The flavor of the pizza was good, but the crust honestly reminded me of a cardboard insert from a frozen pizza... there was also so much cheese that every bite the toppings would come off. The breadsticks weren't bad. They were really big but a bit doughy. Needed cooked longer. The staff was friendly and the food came out quick though.

This is a long standing local operation, and it's a breakfast/pizza/bar all in one. We came for breakfast, which was a nice and peaceful vibe, which was greatly needed after an evening of island shenanigans. Food was great/ I loved the health nut plate, especially the chia pudding. My gals enjoyed the eggs Bennie, and the other said the gravy on her biscuits was the best she's ever had! My liver would not permit any breakfast cocktails, but my friend really liked the frostini! Our servers were all great.

We were at Put-in-Bay before the busy season and I think this was the only place open for breakfast. The waitress was very sweet and they had enough options for breakfast, but they weren't able to accommodate my request for egg whites. That's fine but the toast was a little burnt too , so I didn't have the best breakfast. My friend enjoyed his breakfast so all was fine. Next time I'll come when the island has more restaurants open for breakfast.

$19 for those. Fostys used to be traditional. I think we'll pass from now on. F that.

Frostys has been a tradition. I'm from Ottawa county so it's an institution. It used to be the affordable place with terrible pizza that soaked up the days alcohol. Today we went and ordered 1 Busch lite and a Mom water and they told me $18.70. I am used to island pricing but that is ridiculous. I asked the bartender the cost of each drink which totaled about $15 I said so where's that total come from and he said I don't know tax. This isn't the 1st time. Ive been over charged here by the staff. Busch fooking light man! Come on! The novelty can only take you so far.

Bacon egg and cheese on croissant was delicious! Thankfully they served breakfast cause on Monday and Tuesdays , nothing else was open for indoor dining at 8am

If you go to Put in Bay, you have to have Frosty's Pizza, it's like always on the list of things to do. We had a 12" deluxe pizza and three of us shared and still had slices left. I wished the veggies were a little more cooked but didn't stop me from eating it! I also ordered the chips w/queso and salsa. It was good but may or may not get it again. One of our group ordered the Mambo Nachos, or named something like that, and that would have fed our whole table of 5 by itself. Ambiance is always fun and upbeat with a great variety of music. I want to go back for more!

Manager Cara feels texting is more important than servicing her customers waiting in line. She doesn't care about the customer at all.

Service was fast. The food was terrible, asked if they could make a change to a sandwich that I asked to be heated (they assured they could) served it cold. I asked if they could replace the sandwich. Cara the manager denied it. Besides the minor misunderstanding, she was extremely rude and disrespectful, could've handled the situation professionally. My association provides annual business trips to frostys, never experienced this kind of unprofessionalism especially from a manager.

Between the dj and the pizza this place is a winner! We were just looking for some quick food before we started in at the bars... this had both! Was defiantly a good time.. had a dance floor, dj, food and drinks. Definitely had something for everyone. Was a great place to start our night!

Great breakfast . The green chili salsa is a must add - so flavorful with a kick . Service was friendly and prompt and portions generous . The breakfast sandwich and home fries were so good my mouth is watering just thinking about it . Will definitely go back next time we visit PIB

There are much better bars on pib like the boat house and the round house, there pizza tastes like cardboard and there drinks are weak

I am a "cheap eats" kind of person, and quality cheap eats are hard to find on Put-in-Bay, Ohio…read more While on PIB, through Yelp, I found Joe's Bar and Restaurant. Although it's outside the main area of eateries around the docks, I decided to give it a try. Before leaving my room, I perused the menu, and on my walk over, I debated my choices: maybe a hot dog with homemade slaw, or a Southwest burger with chipotle sauce, bacon, and pepper jack cheese. Hmmm... Upon arrival, I asked for a menu, and the bartender slapped a wrinkled one on the bar. The first thing I saw was the "Sloppy Scotty," which the menu proclaimed, "It's what put us on the map!" I immediately knew that was what I had to have. I ordered a Maker's Mark with ginger ale, in which the Maker's Mark was liberally poured, and I sat down to await my meal. Service was quick, and when presented with my meal, the first thing I noted was that the hot dog bun was toasted on the outside. It was still a hot dog bun, but the outside kind of looked like Texas toast--just thinner--with Joe's signature "Sloppy Sauce" applied liberally on top, intermixed with mozzarella cheese, and topped with onions. It looked fantastic and tasted even better. It was absolutely delicious. I had an extra Maker's Mark just for good measure and was presented with a $27 bill. The night before, at a different restaurant, I had a couple of beers and a medium-sized perch plate, which was good but cost me $50. Do yourself a favor: if you find yourself on PIB, drop by the unassuming Joe's Bar and Restaurant to grab a bite. You won't be disappointed.

The burgers are fresh not frozen and are Sooo good. My wife had the Sloppy Joe and she loved it. The prices are great compared to any other place we ate on the Island. I give them a 5 Star +
