The list of issues goes on with this delivery. Truly a mess from start to finish. There was zero introduction or basic professionalism, just a rude attitude and a clear rush to get in and out. It felt like they were trying to cut corners the entire time. This all could've been avoided if they had just done the job properly, like taking the fridge doors off instead of forcing it through. That's literally what I paid for. On top of blatantly failing at their job, they also damaged my house. There are visible chunks of my door scattered across the floor, and the door frame has been broken. Resulting in my screen door not closing or latching. And if property damage wasn't enough, they extended their lack of care beyond my home. The two "workers" tossed balled-up duct tape in the middle of my street, as well as leaving fridge parts in my front lawn. That's just careless and disrespectful. The person I talked to offered great suggestions for trouble shooting my current dryer and even gave me a fixture to experiment with my gas line. December 02, 2025 It's actually amazing that this business is still operating. I would encourage you to look into a well-established business that has a history of positive reviews before committing to giving them $150 to "diagnose" your appliance problem. The first issue I had was scheduling a service call. They didn't show up during the scheduled time which caused me to miss a business opportunity and appointment. When I called them, I was told "we took your phone number down wrong" making it impossible to reach me. Had they actually come to my residence they would have been able to reach me because I was there waiting. After rescheduling, the service tech "Russell" advised that he wasn't sure what was causing the issue with our washer since it actually is still working. He told my spouse that he would look into it and call us back with further information. This call never came. I called several times and eventually went into the store on 84th and explained my disappointment. I was told by the employee there that the first problem was that they sent "Russell" to diagnose the problem. The employee took my information and advised that a supervisor would call me on Monday. Again, this call never came. I called on Tuesday and spoke with Thomas who identified himself as the supervisor. I was told by Thomas that the cost to repair my washer would be close to $800 because the suspension rods needed to be replaced and there was an issue with the circuit board. I asked how he came about this information and he told me he read Russells diagnosis. Russell advised on his initial assessment that he didn't know what was wrong with my washer. My conversation with Thomas remained professional, and I was given the opportunity to purchase a reconditioned washer, and they would apply the $150 I spent for the "diagnosis" toward the reconditioned washer. I haven't decided if I should do this or eat the money spent and buy elsewhere. Food for thought, you might shop around before committing time and money to Front Range Appliances. read more

After following up several times they delivered the stove, when the driver was here he said the stove did not work and they would send a repair man to fix it. well gosh I would have checked Yelp first. I bought a used washer and dryer from Front Range and the initial set I chose was not available. I received a phone call telling me that they would upgrade me for free to a more expensive sets since they had not updated their website and that prior set was not available. I eagerly agreed and received delivery that Friday, the gentleman did leave a small dent in my wall, but were fast and efficient, and informed me that the washer lid did not fit, and it would eventually affect the sensor system. Upon my inspection I did see that the screws were completely out, the washer lid does not seem to be the same lid for that machine (I have to pop it in and readjust with each use), and both machines were incredibly dirty on the inside. I will say that the machines work well and I have not had any issues so far aside from that washer lid. There is a warranty. I have contacted them via phone via email and on the website several times, and their website does say a response within 48 hours. I have yet to receive a response. read more

HORRIBLE!!! I bought a gorgeous, white Kenmore dryer on CraigsList. What was delivered was filthy and had rust inside and out. Plus the drying cycle did not work - took 2-3 cycles to dry a light load. Called Thomas and he promised to replace this disgusting dryer with the one I had ordered. Waited for 4 hours - no phone call. No delivery. Finally - 2 days later - Thomas had another dryer delivered. Looked good; however it is non-functional as well. Terrible customer service. They do have a text bc they've text me from that number, but I Bought a fridge from them recently but its leaking, never responded. We discussed a water leak, he said it would be covered by warranty. I bought a refrigerator from them a few weeks ago. I live in a condo and have a small space for a fridge, so shopped for weeks to find one that would fit the space. Saw one online here and called to confirm that the measurements were correct. Also confirmed that the doors could be swapped as my fridge space is in a corner. They said no problem, so I bought over the phone. Delivery was arranged for a few days later. Called the morning of the delivery to confirm that the doors had been switched. Man who answered the phone seemed confused but said they were. Delivery was scheduled between 10 and 4. Four o'clock came and no delivery and no call. I called and was told the delivery truck had a flat tire and that they would be there by 5. Truck arrived at 5 with 2 men. As they were moving it in, I noticed the doors had not been switched. One of the men said they had forgotten to do it at the store but that he could do it. And he did. But he was not happy with it, said the hinge was damaged (there was a visible gap in the seal near the top) but that he could get another one at the store. He said he would be back in two days. Sergio was true to his word and returned in two days and fixed the hinge and seal. Props to Sergio for doing the right thing. I had noticed that the shelf inside the freezer door was missing. It's not very big, only about 10 inches long, but with a small fridge I need every inch of space. I told Sergio and he said call the store, they probably have one, and he even volunteered to bring it by next time he was in the area! I have now called Front Range Appliance 4 times about the shelf. Each time I have had to reexplain the situation and give the model number. Each time I have been told they would get back to me. Nobody has ever gotten back to me. I wonder if this is what it is like if you have a warranty claim; they just ignore you and hope you go away. I hope that someone hires Sergio away from this place. He deserves better. read more

Thomas the Manager goes above and beyond for his customers and treats each customer like family! He is very professional and really knows the business inside and out. I needed a washer since my washer quit working. When I called Front Range I told Thomas that I was in desperate need for a washer, he jump into action and had one delivered the next day. Since they have such great prices I was able to purchase a dryer too. When the washer and dryer arrived I was so excited how beautiful the pair was. They looked brand new and work beautifully. My clothes have never been cleaner and I am able to get my laundry done very quickly The delivery Team was outstanding! Isaiah, Kenny and Tony where so careful and caring with the delivery, they had to haul units out and put the new ones in. They even hooked everything up for me and made sure it was working before they left.Tony even clean off the snow from and units. Frank their master service technician is a wizard with appliances he came out personally to make sure my washer and dryer were working perfectly after the delivery. Thieves. Stay away. Horrible experience. Rich, the owner, is unethical and his business practices border on fraudulent. I bought a used stack-able washer / dryer unit for $400.00 in the store. Salesman said, "Works great. We tested it." I left feeling good about my purchase. I paid an extra $45.00 for a "full service" delivery. Oh yeah, they don't deliver on the weekends, so I had to leave work early to meet them at my house. I only find this out after repeated calls to the store requesting the unit be delivered on a weekend to avoid time lost at work. I kept on being told, "I need to call the driver. Somebody will get back to you with an answer." Nobody ever called me back. When they installed the unit and turned it on, the washer immediately flooded everywhere. The delivery driver (who was helpful and not affiliated with the company) diagnosed the problem and told me the washer drum had a crack in it. I asked him if it could have happened during delivery and he told me, "no way." I believe him. He took his time installing the unit and I doubt moving it from the store to the truck and into my house (only up two steps) would cause a crack in the washer drum. Bottom line: the salesman in the store lied to me. I called the store later that day and requested a full refund. The person who answered the phone told me he does not have authority to issue refunds and I would have to wait until the next day when Rich, the owner, was in the office. I then followed up with Rich that evening and told him I expect a call from him the next day when he was in the office so I could get my money back and be on my way. Rich replied sure, and told me he'd call me the next day when he got in. The next day came and I got a call from somebody at the store and not Rich - who, the night before told me he would personally take care of my refund. When I provided my credit card number (a different credit card than I had used to purchase the unit - long story) to the guy at the store, he told me he could not issue a refund because it was not the original cc I used to make the purchase. After explaining why I needed to use a different cc, the guy at the store told me he needed to call Rich and would get back to me shortly. Hours go by. No call from Rich or this guy. Rich emailed me and said he didn't know how to issue a refund to a different credit card. That's a load. Businesses do it all the time. Ultimately, I was forced to call the Claims dept. of my current credit card company who assumed management of my previous credit card (used to make the original purchase) and file a dispute. When I contacted them they told me that they changed their policy on the warranty and now it would cost double what it would cost to repair. BEWARE! This place has a BBB rating of "F" for a reason. We purchased a refrigerator from these folks. *Before* we made the purchase, we told the salesman that the fridge had to be delivered to a second-floor kitchen in an old Victorian house with narrow, tricky staircases. We led with this because we knew it might be an issue, and wanted to make sure we didn't buy a fridge that couldn't be delivered. I'm~ 8 months pregnant, so dealing with the moving ourselves was not an option. We told the salesman that we had photos and measurements of both staircases (DETAILED measurements of narrowest point for each, total width, etc., and photos showing landings and angle of stairs). The salesman cut us off and said that if we pay for delivery, "they will get it in." We gave him the address, and he seemed familiar with the neighborhood, which is relevant because pretty much *every* old Victorian in this are has the same kind of staircase. He specified that he would deliver on a Tuesday when he had his "best delivery guys" available. Fast forward to Tuesday. When the delivery guys arrived, they had *no idea* that the kitchen was on the second floor or that it was a difficult staircase. They had been told pretty much nothing. After trying for nearly an hour, they gave up on moving the fridge in. I called the store right away, and was told that they wouldn't refund the fridge EVEN THOUGH they had promised they could deliver. We told them we demanded a full refund and didn't want the fridge. The guy tells us we can only get "store credit" (ha!) and that it's on the receipt. I, as it were, am an attorney and know that (a) a disclaimer like this isn't binding if it defeats the purpose of the contract and is unfair to consumers; and (b) if there is fraud or misrepresentation in the forming of the contract that was material (there was, obviously--we didn't buy a fridge to NOT put it in our kitchen). Unfortunately, I bet a lot of people get strong-armed by this kind of bogus claim, which is a real shame. After the delivery guys had moved the fridge outside, my husband and I stepped away for a moment and, I shit you not, the delivery guys LEFT THE FRIDGE ON OUR FRONT PORCH. Just left it there. The delivery guys were as hoodwinked as we were, so I'm sure this was at the insistence of the store management/whoever. This is some next-level assholery, you guys. Needless to say, we're disputing with our credit card company and will file in small claims court if that doesn't give us full satisfaction. Went to file BBB and Yelp complaints and, lo!, this place has an "F" BBB rating due to 11 complaints, 2 of which they didn't even bother to respond to, and have some of the worst Yelp ratings around. I ordered a used washer and dryer set at 8:30 pm on a Friday. They delivered them on Saturday morning, about 14 hours after I ordered them! Later I noticed a little water on the floor after washing a load of laundry. I called Front Range Appliance and let them know. (They have a 90 day warrantee on their used appliances) They sent a service man out the very next day. He replaced the pump and tested it. It still leaked so he inspected further and found a crack in the tub. He immediately said "We'll have to exchange this washer for you." He cleaned up everything from the service call, and left. Within an hour, Front Range Appliance called me to schedule the exchange, and apologized several times for the inconvenience. I told him that there was no problem and I appreciated their quick response and their commitment to my satisfaction. They asked me to choose a washer from the website to replace the leaking one, and I did. They delivered it the next day and removed the other one. They were very professional and I ended up with an even nicer washer than the one I purchased. I RECOMMEND FRONT RANGE APPLIANCE!!!!!!! I purchased from them because of their warrantee. Other places offer no warrantee and you get worn out crap as-is. Front Range Appliance refurbishes and tests their appliances before selling them, and even if they overlooked something like a small crack in the back of a washer tub that is invisible unless you run a full load of laundry, they still honor their warrantee and exchange it for an equal or better replacement. I'm sad to hear other folks had bad experiences with this place, because mine was awesome. Pete was super helpful straight from the jump. I called looking for a stacked w/d set, and he talked me through all the different options they had available, including pricing, quality, maintenance considerations, and brand reputations. My mom and I tend to be pretty inquisitive, and he held on through all of our questions and "Can you hold on while we chat for a minute?" requests. We'd been calling around Denver metro for days to find a washer/dryer set, and this was the first place that had what we were looking for. They had the set out to us within a few days, and they took awesome care during the set-up. When I called back the next day to share a minor complaint I had with the one of the gentlemen who delivered the set, Pete was totally receptive and welcoming of my feedback. Overall, I had a great experience and will be calling these guys again--no doubt. **It's a little early to tell much on the quality of the appliances. So far, it looks and runs GREAT! I couldn't be more pleased (unless, of course, they were able to install the dryer vent, which I'll have to pick up separately and do myself). I do wish there was more of a warranty, but that's buying used appliances. BEWARE: Consumer Fraud Somehow they manage to get this review removed. Here it is AGAIN: I should have know better than to buy a used appliance. Anyway... Had an older Kenmoore black, stackable front loader washer and dryer. The dryer broke and I figured before I pay a few hundred dollars for repair, I might just peek on Craigslist. Low and behold found EXACTLY the identical one for $200 used from this company: "Mattress and Appliance Center"in Thornton, CO. Perfect! Had appliance delivered, installed it myself and... unit was not working. Ok... happens, called back, was told I had to put it back out curbside, they'd pick it up and repair it. That took almost another two weeks. Brought it back, worked one day and same thing. This time the owner Rich comes to my house, we lift the unit back onto the floor. He replaces the motor AGAIN. Next day, unit not working again. They want me to pull it back out for pick up and repair. I said ABSOLUTELY not! I suggested to replace it with a different unit, no matter what color and brand that WORKS. Several days later they bring me a dryer that is not stackable and hence completely useless for the space I have. Since the owner Rich was at my house he knew there is no way to install a non-stackable unit. At this point I am losing my cool and send the driver back, call the store and voice my opinion in possibly not the friendliest tone. Now nearly two months without a dryer and going to a laundromat . I gave them the opportunity to refund my money for a unit they clearly are incapable of making work. Heck, I would have even accepted a brand new unit with and extra charge had they had the business sense to suggest it. All in all, it's a used appliance. Things can go wrong. HOWEVER, the complete lack and disrespect to customer service and the timeline involved in this process is unacceptable. In the end I was told they would no longer deal with me. Apparently, I was too abrasive over the phone... after struggling with them for two months, that I would need to bring the dryer in, if I want it repaired. Again, I asked for a refund and was denied. It's actually getting worse!! A few weeks ago I received a call from Mattress and Appliance Center asking me to remove my YELP review. In exchange they would pick up the non-functioning appliance and refund my money. Something they should have done in the first place. I was given a four hour window for a specific day. Not to any surprise, nobody ever called or showed up. I received no answer from a follow up email I sent them either. Maybe they were expecting me to remove my review first?? I don't really know. If you are planning to buy a used or new appliance at this "business" I strongly urge you to read other reviews and sections or the Better Business Bureau (bbb.org/denver) I have never in my life experienced anything like this. Please don't make the same mistake. There are great stores with amazing customer service who stand behind their product and make things right. I was shopping around for an appliance as I was in a semi-emergency . I walked in the place and wow.. that's pretty much the word to sum up this place. They have an obscene amount of appliances , yes . They have a lot to choose from ; stoves, fridges, washing machines yes. Immediately I was approached by a guy, who wanted to show me his "sets" of washing machines and dryers. YUCK! I have NEVER seen such nasty, rusty FILTHY dirty appliances..well yes on the hoarders shows on tv. You know, the people who have NEVER in their life been informed about spic-and span or various other cleaning supplies and their wonderful uses. I was shocked in how disgusting their appliances were in the store. I was with a few people, and the guy moved around a few things to open a fridge to show us and the second he opened the fridge there was garbage, literally old rotten food and the smell. It wasn't fresh and you can tell this fridge had been sitting there a while. I asked my boyfriend what he thought of this place and he asked me , and I just said plainly , "everything in here is completely filthy. Look at the rust on this washing machine, look at the dents and look at how nasty everything is" apparently the "sales guy" heard me and was very eager to come over and inform me on how "because it was Sunday everything is looking this way , and how on Sundays blah blah blah and he can clean everything for us blah blah blah" as his bullshit trailed off I just got my stuff and thanked him for his time. I literally say I was there a whole 5 minutes from the moment I parked to the moment we left. This place is a front to rip you off. Their machines are not made to work. Then they send the technician to your house who does nothing. This happened 5 times without the refrigerator being repaired. No that their 90 day warranty has expired the just say bring the fridge in. I. Asked for a refund and they said no I asked for a exchange they said no. If I could give zero stars, I would. Next time I buy a washer and dryer I will just buy one off craigslist. Atleast I might be able to get a year or so out of it, instead of TWO days and now I've spent over $600 on a washer and dryer that doesn't work. This is a gigantic scam. You've been warned. THE WORST!!!!! Unfortunately a 0 star rating is not an option. This place doesn't have the best first impression, but that could be expected from a used appliance place so I am not knocking them for that. We walked in looking for a dryer and stove for a rental property. The stoves they have where filthy but the manager assured us that they had a cleaner coming to scrub the appliances clean. We, very hesitantly, bought the dryer and stove because the manager adamantly stated that they would be spotless and in working order. On they day of delivery, the guys showed up and installed the dryer first and when they where unloading the stove, cockroaches where falling out of it. COCKROACHES!!!! Needless to say, they where not allowed to bring the stove into the property. We tested the dryer and it worked once then broke. Long story short, we are trying to get our money back.
