I had Jeff & Veronica install a a/c split unit. They were able have an attic access put in my garage as well as an electrician install 220 wiring for the new unit. Carlos was the tech who came out and he was text book .. he did everything just right. Friendly, efficient, kept me informed and explained his work plainly. I had my AC unit inspected and serviced. Carlos found a capacitor that had a low voltage output, showing me the reading from his volt meter, so i had him replace it. No scare tactic to up-sell from my old unit, just an honest minor repair. I have an old ice machine that was not working and tried having a few repair companies take a look at it and they either didn't service it or came out and said it was the circuit card. Not accepting that answer, I was fortunate enough to be put in touch with Frostys repair. Jeff from frostys came out the next day and was in time, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He opened up the unit and within 20 minutes he had it working as if it was right out of the box. First of all I want to say, this company is amazing! Jeff the owner has been amazing. First our heater wasn't working in the winter months. He was able to diagnose the issue and replaced the parts as needed. Then comes the dog days of summer heat in the desert. Last night our air was not working and would not cool down past 83 degrees. We called Jeff and he came out immediately at 8 a.m. the next day. He was able to diagnose the issue and replaced the freon. He was a life saver. We have kids and my wife is 7 months pregnant who needs to sleep cool also to be comfortable. We had a nice cool house by 10:30 am the same day. The owner of Frosty's Heating and Air, Robert Gloeckner, came highly reccomended . I was having a new roof put on and I needed new duct work/AC . Robert came to the house explained what needed to be done and gave me a very competitive price. Not only does he have a good crew that helps him out but he personally oversees the work to make sure that it is done right. He educated me on why things worked the way they did and took the perspective that if this was his home what would he do and why. The roofers accidentally cracked a gas line on top of the roof and Robert quickly came by and fixed the bad pipe so that I could have gas for my water heater. I manage the Best Western Hotel in 29 Palms and I have had nothing but poor and unprofessional customer service and business when it comes to this company. Their the only company able to service the around when it comes to Ice Machines and Refrigerators due to a monopoly. So, you would think they would do everything in their power to make sure there customers are satisfied with the business they prove however, that is not the case. You call them and set up an appointment for them to come out and either they show up late with no word that their going to be, call to cancel last minute, or don't show up at all with no call as to why. They never come with the parts needed to do the job. They want to charge for them coming out to fix what is needed done, yet always lack in what is needed to start or finish the work. Never in all my years of managing have I ever dealt with such an unprofessional group of individuals, and I hate the fact that their the only company able to provide the services needed done on the my property. read more
