Terrible service, extremely rude. I walked up to the counter at 9:20 and employees saw me but no one acknowledged me, they waited until 9:28 and turned the lights off on me without having the decency to even tell me they're closed. Then when I asked a worker what time they close she said 9:30 then I explained I was there at 9:20 and she walked away in the middle of the conversation. After my wonderful first experience with the Yelp Elite event at Frosty's, I was more than ready to go back for their Yelp special. They scored points for creativity: vanilla ice cream fruity pebbles raspberry syrup whip cream and a cherry on top, but this was my least favorite of the specials (I don't care for fruity pebbles). Call me traditional but I just enjoy their toppings. However, I do give their custard 5 stars! I love creamy custards (as opposed to more airy ones) so Frosty's earned my approval! I wish I didn't have to drive all the way to Depew to get it but it's definitely a treat that I may treat myself to once a summer. read more

We paid $14 for two hot brownie fudge sundaes and the brownie's were not hot. As he passed the sundae's to us, I asked the gentleman if the brownies were hot, he sarcastically responded, "No, the fudge is". I usually go to Frosty's multiple times per year and this was the first time I've ever been disappointed. I got a PB explosion sundae, and there was only a tiny amount of toppings and then 3/4ths of the dish was vanilla ice cream. My husband had the same issue with his hot fudge. If they are no longer folding other ingredients into sundaes, I wish I knew, so I didn't pay $6 for vanilla ice cream. read more

Frosty's other location, in Lancaster, has been on my list of faves for a couple years now and, happily , they just opened another location! Another place with another small driveway but.........that means we have two to pick from and it is en route to so many places for me, Yay! If you ask for a medium size cone , you better be hungry, for although they are not bashful with their pricing, they are generous with their servings. As a frozen custard Connoisseur, I do suggest you do not order it in humid weather as it will always affect the dessert. Choose a soda or some hard ice cream instead. Frosty's has many wonderful things to pick from with menus that cover the whole front of their shop. This is an outdoor arrangement with a couple of picnic tables, there are no indoor facilities but well worth the stop. They move fast, do not let the line frighten you, they are worth it! Delicious ice cream! Super friendly folks!!!!! Tried their signature brownie sundae and they told me Mom bakes 300 pans of brownies each season for the sundaes and that they make their ice cream cakes so fresh delicious if you grab one they have on hand, it is most likely less than 3 days old... now that's FRESH! I ordered the baby vanilla cone and a doggy delight for my dog. She loved it so much and ate it in two bites! I liked the custard I thought it was pretty good. My dog and I enjoyed our experience here and I've never seen her so happy. I noticed that there are a lot of perry's ice cream flavors but there's also a lot of other things offered like different types of sundaes, blizzards, dips and sprinkles you can put on your ice cream. Great for vegans & dog owners! Nick who took my cake order is fantastic, he really makes it happen with the vegan ice cream cakes (which taste amazing). He made sure I was happy with my order and went above & beyond to make sure I was able to get it in time. Frosty's Dole Whip is non-dairy and always hits the spot no matter what the flavor of the day is. My boyfriend always gets their vegan Oreo milkshake and loves it. OK, yes there is a ice cream place in every neighborhood and we could even stay home and have a bowl of ice cream in front of the TV. BUT ...... This place is the BEST. Custard vanilla or chocolate so smooth and flavorful and enjoyable and not too sweet. And of course their portions top any other place (even their baby cone is twice the size of many other places regular size cone) and yes their prices are spot on! We live a bit of a drive from Frosty's, but its always worth the trip. Wish they were open year round! read more

They have a vast selection in Perry's hard ice cream flavors, as well as, other options of soft serve, milkshakes, sundaes, etc. We even got our pup something off the menu: "Doggy delight", which was a small cup of vanilla ice cream with a couple of dog treats. I ordered a "small" ice cream in a dish -- it ended up coming out so large and piled high, I had to inquire about the large. They told me the large would be two scoops more!! Mine was so big I kept it in my freezer and ate it over the course of 3 days! For a "small" ice cream, a cookie blizzard-milkshake thing (sorry, can't recall the menu name), and a doggy delight it came to $9 something. Fantastic! My daughter and I were ahead of schedule to pick my wife up at the airport; looking for a quick treat we searched "ice cream on Google Maos and this was only a few minutes away. Pulling in the parking lot it appeared to be a fairly typical ice cream stand, but cleaner / more "put together" than most. We encountered a huge selection of flavors and options (cone, sundae, shake, swirls, etc) at the outdoor order window. The staff was prompt and friendly. We both ordered medium cones; again we were simply looking for a quick treat...THEY WERE HUGE...a small or baby cone would have done the job. The ice cream was great too. Frosty's is approx 20 minutes from our house but we are planning on returning because it was that much better (service, selection, staff) than the places near us. They have some specialty sundaes that sound unique and amazing too. It's refreshing to encounter an establishment that exceeds expectations! read more
