There isn't a ton of seating so be prepared to take food to go. And when sitting be prepared to be eating near a line of customers lol. We'd walk here for a quick midday date between classes or after class before practice, and it's such a nostalgic spot for us. We still see the same cashier we saw 12-13 years ago when we were students, and we always end up chatting with her I forget her name but she's the sweet blonde who has worked here foreverrr. My fiancé is very simple and sticks to what he knows his go to is the teriyaki chicken burrito with fried rice. I, on the other hand, love trying different things and adding extras. One of my favorites that they helped me create is a beef teriyaki burrito with shrimp added in & it's so good. I also love their teriyaki beef avocado sandwich on artisan bread. The French fries are always cooked perfectly crispy, just how we like them. Now my son is a fan of crunchy fries too, and he loves coming here just for them. The only downside is that sometimes their hours don't align with our schedule but that's not their fault. We just love this place so much that we try anyway, even if it doesn't always work out. Tried FB again after many years. You always hear people rave about this place and I'm never quite sure if it's the burgers, the burritos, or just the overall vibe that gets everyone excited. I went with the teriyaki chicken burrito and added avocado after seeing how well it's reviewed on Yelp. Big chunks of chicken, good fried rice inside, and the teriyaki sauce was solid. Overall, it was a pretty good burrito. Not my favorite thing in the world, but definitely fun to try and satisfying. Inside is cool with good service and an old school look and feel. I think part of the appeal is that it sits in a pretty junky strip mall, so people are pleasantly surprised when they walk into something more decorative and unexpected. That said, it's still very much an old school spot that's been around a long time, and clearly a lot of people love it. For me, it was decent. fuji burger was so good, but that was back in 2010/2011. i remember coming here often to enjoy a few staples: either a bacon burger or teriyaki burger, sweet potato fries, and potato salad. the burgers patties were thin but freshy cooked and bathed in gooey american cheese, enhanced with a distribution of fresh lettuce, tomato, and pickles. the sweet potato fries were crispy, sweet, and well-salted. the potato salad was chunky, creamy, mustardy with a lot of texture and flavor. i came here on saturday with my husband and our friend and i found myself so confused - the atmospheric sounds of grilling and frying i heard from the kitchen did not match the meal i received. i ordered a bacon burger with pickles, a small side of sweet potato fries, and a small side of potato-mac salad. the good: the best part of my meal = the sweet potato fries. just like i remembered, the spears were crispy and sweet and well-salted. 11/10, absolutely awesome. the bad: the burger was a desert, begging for any sort of sauce or moisture. maybe that's my fault for not getting the teriyaki burger? my husband got the double teriyaki burger that came with pineapple. he said that teriyaki sauce and slice of pineapple were the only thing that saved his burger; the moisture and flavor was needed. the bacon on my burger was inconsistent as if it came from two different batches of cooking; the first few bites with bacon were tough and dry. the remaining bacon was coiled towards the last bite into a pile that was very chewy. the patty itself was just barely warm. despite the sizzle-sounds from the kitchen. i don't have any issue with the 1/5lb thin-ness of the burger, but i do take issue with the lack of freshness and the bacon. the ugly: the potato-mac salad. oh my god. what a fall from grace. the potato salad at fuji used to be on par with something you'd find at a southern bbq lunch pit stop. this current version, the potato mac salad... curious contractors need to know the secret behind this concoction because it could have laid brick. there was one texture to the whole tub and the texture was like canned duncan hines icing. it was more akin to room-temperature mashed potatoes mixed with carrots and macaroni noodles. the sugar hill gang could have easily fit this dish into "rappers delight". i can barely speak to the flavor as there was almost literally none. it's a big pass for me. and you can find a better burger in hb, like tk burger or grinderz. read more

I ordered through UberEats and got their avocado teriyaki burger and their teriyaki bowl. When I went to pick it up, it was a bustling, little restaurant that was lively and welcoming. Pick up was easy and fairly quick considering there was a line of guests waiting for their orders as well. The burger was definitely the highlight from my order; the buns were soft and pillow-y, the beef was incredibly tender, and the avocado was just the right ripeness. The teriyaki beef bowl, on the other hand, definitely felt like more of an afterthought than a fully realized meal. While it wasn't terrible, it did not live up to the burger as the meat was a little chewy, the flavor wasn't quite there, and I felt between the beef and the rice, something was just missing. The teriyaki sauce did little to help the rice bowl. All in all, I would recommend giving the burger a try. It's a pretty good burger from a quaint little shop, and I'd definitely think it's worth a visit. read more

What a disappointment. We came because Instagram made the terri burger and katsu sandwich look incredible... and it ended up feeling like influencer hype more than reality. We ordered the katsu sandwich, the terri burger, and the terri beef sandwich. The katsu sandwich that looked thick and juicy online was flat and skimpy in person. The terri burger was the thinnest beef patty with a sauce that tasted nothing like teriyaki. The terri beef sandwich was especially confusing -- we asked if it was served hot and were told "warm," which should've been our clue. It ate like a roast beef sandwich with a bland sweet sauce and was neither hot nor cold, just... warm. Our stomachs didn't feel great afterward, and we won't be back. If you're expecting Japanese or Hawaiian flavors, you won't find them at Fuji's -- at least not in the items we tried. Icing on the cake: we walked in around 6:30pm (they close at 7). While we were still eating, the employee put chairs up around us and started sweeping the floor. Dry, tasteless, mushy rice, and bland Teriyaki sauce which seemed like it was watered down and full of corn starch. The potato salad was actually pretty good, but failed to make up for how disappointing the meal was overall. I took four bites , let my dad finish of the rest of the potato salad, debated bringing home the rest to my brother, but then realized I wouldn't wish that on him. I order the Teriyaki Beef fries again, really did not realize the great price for the amount of food. A lot of times I can get two meals off the large fry and it's only like 9.55! I think one thing I wish I could change was having the sriracha with the green top instead of the yellow... really just nitpicking but I think the flavor goes better with the meal. The teriyaki still have a great flavor, the meat is well-cooked and the fries were plentiful! Bummed to be writing this because I've been coming to fujis for years. The last few times of coming in it seems like the cashier is annoyed or bothered. Walked in an hour before they closed to get food to go and the cook was kind to say "we'll be right with you" but the cashier on the other hand seems as if I've inconvenienced her?.......walks up from the back, no smile, no 'what can I get you today?' just staring and waiting for me to say my order.
