First time here. Food is good. People not really socially distancing but whatever. They asked me if I wanted my food here or to go I said here. And then they put a plastic lid on anyway. Why ask? And why waste so much plastic for less than 10 seconds. This is supposed to be a healthy food establishment. Aren't we also supposed to care about the planet? They could save probably hundreds of plastic lids ending up in a landfill every day. And when I said something to the person helping me her response was well you can just throw it out. No shit. This was our first time here...we loved it! It was a little confusing ordering for the first time but the young lady who took our order was AMAZING and so helpful explaining everything to us. Luckily there wasn't anyone behind us in line so we had a lot of time to understand the process. The BBQ chicken was so good and the green basil balsamic sauce is our favorite. We live in Maryland and do not have a Fresh Kitchen so on our trip to Orlando we tried it for the first time and loved it so much we had it again the following day and it was even more delicious. This place is heaven in a bowl! I'm officially obsessed! Every single item I chose for my bowl was full of flavor , seasoned just right, I couldn't stop mmmmmm with every bite. I chose kale slaw and quinoa as my two bases, and piled on the veggies, didn't care if I had to pay $1.75 extra for more, I added green beans, carrots, mushrooms and sweet potatoes, then added citrus chicken and finished it off with tomato salad. This bowl didn't even need the sauce, everything was so delicious without it. We also got a pack of chocolate chip cookies and zucchini brownies. Omg, the cookies were definitely our favorite. Let me start off by saying that the food is great here. I've had Fresh Kitchen in Tampa several times and they have impeccable service. FK in Orlando is so-so. I went there once to find out that they closed the kitchen 10 minutes earlier than usual, locked the doors so you cant even get a drink and another time when they were having a meeting on a Sunday during dinner time. They were not serving food in-store but accepted delivery on Postmates, just to cancel it after 25 minutes. Best customer service ever. I always thought this place was a bit pricey for what you get but then Covid came along and screwed up society. Everything went up and so did these guys but not by much. I also thought for the price of what you pay, you get really good quality food and massive portions. This place just has really good simple food that is filling, healthy and fresh. But what really makes this place stand out is their customer service...I only had Apple Pay, they didnt accept it but comped my meal since they didnt have the correct signage. I love this place so much. Crave it all the time; saving grace during my pregnancy as it was one of the only things I could keep down with guaranteed nutritional value. This place is soooo good! What a perfect place for both meat lovers and vegetarians to go for a great healthy meal. It is pricey in my opinion, but the quality and uniqueness of the food makes up for it. I've had Fresh Kitchen both in restaurant and with catering, each time it's been fantastic. I highly recommend the cauliflower mash and the sweet potatoes - those are the only items I have to get every time. As for sauces, you can't go wrong with the creamy white ginger! The food and the concept are great, but they are surprisingly incompetent at handling food allergies. The menu is labeled with codes for certain allergens, yet the counter staff didn't know that SF stands for "sugar free" instead of "soy free." Very important distinction! They had no idea how to handle a soy allergy. They do have a laminated flip book of allergy information behind the counter. Sometimes they let customers look at it, and sometimes they handle the book with food prep gloves on...so is the book clean, or not?! With better training and a few simple steps, such as putting allergen information on their web site, this could be a five star restaurant. read more

I am vegan and sugar-free for health reasons and finding this place on a recent trip to Orlando was such a relief! The food was tasty and filling. We were only in Florida for a few days, but ended up going here twice- once for lunch and once to pick up food for the road. It was great! I would love to see this franchise expand north. My only complaint is that quite a few of the bases had cilantro in them, which is just not a fave of mine and could easily be eliminated from some of the dishes like the potato noodles and spiced rice. On a Thursday evening we ordered Fresh Kitchen through Uber Eats. I recently moved back to Orlando after being gone for nearly 2 years. And this was one of my favorite healthy options of restaurants in the area. I had never before ordered the spinach salad. And to say it was delish would definitely be an understatement! I can say the food is good, but when I asked questions about what things were made of I got very vague answers. When I asked for nutrition facts they could neither tell me they were on the website or give me a pamphlet! Apparently, their nutrition facts are not listed anywhere! It makes me very leery to eat at a place that claims to be very healthy but I cannot find out what is in my food or even how many calories or how many carbs or fat are in it. I think I found my new favorite health restaurant! Fresh kitchen has everything to offer and more. Not only is the food fresh, but the quality and price are excellent. The portions are perfect also. You order at the counter as your food is prepared in front of you. You have your choice of bowl which comes with different amounts of ingredients which is great depending on how hungry you are. I opted for the four bowl for dinner which is two bases, one veggie, one protein, and one sauce. I had the coconut ginger rice and sweet potato noodles for my base. I added in the sesame green beans as my veggie and the almond chicken for my protein. I chose the creamy white ginger for my sauce. My bowl came out delicious, kind of an Asian take with a little bit of sweet and crunch. Everything was so delicious, the sweet potato noodles were really unique and the Almond chicken was cooked perfectly. My favorite were the sesame green beans. I found the staff very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. There is plenty plenty of seating inside and out. They also have larger tables if you are with a group. I really liked the different flavors of iced tea offered as well, though they didn't have any sugar substitutes available. I will be sure to go back and try more ways to mix up the bowls! read more

The St. Pete location is far better as far as the amount of food you get, the taste of the food and the friendliness of the staff. At the S.
