Boom! This place is awesome....did not disappoint. Swung in for take away and ordered the Chicken Katsu Sandwich, The Avocado toast with ham & egg and the Brekkie for the kids. All of it was delicious. Especially enjoyed the chili jam on the Brekkie. Come support our local businesses...these folks are bold to open a restaurant during these times and they have great food and a beautiful setting. Cant wait to enjoy a sit down brunch in the future at this gem of a spot. read more

Brand new place that is absolutely killing it! My husband and I went to go check out, we each got a brekkie roll which was so tasty and bigger than we thought so it was worth the money. First off, I loved the decor, really cute and open and inviting. Can't wait for a chance to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere to its fullest. I had the smashed avocado toast and loved it. I've had good avo toast in the past, but the pickled veggies added an acidic brightness that really complimented the saltiness and creaminess of the Spanish ham and poached egg! And that wasn't even my favorite thing...the warm, moist banana bread with the maple, brown butter cream cheese was to die for!!! I would eat that cream cheese with a shovel!!! read more

I've been waiting for a place like this to open since I moved to Ventura five years ago! Delicious, fresh, seasonal food with an Aussie/California theme. The restaurant is beautiful, modern, and clean. The service is friendly and wonderful. The food, however, is what really stands out. I've only had the avocado toast, kales salad, and full Aussie brekkie and each are so delicious it's hard for me to branch out! The house made Dukkah is life-changing, and the gluten free bread is seriously like eating pillows from heaven. That sounds weirder/less clever than I intended, but it's true. The full Aussie brekkie is so simple, yet delicious. Bacon, sausage, toast, eggs, and the yummiest potatoes ever. It's funny because my husband and I traveled to Australia before the pandemic and we enjoyed our breakfasts there the most. When this place opened up, we were super stoked and plan to eat there for years to come! Great job, Frontside! read more

Excellent pastries, and the Za'atar Salmon Salad is an absolutely fabulous bite of perfection.

The food and service is A+ every time. My favorite is the Breaky roll or the maple bacon biscuit if I'm on the go.

Brand new spot in town. Checked out their website and Instagram before coming and was able to get a feel for their place. The menu isn't huge but it seems like what they offer- they are making well. Breakfast and lunch with some daily/seasonal changing options. I ordered their breakfast sandwich and it was DELICIOUS. I definitely will try other things but I might be stuck on this for a while. The ingredients all seemed quality. Prices seem similar to other places we've visited with similar offerings. They serve Beacon coffee- which is always good too. For not seemingly having a lot of customers at the time, the wait was a bit long but nothing that didn't surprise me knowing they are brand new and probably still working on flow. It happens. Place looked revamped and nice inside. When allowed again, there was room for about 6-7 outdoor patio small tables FYI. Good walking distance to the beach being on Front. Nice job! Go get the Brekki roll. The jam was so so good. read more

Stunning atmosphere and amazing! Food is fresh local growers's, and beautiful presentation! My favorites is the breakfast avocado toast, add poached egg and prosciutto. The Little Gem salad is my new, lunch favorite and the burger is out of this world! Really, everything we've tried is delicious. This place is fantastic. My only issue is that I got a salad with my meat pie and the lettuce needed to be washed better, I got some gritty dirt or sand in it but not a crazy amount. Their food is awesome and has a good selection of savory breakfast items, which I appreciate. I have had their matcha and an oatmilk latte, and both were so good! I've also have taken my 6 year old nephew and niece here and they absolutely loved it as well ( get your kids the apple juice.. you won't regret it).
