Excellent Burritos, this spot used to be 24/7 but it looks like they have recently changed their hours. The burritos I have gotten from here are Excellent! They filled with tasty big chunks of vegetables that I have never seen any other place do. Big chunks of onions, green peppers and meat. Very large burritos priced at around 6$ or 7$. Two different people took the order on the phone and when I showed up an hour later as I told them...no order was present. I waited around another 20 minutes and then my food came out lukewarm. Been here twice now and twice I've been very satisfied. The breakfast burritos here are huge. I got the California burrito today with steak which also has fries in it. A little bigger than a chipotle burrito. Runs about $9 and worth every penny. The drive thru is pretty fast, people there are nice. Finally a good fast casual Mexican in the area. read more

Update 3/10/15: made a second visit and have to downgrade. We ordered a steak smothered burrito, a carne asada smothered burrito and a smothered carnitas burrito. The steak had no seasoning whatsoever and the frijoles had absolutely no salt. The carnitas burrito consisted of a tortilla filled with refried beans and some fried pork bits on top. Still love the salsa provided with the chips and salsa but they give u a very small basket of chips and a tiny ramekin of salsa and charge you $2 extra for more. My hubby still likes the breakfast burritos so maybe just for breakfast? Wow! Mexico City fare in Aurora. Food is authentic and awesome. Staff is uber friendly. Had the Huaraches De alambre (diced steak). Glad me and hubby shared. It's a lot of food! read more

Obviously they are still working out the opening kinks but, the food was awesome, everyone is super friendly and from what I could see, food safety and sanitation is actually being practiced(right now). I think they've layed the space out well for how small this joint is. I think they'll add a few more tables(I could see 2tops). Get here and give a try. We went to Fritangas the first week it opened and wanted to give it another try before writing this. On our first visit we found very slow, confused service. The food was decent (even though they brought my hubby a different torta than what he ordered). We went again yesterday for breakfast and again found the service to be slow and confused. The place was about 1/3 full and there were 3 girls serving. We waited close to 30 minutes for huevos rancheros and huevos con chorizo. My potatoes were undercooked and our food was cold. They do not butter the toast so expect a dry half toasted piece of bread. I see potential here if they could coordinate between front and back of the house. Staff needs more training. read more

Was recommended this place by a fellow yelper. Unfortunately I wasn't too impressed with it so far. Granted I've only tried breakfast items so far. This review may change if I enjoy one of their non-breakfast items in the future. The people who work there are exceptionally inviting and kind to their customers. The inside looks very bright and vibrant and includes Mexico City posters. I've gotten breakfast burritos twice here now and neither have been too impressive. All breakfast burritos come with free chile and cheese and are a decent price for the size of burrito compared to most places around here. If you're ordering your breakfast burrito for take out then you can get a coffee to go for a dollar. Which isn't too bad of coffee. I got the machaca burrito and was sad about its blandness. The meat was cooked well and wasn't dried out and you get quite the helping of meat in there which is nice. But it overall was kind of bland, even with the green chile. The second time I got the chorizo and potato burrito since I love chorizo and chorizo is never bland. However I'm not sure if it was just today, but the chorizo was a bit over cooked and was mostly chewy and sometimes crispy where it had cooked too long. The potatoes are the freezer potatoes that are small and disappointing. I love potatoes miss the fact that they used fresh potatoes in everything back home. This is pretty standard in Colorado have potatoes like this unfortunately. Even in some of the popular brunch places. I'm gonna try some of the meals next time and hope that this close to home Mexican restaurant has better lunch/dinner food. read more

Passed by this place for a few months since they opened. Watched the progress of their build out. They did a great job transforming such a small place! Sevice, very friendly and prompt. Food quality, very good. Value of their food, decent! Only reason it's not a 5-star, I don't like Mexican restaurants that do not offer free refills on chips n salsa! $2 for a 2nd basket? Come on!! Plus the chips were very stale and salsa was very watery and weird flavor?! Almost tasted as if it were sour?? But all in all, I'd go back! I can get over the chips n salsa, because service from all 3-young girls was very good and the food has good flavor. For 3 of us to eat, spent $31 including tip... One being a kids plate. The sad part is the food is good, but the people who work here are morons. The first bad experience I had was the waitress charged my card with the wrong bill. So over fifty dollars came out of my debit card when our meal was barely fifteen dollars. They acted like they didn't know how to fix it. The second time we ordered food to go, a number nine to be exact which come with a bean burrito with chicharrones. They forgot the chicharrones.
