What a great place! I ordered the Energy smoothie and a Mitch's Wrap from here. The smoothie is super fresh and doesn't have a whole bunch of artificial ingridients. Only $6 for a large and it was worth every dollar! The Mitch's Wrap was only $5.5 but it was super filling and tasted delicious. The Jalapenos inside have it just the right amount of kick. I'm an acai bowl addict, & have ~2 acai bowls everyday each time I visit San Diego (I used to live here for 5 years & was not as obsessive don't worry). I usually go to Juice Kaboose in La Jolla around the corner, but they were closed so I checked out Be Fresh. This might actually be the BEST acai bowl I've ever had. It's such a small simple shop, but the flavor & consistency of the acai is so much better than Juice Kaboose & most acai bowl places I've been to. I liked it so much I came back the next day for more! I would love if they gave more toppings (they only give granola, strawberries, & bananas), and it's pretty small so I would love a bigger portion too. It's also right across the street from my favorite fish market restaurant, El Pescador. Win/win! read more

Totally worth the jogg there! That's right, I didn't drive... I jogged to this place! That's how badly I wanted to try it out. Parking in that area is pretty bad and I only had so much time. I called in the order and the lady that I spoke to was very nice and helpful. So I took off and shortly after made it there, panting and gasping for air, but very eager, excited and ready to give this place a try! I ended up getting the chicken torta, which was pretty amazing! When I ordered the torta, I asked the lady what ingredients came with it. She proceeded to tell me the list of ingredients and at the end she added, "all the ingredients are very, very fresh." Well, I thought to myself, good marketing strategy, of course you want to tell the customer the ingredients are fresh. See, the best part about this is that, it wasn't just for advertising purposes, the ingredients were actually VERY FRESH. The torta comes with onions, tomatoes, avocado, lettuce, chipotle sauce and jalapenos on a torta roll. The portion was more than enough for one person and the price was very reasonable. I ate half of it and shared the other half with my brother. The chicken breast was tasty and the japalenos added a nice spicy touch. After I told the gentleman helping me at the register that I had jogged there, he smiled and offered me a free drink! I ended up choosing the Jamaica drink, which was delicious too! So thank you for the drink! Definitely coming back to try other items on their menu! We ordered the turkey wrap, shrimp ceviche, blue kale smoothie and Befresh smoothie and we loved every single bite. Everything is made there fresh with ingredients that you can see (no powders or any other additives that don't belong in your body). I would have to say this place has the best açaí bowl that I've tried in San Diego so far. They just changed their name to Fresheria but this place was previously known as Be Fresh and I was told that the food has not changed since the recent name change. The basic açaí bowl includes coconut, bananas, strawberries, granola, and honey and tastes amazing. The texture of the açaí is so unique and is not only delectable but almost resembles the soft texture of ice cream. It is definitively better than the açaí I have tasted at other places that usually tastes more icy and watered down. Just a warning, this place does not have a bathroom but they are nearby shops walking distance from there that do. I would highly recommend going here if you are in the mood for a high quality and delicious açaí bowl! read more

There are plenty of healthy choices in the area that are similar, why not embrace your uniqueness and advertise that you are healthy Mexican influenced?
