I have to say, it has been a LONG time since I've gone to a Froggers location. Not because they're not good, but mostly because it's just been a while. We went there for my sister's birthday last week and man I forgot how good their wings are! I tried all of their dry rubs and they were all very good! Their bleu cheese is AMAZING. My sister always takes the extra home to put on top of steak (yum). The tangers, fries and mac and cheese were good and perfect sides to complement the wings. They can definitely accommodate large parties. We had a party of 14 and they have long picnic tables on one side that worked perfect for us. It appears this place is seat yourself. The space is huge, perfect for sports viewing with screens everywhere. My family in particular was glued to the trivia playing on one of the screens. Our server was fantastic, quick and efficient. This is my first time at this location. We visited Froggers Bar & Grill as a family of four, and unfortunately this was our worst experience there so far. Our server was very friendly, and honestly it looked like he was doing the best he could, but the restaurant clearly seemed understaffed for how busy it was. We waited over an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, part of the order was incorrect. My son specifically asked for a plain cheese quesadilla but received chicken instead, and my baked potato came out without the butter I requested on the side. I've been here several times before and the service has always been on the slower side, but this visit was especially disappointing. Again, the server himself was kind and trying hard, but the restaurant appeared to need more help during such a busy time. The food is likely to be deep fried no matter what you order. You're going to Froggers for good prices, cheap drinks, and to maybe play some darts or pool. They have fantastic drink, beer, and happy hour specials. The food is good munching food when you're having a few drinks. As long as you know what you're getting into, you're not going to be disappointed. OH and the view of the lake is BEAUTIFUL at this location. We have eaten here quite a few times I've taken out pizza to go. It was pretty good. Both my husband and my son loved it. Their Stromboli's are really good. Froggers is the game watch location for Ohio State Football in the fall. I've been going there for several years to watch my alma mater and enjoy the revelry. During the rest of the year, i enjoy going up to the outside bar and chillin' with my pal, Chip. And i can bring my pups - which everyone seems to enjoy! Anyway, they're a typical local tavern with happy hour and beer specials - especially buckets. Food is good - there are many alternatives and they do try to offer healthy alternatives along with the typical bar fare. Their burgers are very good and the wings are prepared very well. I sadly have to downgrade my review for Froggers. I went in 2/4 for lunch and it went completely left. Our drinks came with dark residue/flakes in the cups. We asked to have them swapped 3 times before they were OK. After the 2nd time swapping The waitress made a smart remark saying "Well if you look at everything you are gonna see something" We ordered 15 wings total, 5 of which were suppose to have hells kitchen sauce added minced garlic. The garlic was not added when we received our food. The wings were undercooked to the point were there was blood. We informed the server, and she took off one our orders from the bill. We went to froggers on New Year's Eve because I'm a Miami hurricane fan and I wanted to watch the Ohio vs Miami Game and when I looked online it said they were having a watch party had some specials on there so since it's super close to my new home we decided to uber there so we could enjoy some drinks and food and watch the game. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were seated up close to the big tvs we got there around 630 place had some Ohio state fans. As it got closer to the time of game the place was filled with Ohio fans I thought this was going to be a great night little competition[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . [[HIGHLIGHT]]A gentleman came in also a hurricane fan had a flag and he saw that there was an Ohio state flag hanging up at the front of the restaurant so he decided to put his on the chairs next to it. I was helping him when I was confronted by another customer who was an Ohio state fan saying you need to take your flag down this is disgusting[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . I said ma'am it just a game she said no it's not . I told the older lady to have a blessed night and me and the other hurricane fan went to our tables. Very shortly I looked across the room where the other hurricane fan was sitting and noticed that management was talking to him he was told he needed to take down the Miami flag. I was shocked that this was happening. When I asked for manager to come speck to me after talking to fan he stated he was told to take down because of complaints and that the Ohio fans pay for their flag to stay up. Manager didn't come out he sent someone one else that gentleman was so nice and stated that unfortunately these fans come every year and they are alumni and pay part of their raffle (10% of what they make) to the restaurant so they can be there. I was confused I asked how much I could pay to hang the flag because now it was about principle I was told I couldn't. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Through out the rest of the game we cheered we weren't nasty or rude but the Ohio state fans were. They continued with nasty looks and comments.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now if they had reserved this place for a fee would understand but they didn't advertise that. We weren't told that when they sat us. I will not be going back to this froggers because of the treatment the hurricane fans got. I also would've donated to the raffle if I was able to but since I was hurricane fan I wasn't. Even tho it was going to a scholarship for a student. I believe that if you have fans that are going to be that nasty and management that aren't going to make it equal then it needs to be a private event. It could've gotten really ugly and I'm glad it didn't. I know I'm just one family but I won't be coming back my money spent just like there's my bill was 200 bucks and I left my waitress a good tip because she was great. Be careful eating at Froggers in Altamonte, y'all. Last night was the second time I got food poisoning from eating just the chicken. I should've learned my lesson after the first time. My husband who also got sick last night went to go tell them and ask for a refund a couple minutes ago because I'm still a little sick from last night. He spoke to two managers who were pretty clueless and offered a discount on our next purchase. As if I want to go back again so please beware. I don't want anyone or their kids to get as ill as I am. This location is particularly cool because it has an area that you can sit outside that opens right to the bar. The servers were very helpful at pointing at the napkin holder when I asked about drink specials. The mini corn dogs were super yum and so were my teriyaki boneless wings. Went here on a random Thursday night. The place is really big inside but I can see it getting busy on the weekends. There is a bar area that has a lot of seating. There is seating inside and outside. There is a bunch of games to play as well. There was four pool tables, four darts boards and a few arcade style games. Besides that there are TVs everywhere that plays sports, basically a nicer sports bar! The food is why I would give a four star opposed to a five year. The fries were good and fried pickles! We also go a side order of fried banana peppers that was amazing. The cheese from the pretzel dish did seize up within a few minutes so you would have to eat that really fast. The burgers, both chicken and beef, were tasty and a big size portion for the amount you pay! We sat at the bar so our service was a bartender. The bartender was super friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks bringing sold but we did have to wait awhile for drinks, including water. It was probably my favorite out of all the appetizers we ordered. The wings were good but not my favorite, I liked the hot flavor the best out of all the options we chose. There is so much potential here that is simply missed that it's hard to find a point to start. Froggers has a very nice community that supports their business. The variety of people that go here ranges from family gatherings, to children's parties to groups that play games. It's a very loud place with music playing in the background. It has a variety of games to play from pinball to darts to basketball to video golf and more. I went to this bar in the hopes of catching the opening game of the Stanley Cup Final and while they did have a wonderful amount of TVs and even a large screen projection to watch the game on, they played music instead of the play by play commentary from the station. Fortunately, I had a set of headphones to listen to the radio broadcast to compliment the video feed, unfortunately the radio feed had an 11 seconds delay. None the less, I was interested in seeing what food they had to offer. Now with a name like Froggers you would hope that they had some Florida fare like frog legs or alligator or maybe even some conch fritters. You'd be wrong. Nothing exotic like that, just a standard fare of bar foods. I ended up ordering the Grande Nachos and my standard Bulleit Old Fashioned. Unfortunately they were out of bitters so the Old Fashion was out, so, I ordered a Margarita instead. The nachos were huge with lots and lots of toppings. Believe it or not, I actually needed more chips! A nice change since most places are cheap on the toppings. Not this place! The issue with the Nico's though was that they were served on a paper lining and when you mix lots of wet toppings with paper, things get tricky. I'm fairly certain I didn't eat some of the paper, but, it got really touch and go toward the end with lots of spots ripped and torn. The nachos were tasty with the meat topping carrying a bit of a sweet note to it and lots of nice ground beef chunks throughout. The Margarita was actually very good. I ordered it with no salt and Patron Tequila and the drink was perfect. The sour mix complimented the tequila and it was neither too sweet nor too sour. So compliments to the bartender for mixing a perfect drink. The service here is slow in greeting the customer, but, once my server found me, she stopped by regularly, she kept my drinks filled and checked on me often which was a nice recovery. She was very friendly, talkative and attentive. She did a great job in making me feel welcome and looked after. So, even though there was no sound, the greeting was slow and I probably ate some lining paper, the evening was a success because the Lightening crushed it in game one and my belly was full. For the drinks and a large plate of toppings and nachos my bill was around $40. A fair price. Given that their local hockey team is in the Stanley Cup Final it would have been nice to hear the game and not just see it though. As I said, there is a lot here that could be great, for now it's mostly potential and not nearly enough execution. read more

My husband and I visited this Froggers this past Tuesday evening. It's unfortunate to say that I came down with a very severe case of food poisoning that night and it has lasted for five days so far. I even had to go to the ER and racked up a big medical bill. The chicken wings that I had must have been contaminated or under cooked. We did order to have our wings cooked extra crispy but instead they were very flabby. Which means they were probably undercooked or the sauce used for my wings was contaminated. I've only sat at the bar, and received fast and friendly service. I'm also always surprised that the smoking section (outside but open to the bar through roll up doors) never seems to waft into the restaurant. What kind of voo-doo/Disney magic do they have working here? Nevertheless, I have started frequenting this location over the Apopka location because of the consistency of the food. For my first time at froggers I would have to say that it was really fun and the food was very good. I went with my coworkers for a happy hour. We had beer, appetizers and pizza. Ranging from mozzarella sticks to wings dipped in buffalo sauce. This place is kid friendly even though it is a bar atmosphere where most people come to drink. They have pool tables so when waiting for your food, you can do something to kill time. They also have darts which is very fun and competitive. Overall the food is not overpriced but very good. I definitely recommend to go and give it a try. I would say Froggers is a great place for groups and going to get a drink. This is NOT a place to have a date with your significant other at all. Two visits to this location were both a hit. Both times at the bar, the bartender was friendly and prompt. Drinks/food were quick and - to be fair - a bit better quality than other Froggers locations. I felt like the products were more consistent here. The open-air portion of the bar along the front wall gives it a nice breeze, and you can watch all the sports games on the multitude of TVs. If you haven't been to a Froggers before, get the Froggy Fries/Tots. Amazing! I usually go with the Caribbean Jerk sauce, although I gotta say, while it is tasty - it is not your traditional 'caribbean jerk' flavoring. I don't pick up any allspice, nutmeg, brown sugar, etc. There's some heat there, but not sure if it's a scotch bonnet heat. Probably more of a bbq-buffalo action. Parking is a bit limited on game/event nights, but for a casual Tuesday or w/e you should be just fine. read more
