We started off with cocktails - I got the Brass Bar martini (gin, olive brine, dolin blanc, and orange bitters with blue cheese stuffed olives). It was such a smooth, refreshing drink and I really liked their take on the classic dirty martini. My husband got A Cut Above which is their version of an old fashioned and he LOVED this drink. It has wagyu fat washed whiskey which I've never even heard of before, but it was amazing. For dinner, we started with the beef carpaccio and the bone marrow. They were both good portions for the price and very tasty. The bone marrow was creamy and buttery as it should be. For our main, we decided to share the 14oz NY strip with the au poivre sauce and a side of mushrooms. This steak was well seasoned and cooked to the right temp (med-rare). The sauce made it a bit too salty for me, but the sauce paired really well with the mushrooms. We even had leftovers for the next day. This is definitely a special occasion spot, so be prepared to drop some money. The steaks are pricey, but with the increased cost of beef these days, I'm not surprised.
