this reference?) to cross the 4 lanes of Palisade Ave. -When you arrive, make sure to check in with the host/hostess so that you could get a pager to know when your table is ready. Your turn can come pretty fast sometimes depending on the timing.

We decided on this place because rating was pretty good and was open late. It's located in a plaza with Korean market, liquor store, cafe and such. Large parking area available in the plaza. Inside is small but clean and gives off traditional Korean restaurant vibe with of course Korean music. There were quite few Korean customers as well as staffs so i knew we were in the right place. They specialize in Korean beef soup. We ordered rice cake and dumplings and special beef rib soup. The fish came with purple rice and various kimchi and pickled veggies side dishes. They also serve korean hot tea along side the dishes. My special beef rib soup was very light and clear but full of beef flavor. Little touch with salt and pepper with pickled veggies and rice paired with very well. The meats were very tender and flavorful as well. Portion is quite large and i was not able to finish my bowl although i did help with another bowl of rice from my partner. My partner got the rice cake and dumplings beef soup. This one was a but lighter and needed more salt flavoring but also good. She liked her's better as she doesn't like heavier and fattier meat/broth. Salt and peppers are provided to adjust your seasoning as needed. Even though they could not finish the dishes i throughly enjoyed the food. What i like about Korean dishes is that even some are heavy and fatty they include lots of vegetables and healthy ingredients which makes it feel like you had a healthy meal and lots of nutrients despite eating out. Service was minimal but adequate. Overall it was very good authentic Korean restaurant that offers solid Korean beef soup.
