    Bottomless mimosas

I absolutely loved my chicken and waffles and my boyfriend had the lobster basket so good bottomless mimosas 12 bucks worth the stop !!!!!

Let's talk about "FROZEN PARADISE"!! When I try a new spot these are things that I look for... *Good Parking *Drink Specials *Food/Food Specials *Atmosphere/Music *Customer Service "WHAT'S GOOD": I actually commend the customer service of the staff & bartender there, they did everything to welcome me and made me feel like they wanted my business. The second thing that was really enjoyable was "THE FOOD"!! I really enjoyed the wings and the Red Beans & Rice were amazing!! So go for the food, get it go and enjoy the hospitality if you stay. "WHAT'S BAD": *Atmosphere-For some reason in this little small place, they choose to "BLAST"the music so loud that your ears hurt, I mean you can't even hear the person literally sitting next to you. When music is that loud you can't really enjoy listening to it or conversation with anyone else in the joint. *Parking-It Sucks!! Much like on the Almeda side, you are going to have to find street parking, walk a few blocks or pay someone at one of the lots for a spot. *Drink Specials-On a Sunday this is "NOT"‍ the place you wanna be for good drink or find any drink specials for a Sunday Funday!! Every frozen drink was $14 dollars(WHY)?? Every other drink was $10 dollars (WHY)?? Apparently they are not aware that SPIVEY'S next door is selling $5 you call it & that made the "MATH" real simple & and all I could think was "CAN I GO NEXT DOOR TO BUY A DRINK & BRING IT OVER"??‍ So there are definitely issues that Frozen Paradise could address to better themselves, but the food and staff are great, but the drink specials, loud music & parking could all use some "TWEAKING".

If you're looking for a Sunday Funday spot this it, not a huge spot but the owners make you feel welcomed when you come. The food is good and the drinks are amazing we normal get the Jay and Bay which is a nice strong drink, every third Sunday they have a live band which is a must.

A few of my family members stopped by this spot to get a taste of paradise to cool us off from this Texas heat and they did not disappoint.

Feels good when an establishment takes pride in their customer's feedback and puts a plan into action. Honestly, part of me was hoping that last time was just a fluke or an off day. This time around, everything from the service to the food was great. We had a 12:30 Sunday reservation for two and opted to sit inside this time. We ordered the cast-iron cornbread, chargrilled oysters, and a cup of gumbo each to start. For entrées, I had the Gulf Fish, while my husband went with the crawfish Florentine. Everything came out beautifully timed, almost like a perfectly paced three-course meal, which obviously made the whole experience feel elevated and relaxed. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and on top of everything without being overbearing. I also tried the prickly pear aid (non-alcoholic), and it was super refreshing, definitely worth ordering if you like a little tartness to cleanse your palate. Overall, this visit felt like a completely different experience than last time. It delivered the elevated experience a place like Eunice promises and what I was used to originally. Looking forward to celebrating my birthday here in June!

Unfortunately, the overall dining experience was disappointing due to both the service and the food quality. Our server was very slow throughout the evening. After ordering cocktails, it took approximately 20 minutes for them to arrive. We then ordered our meals... I had the burger and fries, while my girlfriend ordered the shrimp and grits. Both dishes were noticeably over salted. After finishing our meals, we waited an additional 15-20 minutes just to receive a dessert menu. Eventually, we decided not to wait any longer and went to Dessert Gallery down the street instead. While the atmosphere and appearance of the restaurant were excellent, the slow service and food issues negatively impacted the experience. Based on this visit, I would likely not return.

When we arrived, the host let us choose where we wanted to sit. I originally spotted a cozy booth by the window, but since we were asked if we'd like to sit where we could watch the TV during the Cup match, we opted for one of the high-top tables instead. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake because there isn't any lighting at the high tables. We could barely see our food. Adding pendant or drop-down lighting above those tables would make a huge difference. If you plan to visit, I'd recommend requesting a regular table or booth for better lighting. The menu is definitely unique, though I found it somewhat limited compared to other seafood restaurants. To start, I ordered the roasted oysters while my friend had a dozen raw oysters with all the traditional fixings. The roasted oysters were delicious, but there was so much topping that it almost took the shine away from the oysters themselves. Next time, I'd ask for lighter toppings and no scallions. For my entrée, I had the Halfshell Grilled Redfish. The fish itself was cooked beautifully--moist, flaky, and perfectly prepared. The only downside was the chermoula, which leaned far too heavily on the citrus. The lemon flavor completely overpowered the fish. As my side, I ordered the Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo. Unfortunately, it had a distinct burnt taste, which made it seem like the roux had been overcooked. A good gumbo should have a deep, rich flavor, but this one was overshadowed by that burnt note. My friend ordered the Jerk Fish Collars, and we both agreed they would have been much better if the fish had been marinated to allow the jerk seasoning to really penetrate. I also ordered a Lemon Drop Martini, and I have to admit I was surprised when it arrived in such a tiny martini glass, especially considering the price. Overall, the quality of the seafood is evident, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. I think a few adjustments to the lighting, better balance in some of the flavors, and more attention to details like the gumbo and cocktail portions would elevate the experience even further. I'd definitely return to try more of the menu and hope for a more polished experience next time.

Inside it's a nice restaurant with an upscale feel to it. I ordered a house salad for $9 to start and the Pasta Rosa entree for another $28. The salad arrived first with a generous amount of romaine lettuce with diced tomatoes, cucumber, shredded carrots and chopped eggs on top. With my chosen ranch dressing it was a good tasting salad. The Pasta Rosa dish had sliced Parmesan strips on top of penne with shrimp, crawfish and sausage for the protein with mushrooms and a tomato cream sauce. This meal initially tricked me. My first impression was that while there was plenty of protein the taste of the tomato cream sauce was lacking some flavor. I expected more. However as I kept eating and getting beyond the top layer of the food the flavor increased significantly. I think that the proteins caused the sauce in the lower half of the dish to create more punch. This dish got better and better and I changed my mind. It turned out to be a very good tasting and filling meal. Finally the table service was very good too. P.S. I also tried part of another appetizer which was the bar b q shrimp for $16. They were tasty. I like Rouxpour and would return. My only negative is that their prices are a little on the high side in my opinion.
