Do not order from this local place they are rude and refused to talk to me or get me a manager! We ordered from door dash to be picked up and delivered to us at 3:54 at 6:15 after the delivery person had been there since 4:45 to pick up our order we were told they "couldn't help us we are working on orders from 4:30 still" when trying to explain my order was place at 3:54 the rude worker just walked away! Our poor driver who had now wasted almost 2 hours of working time was not able to make any money because the restaurant is inept at preforming their job. This is the most unacceptable behavior I have ever experienced. With all the local places struggling to stay in business and to be treated like this from a local restaurant is terrible. They have lost my business I could care less if they survive this it would serve them right for being rude to customers! And if I could give them 0 stars I would this place has the worst customer service ever!! read more

Worst service!! I wouldn't even give it 1 start!! I will never go there again! First of all my 15min wait turned into 30min. Second No drinks, No utensils were brought to the table. Third, a family was seated next to my table and got VIP treatment. I went over to talk to the hostess, and ask for my waiter while 3 employees standing there not doing anything. Maybe not as consistent as if like it to be, but I've had their Alfredo fettuccine and felt the Alfredo sauce to be to thin and lacked flavor. They also use to have Italian Beef on the menu which they stopped serving. I told my self that I wouldn't come back here. For some reason, I decided to come back and ordered their spicy Italian sausage ravioli with Bolognese Sauce and I gotta tell you, that is a must try. This was my first time ever trying this place, and I absolutely loved it! I ordered the house cab (which was delicious and not too pricy, which makes me want to come back again even more) and my boyfriend got their Long Island, which was also very good. Dinner was Chicken Parmesan(I substituted fett Alfredo instead of their garlic mashed) for me, and crab & shrimp ravioli for my boyfriend, and it was so yummy (in my opinion the best chicken parm in town)! Our server, Richard, was also very kind, and attentive: the moment I thought about wanting another glass of wine *poof* there he was offering it! The last time I ate there will be the last time I eat there. I ordered my favorite dish, Garlic Chicken Fettuccini. I was so disappointed. The noodles were a little TOO al dente!! And the sauce, what there was of it, was so bland! It was really dry. I think I took 3 bites and decided it wasn't worth it. The service was great. The atmosphere is nice. Prices are .. ok. Me and a friend visited Frugatti's Tuesday after work. We were ordering something to go because we were exhausted and had to get back to the hotel to relax. We walked in and this place was amazing inside. It had tons of fun decorations, Italian sayings written on the wall, and just looked like a fun place to be. We both ended up ordering the Nonni's Pasta Al Pomodoro (which is a specialty my Italian grandmother makes and my favorite dish at Cafe Luccio in Santa Cruz). Pasta al Pomodoro is pasta with light olive oil, garlic, steamed/diced tomatoes, and fresh basil... pretty simple. The meal was very flavorful and was steaming hot when we got back to the apartment. There are a few things that keep me from giving this a 4.... number one.. its supposed to be angel hair pasta number two.. no fresh basil in the dish and finally there was too much olive oil residue at the bottom which did not look appealing and didn't taste good!!! Oh.. and the bread roll was FANTASTIC. Seemed homemade!!! Overall, I might go back when I am in town on business but alot of people told me to try Urrichios! So we shall see... read more

I am from out of town and I love this place! Everything is fresh and flavorful. I went here on a Friday night with my best friend and it was awesome. There was someone playing an accordion and it was quiet and relaxing, despite the fact that it was kind of busy. I love the fresh bread they give you for the table. Great with oil and vinegar! Or oil and parmesan cheese. He got the shrimp Alfredo pizza and it was amazing. The peppers definitely make it! The pesto/cheese bread is also delicious. Came here with my husband. The waitress was friendly and checked up on us often. I ordered the clam chowder soup which I was disappointed with. The soup was lukewarm at best and was mostly potatoes. I had to ask the waitress to heat it back up and even then, it still wasn't hot. My husband and I both ordered from the baked pasta section. I got the baked Ziti. It was yummy and the price wasn't too expensive. My favorite though was my husband's dish. He ordered the baked vegetable lasagna and that was delicious! For dessert, we had the chocolate cake. For the price we paid, it wasn't worth it. The cake wasn't moist, and I'd even say it wasn't fresh either. If I were to dine here again, I wouldn't order the soup or have dessert. Prices here are pretty high. The location of this restaurant makes it hard for patrons to enter and exit the parking area. read more

Great restaurant for years! They are getting 3 stars due to our server Victoria. We are still here waiting for her to bring the check. Party of 10 and she could not keep up with our table. We had to go to the counter to ask for dressing that was not brought with our meal! She never followed up. We had to wave her down every time. Excellent food great atmosphere. Went here on a Saturday night and there was no wait time. Our server greeted us right away and got us our drinks, we order the crab cakes as an appetizer and they were amazing! It had a wonderful sauce to go with it as well. For our main course I ordered the lamb and my husband got the lobster ravioli. The time we waited for our food was excellent! The lamb was very good, it had a good crust and the seasoning was perfect I will definitely be back just to have that lamb again. My husbands raviolis were great as well. I ordered dinner for my family online for pickup. I placed the order at 7:15pm on 7/2/21 and the website said the food would be ready in 45 mins. My dad went to go pick up the food at 8pm and when he asked was told the food is not ready. He had to wait another 45 mins. I don't think we will be ordering from here again. read more

I love Frugattis it's my favorite place for Italian food hands down here in Bakersfield. I went in last night for dinner with a friend, I had there eggplant parmigiana and it's was delicious it comes with a side salad, fettuccine Alfredo and stuffed mushrooms. My friend had the roasted red pepper pasta dish again delicious. We always have good costumer service. The waitress that helped us last night was pretty awesome she was on top of it. I didn't get her name, because my friend paid the check, but she had a rocking haircut. I recommend Frugatti's to anybody. read more

Towards quarter three of last year, we vowed to stop eating at the same places and get out of our "comfort zone" to try some new places with different types of food. So we went to Frugatti's and have really enjoyed this Italian Restaurant. Parking is good outside, plenty of spaces in this plaza. We usually eat during "off" hours, waiting has been kept to a minimum. The menu-damn!! First time I looked at it I was intimidated, so much sounded good, and we can only try this food two dishes at a time. We stuck with something we knew about, and split spaghetti w meat sauce adding meatballs to be split and a pizza to share. The combo pizza was as good as we have had anywhere, and the spaghetti dish was very good as well. We took pizza home. Also we have tried the seafood a couple of times. Scallops over Linguine, and Shrimp Scampi over Fettuccini have been wonderful. The shrimp are very large, and the fetteccini is served with a creamy sauce. Scallops are great too, and the linguine is served with some light sauce with some asparagus and spices. Very light and fresh. My wife is mostly vegetarian, and once tried the Zucchini Mushroom Lasagne, she thought it was good too. We will continue to come here, and work our way thru the menu, there is so much we have not tried. The place is clean and the service is very good. My wife likes this place very much so much she says she can't wait till we can come back. read more

That is, I could have made the shrimp fettucine alfredo in my own kitchen along with the bruschetta and the chicken salad that I got. But the vibe of the place is very cool. There was an accordion player who was very Italian. I think he only spoke Italian, it seemed. A little overpriced at $25 a person when you consider that you could easily make the same thing at home. it's okay. there are so many people and it's so crowded. we had to park down the street at the Hyatt Hotel parking lot and hope that we wouldn't get towed, there is absolutely not enough parking space for the restaurant (this was after hours for all the other storefronts!!) the booth my friends and i were seated in sank soooo low and the table cloth and booth was full of holes. HOWEVER !!! the redeeming grace was the service and food. our waiter was so rad!! he was chatting us up. asking what we're celebrating. the bread is SO GOOD (or was i just starving ? we waited for a long while for our food). the espresso martini was very yummy, but my showstopper was the butternut squash ravioli it was SO GOOD. buttery, creamy, and has a bit of the taste of the holidays. very warming. also the minestrone soup was very good. oh and just make sure you make a reservation. i've been told many times at the door it's a two hour wait. read more
