I cannot sing the praises of Full House enough. I have a lot of experience with Filipino food, and you really have to impress me to make sit-down Filipino dinner prices worth it when I can get good quality steam tray fast-food at half the price at home. Full House impressed me. They haven't gone full fusion like some other places, but the flourishes on the dishes are unique enough to make me want to come back. Their bagoong fried rice with lechon was great, as was the halo halo. I enjoyed the bangus even though the recipe was pretty standard; the quality of the fish itself was impressive enough to make the dish worth it! The standout was the sizzling beefsteak or bistec, perhaps the best version of Filipino beefsteak I've ever had! At times, the service can take a while if it's busy, but at the most recent time I went, the food, service, and overall experience were great!!! Favorite things to order here are the Crispy Pork Belly Lechon Kawali and the Oxtail Kare-Kare. Both are absolute chef's kiss! The restaurant itself is pretty small, but the layout is very cute! Things I've ordered in the past were the Full House Trio, the Lemongrass Beef Sirloin, and the Bangus Sisig. The Full House Trio is yummy, but I feel that it is not enough to share for 4 people. The Lemongrass Beef Sirloin was not a favorite; I just felt that it didn't have that much flavor compared to traditional Filipino dishes. Never got to try the food because we listed our name at the front and they sat the people who came 30min after us. (Same amount of People on our party) What's the point of listing people if they don't honor it. I was wondering how we never got seated only to find out they sat the people who came after us already at the back, yes I walked back to see they sat them before us. I wouldn't have mind waiting for 2hrs but the fact that they sat them before us really threw me off. I suggest honor the system if you're going to implement one. No apologies given. Super excited to try this place. We are So disappointed with the taste and a little bit on a Pricey side. The waitress is nice she gave us tiny cup of water and took along time to serve the foods and have to get staff attention to get refill for our water. The food presentation is on point but the taste is way far from Filipino authentic food. The pinakbet taste like steamed veggies, no fish sauce or shrimp paste, very bland and have to send it back to the kitchen! The halo halo ice is very hard, the ingredients are frozen and I believe they pre-prepared everything and put on the freezer that's why the ice on halo halo and the ingredients are all frozen when they served it on our table. Per request of out of town guests, we chose Filipino for tonight's dinner. Reservation is highly recommended especially when you are at least a group of 6+. The place itself is a little small but decorations are cute. Service was ok and the servers try their best to be as quick as possible that you really have to chase free them especially when the place is filling up. There was a swamp cooler but it was still kinda hot in some parts of the restaurant that you are not near the cooler. It is almost summer and this is Vegas. Food that we found great were the kare kare (but bagoong was not great) and boneless Bangus. It was an ok size and fried well. Pork sugba had more side veggies than meat - would've been good with the side vinegar. Food we ordered that was not as great are sinigang pork (the soup has lemongrass) not good for our taste. Pinakbet had burnt bits of something. Pancit bihon had a fried egg on top (weird) and some of the veggies on it were still tough and it had huge slices of mushrooms that were also tough. My cousin and I were excited to have some Filipino Food and enjoyed Full House BBQ. It's what they call elevated Filipino-Asian Fusion. They have classic Filipino dishes and other fusion items, they have a varied menu. We started with the Lumpia Shanghai which was delicious, crispy goodness with cool presentation on a Jeepney, popular vehicle in the Philippines. I've had this bookmarked because of their flaming halo halo! Since we were in town, we finally got to try this place. It's located in a big plaza so there's plenty of parking. The restaurant wasn't too big, so it might be a little challenging for big groups. Luckily they weren't busy, so we were able to be seated right away. The servers were so nice! Ok Hmmmm, I really wanted to give them 5 stars, but I wasn't too impressed. We ordered the appetizer trio. It was just ok. Presentation was nice but I've had better lumpia. Fried siomai was better, but again I've had better siomai. I was sad about feeling this way. Everything just tasted the same - just fried. We also ordered oxtail Kare-Kare. It was good, tasted like home. I wish they put a little more oxtail in there. For the price, you would hope the meal was heartier. Pork sisig - hmmmm it was missing something. It wasn't crispy and the flavor just wasn't there. The rice was hard! Like they gave us the bottom of the pot or something..... again, so sad. Service was welcoming. They're super nice & friendly. They were busy, so I understand if they couldn't check on us every so often. It took sometime for my son to get his meal and to get the check. Flaming halo halo - presentation was fun! It was so stuffy that I became lightheaded and felt like I might faint. I asked a staff member if they could turn on the AC and was told there isn't one. The co-owner who happened to served us was very friendly and you will definitely feel the Filipino hospitality. She kept checking on us and made sure we were good the whole time. I went to full House BBQ in the Smith's shopping center off Maryland Parkway and the southeast part of town. My pallet was not disappointed. The food was delicious! I had ponds set for a main course with shrimp, chicken, beef pork, and it was delicious. For dessert we had a deep fried banana with caramel sauce and honey and it was crunchy and delicious. Serve served with ice cream. Not sure what kind of ice cream it was, but in the potato family, but kids do not don't let that fool you, that was delicious. The service was phenomenal. Our server named SHAI was the sweetest could be and helped us make our decisions with our dessert and explains the menu. The ambience was quaint not quite gigantic with nice lighting. The halo halo which we took home and I ate before bed must have a spoilt or expired ingredient for I think the sugar has mask the culprit that you can hardly taste the bad ingredient where it has maybe 10 individual ingredients I just think they should check all the expiration do a taste test daily or atleast once a week so this kind of thing would be avoided: this halo halo dessert made me hurled my guts out 4x through out the night.
