My friend took me here as I was visiting Seattle! I took a look at the menu the day before and loved the specialty coffee menu that they had-- it was really extensive and super unique. I applaud this breakfast sandwich just from pure heft alone. Like she is huge and they definitely don't skimp on that biscuit, which I thoroughly appreciated being from NYC and being used to Starbucks giving me the absolute tiniest breakfast sandwich ever. Though I liked the size of the sandwich, this definitely gave "frozen and thrown into the microwave." I felt like it was barely warm enough, and the elements inside didn't taste fresh. The biscuit, though it did the job, tasted on the drier end. The iced pistachio latte was fine enough in that it was nutty, but I didn't get PISTACHIO from it. I visited Fulcrum Cafe in Belltown just to purchase fresh coffee beans. The cafe was cute, modern, gave you a home like vibe. If I lived nearby I would definitely be a frequent visitor. In addition to the beans I purchased a spinach croissant as well. They asked if I wanted it heated up which I took them up on. I watched as the baristas took the item out of the warmer and let it sit out for quite awhile until the cashier who took my order finally grabbed it. Although I had been making a point to experience the speciality coffees at each cafe I visited, I don't go for these drinks normally as I often find them to be overly sweet. I was bracing myself for a dessert coffee experience so I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that this drink is not that sweet at all. The sesame could've been more pronounced but it was enough for me to detect its nuttiness that made my hot latte even more warm and comforting--definitely an aptly named drink. I liked this so much that I will be on the lookout for it back at home. In addition to the sesame latte they have a ton of other unique drinks. I got an espresso with their seasonal blend - a light roast. At the time of ordering, the barista was helpful in detailing the different season blends they had which was helpful during the ordering process. I'm not a big coffee person but the drinks here seemed unique so I decided to try it out. I ordered the cream of pistachio iced since it was hot out. The coffee itself was good and not watery but although I could see pistachio fragments at the bottom, I couldn't really taste much pistachio. My total came out to $7.72 for the 16oz which is definitely a bit pricy.
