Finally got to try this place! The menu was vast... so many choices! Hamburgers, hotdogs, burritos, onion rings.. even my favorite fried okra! And of course, tons of Icecream...shake options. I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon,a side of okra and a peach shake. The burger was huge.. the pieces of bacon were huge too but I swear it was turkey bacon. It just didn't taste like regular bacon. I didn't know the burger came with " special sauce".... I could've done without that. Other than that, the burger was good. I had fried okra which I order whenever I see it on a menu. There was no seasoning on it or anything to dip it in but it was a generous helping. Definitely needing seasoning salt or something on it! For my shake.. I was super excited to see that had peach flavor. Not as excited after I received it and it didn't taste like peach at all. It was more like a vanilla shake with a little scoop of maybe peach purée in it? There were little pieces of peach in the shake but not enough to call it a peach shake., All in all... I'm sad to say that after a whole year of waiting to try them again, against better judgment, I tried them a second time and it landed me mild food poisoning. I most definitely won't be going back and im standing in my first review of them. Service was great, I'll give credit where due, but the place is still cheap and beat up looking and still looks just like the old Burger King. The service is still not enough to make up for the fact the food sucks. The standard for food in this county is literally on the ground low so I can see why some locals still enjoy it. We were disappointed with Frosty's when we went shortly after they opened and decided to try again, choosing the drive through. The person was not friendly at all, in fact she was rude. Seemed to be the only one handed the window. We waited about 20 minutes for our food. No explanation or anything. She didn't even say goodbye. Very poor customer service skills. The food was better than the last time, especially considering the price. Yet I think when we are choosing to grab something to eat, we will go elsewhere due to the lack of people skills employed. Been here twice this week and I wish I didn't live so far away cause their burgers are AMAZING!!! Staff is extremely nice and service was fast! Stopped in on the way home from my step daughters cross country meet. My husband ordered a pineapple milkshake and curly fries. Nothing remarkable, but not bad either. I ordered a chicken salad and an Oreo frosty. The Oreo frosty was pretty good, as was the chicken salad. However, i had horrible food poisoning the next day. I'm guessing they don't get many salad orders and I got some bad lettuce. Staff wasn't overly friendly but they weren't rude either. Tables were dirty. My wife and I stopped in last night for dessert. We ordered a large swirl in a cup for me and a small Candy Mix-in with Oreo for my wife. The gal taking the order confirmed it before we pulled forward to the window. We paid and then received my wife's item and were told to have a great night. So after an explanation we were told we didn't pay for the large swirl but they can charge the card again and make it. Definitely odd. The sizes were also confusing. Stopped in on our trip back home from New Melones lake. First I would like to point out that they let me bring my dog inside as it was over 100 degrees outside and there is not many, if any dog friendly establishments in town. I promised to keep hertowards the back of the business and away from people, which I did. This act of kindness was a big plus for me. The food servings were huge. So big I only ate half of my curly fries after I killed off my pastrami melt. The selection of burgers and sandos is big as well. Last but not least was the "Energy Drink Freeze". We really wanted to like this restaurant, but were so disappointed. The food was horrible, how do you screw up on a corn dog?? Or a soft serve chocolate dipped ice cream cone?...the ice cream was too soft so the chocolate didn't harden and it was a mess...which I was willing to overlook, but I ended up throwing the whole thing out because the chocolate had a nasty taste to it. This has been a convenient place to stop between the ski area and the Bay Area. The food, for fast food, has been passable.Today is an early day in September. The temperature inside is hotter than outside. The employees should not have to work on these conditions. Same on the management/owners -- it's over 90 degrees in the restaurant. read more

I agree with Michael N who left a review. Pastrami Sammy was awful just dry and nasty. The 2 tacos were also another mystery meat I guess. Tossed those out. The fries and zucchini sticks were edible. Frosty is great, but the young blonde girl they have on drive thru makes me want to reject my order every time. Terrible attitude and a head full of air. Makes ordering a chore, doesn't even try to listen or get an order right. If you're gonna be high learn how to function at work first. This restaurant is poorly managed if managed at all. Staff ignored me for several minutes, walking by with no acknowledgment that I was there. They were more worried about tips than any customer, the two girls just chatted amongst themselves about money. I now understand the reason why at 5:30 pm on a Friday night there was one table with four people and no one at the drive through. Fire your teenage staff, they are ruining your business. Cutting a banana on stainless steel, hands all over the ice cream she was making with no gloves, totally disgusting. One young blond yelled a sarcastic remark to me as I walked out of the door because I asked for napkins and there was none there.
