Came here twice and enjoyed our meal both times. This is a small shop restaurant with a few chairs to sit on inside and 2 tables outside. NOTE: If you sit outside, there are homeless people. The inside was very cold to me because the portable AC was blowing right onto the table and chairs. If you're going to get empanda's go on the right side of the register and pick your items. Order at the counter, pay for your food and wait. We waited about 10-15 minutes for our food. Great selection of empanadas and breakfast dishes. Food: Topsilog (Tapang Taal) with Garclic Fried Rice & Sunny Side Eggs Longsilog with Garlic Fried Rice & Sunny Side Eggs House made Ilocos Longanisa with side of pickled papaya. The longanisa was yummy and cooked perfectly. I'm not a fan of the vinegar they have but I corrected that by bringing my own vinegar. :) The topsilog has got to be the best I've ever had. The meat is so tender. I think the garlic rice is just okay in my opinion. I also tried the Sisig Empanada which was okay. Overall, great spot and I'd try the other empanadas. So many selections but I'd definitely return for the topsilog.

Casa de Empanada by Aling Kikay makes amazing Filipino food and incredibly delicious Empanadas! They're easy to find on Tropicana and Pecos, next to Taekwondo. There's ample parking. Inside is small with limited seating of four tables and the place has good AC. Menu offers a nice selection of fried and baked empanadas, a la carte, combo meal, pastries, signature drinks, refreshers, blended tea, fruit tea, and halo-halo. I ordered Longsilog ($15.95) with over medium eggs. Their longganisa is so unique and delicious! It's housemade ilocos longganisa, savory and garlicky, very moist and tender, served with a side of pickled papaya and housemade sweet spicy vinegar, it's really good! Also got Empanadas, I opted for three pieces ($14.92) and chose Baked Chicken Mushroom, Baked Spinach & Artichoke, and Baked Spinach & Ricotta, each one is generously filled and has great flavor! If you purchase three empanadas, it includes a complimentary drink. The drink choice is Dalandan (less sweet), Lemon Cucumber (very sweet), and Calamansi which has a lovely sweetness and refreshing! For treats, they have an an amazing variety including choco flan, ube flan, leche flan, mini assorted ensaymada, sans rival, silvanas, and ube crinkle cookies. There's also raspberry bliss jam, sugar & spice jalapeño jam, and Dubai style kunafa pistachio chocolate ($15.99) for purchase. I went with Ube Crinkle Cookies ($6.17), so light and tasty! The cookie is delicate, soft and moist, dusted with powdered sugar, and has yummy ube flavor. Service from Neal, Bella, and Joan is very kind, welcoming, attentive, and friendly! Bella is so nice and helpful, she made the process easy, politely answered questions about the menu and baked goods, and even made great recommendations.

Lots of flavors to pick from; I tried four so far, and I love all of them. Butter Chicken: An amazing combo in a empanada, the crust works so well with the spices of the butter chicken inside. Cheesy Ham: One of my top picks so far! May sound a bit too simple but the bechamel sauce makes this one soooo good, it is so cheesy and the ham are cubed so you manage to get a ham in every bite! Spinach and Chicken: It was a comforting kinda of meal this one was simple but amazing for what it is! Carne Norte De Patatas: This one is my favorite and I will be getting more of it in the future The people running this place are so kind as well, they are so talkative and will recommend you if you are unsure of what to get at first! I will have to try the drinks next time I come in though, the cookie butter latte looks amazing! Parking can be hard depending on when you come, the parking lot is a bit small and they do share the space with a lot of other stores so be careful when you enter!

I love Casa de Empanadas. Every time we visit Las Vegas, it's a must-stop for us. Even my 3-year-old asks if we're going there when she finds out we're heading to Vegas -- that's how you know it's good! The Turon Ube empanada is the bombbbb. Sweet, crispy, and so good. And the Chicken Mushroom empanada is hands down the best savory one! We've tried pretty much all the flavors (yes, we went for it ), but those two are our absolute favorites. Their coffee is really good too, which makes it the perfect little stop for a snack and caffeine break. We'll definitely keep coming back every time we're in Vegas! Clean shop and fantastic service too!

Hot momma! I'm so glad that Casa de Empanada has their first brick and mortar so close to my house. I actually used to come to this location all the time for the pizza place that used to be here. I'm glad they moved a few blocks away so that Casa de Empanada could slide right in. It's a tiny place and if you want to dine in here, there are a few tiny high top tables with stools inside and 2 four top tables outside. The tiny tables inside are super cute, with condiments underneath. It sounds awful (and for someone who weighs a bit more, like myself, I was worried) but it's pretty comfortable and I didn't mind the seating. There is no restroom here, so don't expect it to be like a sit down restaurant. The people working here are super nice and friendly. They want to make sure you are having a great time and enjoying their food. But I'm not surprised by that because I understand Filipino hospitality, growing up with it like I did. The service was pretty fast but also pretty slow. Our drinks came out super quick and our breakfast came out in a reasonable time but our take home empanadas (which we ordered everything at the same time) took a very long time. I'm not mad about it though, it's because you can order every flavor and they will make it for you, so it takes time. I didn't realize this and thought I had to order what was available but those got taken by earlier orders so they had to make some of ours, hence the long wait. But was the wait worth it? Abso-freaking-lutely!!! First, the coffee drinks are fire and I want to now try every flavor on the menu. The tapsilog and the longsilog were amazing. I don't normally eat pork but wanted to try their house made longonisa. Worth it!! The garlic rice was yummy. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The atchara might be some of the best I've ever had. SO GOOD!!! Then... the empanadas? Every flavor we tried was good and I cannot wait to go back and try more. Do not sleep on this place. Eat here!!!!!!!

I love empanadas and saw this place was close to my work. They have a ton of different options including baked, fried, and sweet (only Saturday and Sundays). I ordered three empanadas and it comes with a free drink so I also got the calamansi juice. I ordered the baked chicken mushroom, chicken Philly, and the Filipina in me got the diniguan. I'm not a big fan of peas so the chicken mushroom was not my favorite but it was still good. The chicken philly was delicious though and the diniguan was also very good, very vinegary. The crust was delicious, not too sweet like some Filipino empanadas are and no raisins in the ones I got either (which I was happy about). The inside of the place is small, only having a few high tops and stools but they're pretty close to the counter so it can feel confined when ordering when there are people sitting. But the service was great. It does take a few minutes to get the empanadas heated up but worth it. The packaging is also super cute. They also have other food items besides empanadas. Can't wait to go again to try different ones!

A barista friend told me about this new-ish east side spot, and I was able to swing by one morning over the holiday break from work. The logo and signage are cute, menu is larger than expected with several empanadas (baked and fried options), a case of pastries, and some heartier entrees/plates, plus a drink menu. I came in just planning to get a coffee but the display case swayed me to grab an empanada as well. I got the calamansi cold brew and the beef, onion, and cheese empanada. The owner cautioned me about the drink - it is a unique flavor combination with sour citrus and bitter coffee, but they combine nicely and balance out. This isn't a drink everyone will like though, the warning was appreciated. In the future, I'd probably get their ube latte. The empanda was great - snack size, warm, with a tasty filling. I like how they use (and specify) Velveeta for certain fillings, as it's what I grew up with in Tex-mex queso and mac and cheese, but I know some people aren't a fan. The owner said this empanada flavor was his personal favorite, so I think I ordered well. I am not typically in this area so I am not sure when I am likely to be back, but it's a great addition to the area. They have a good variety on the food and drink menu, and seem to have a good local following. Stop by if you are in the area!

We walked in and first impression was it was very small place but let me tell you the food makes up for that. The lady who was running the cash register was very friendly and very welcoming. Let me show you what we ordered. They are known obviously for their empanadas but we only ordered 2 of the empanadas one was Ube and the other lanka. There are savory versions which will try next time.

We tried Casa de Empanada for lunch (12/13/25). Items tried and liked (so far): Chicksilog Chicharon Pork Belly Chicken Mushroom Empanada (baked) Spinach and Ricotta Empanada (baked) Roasted Pork Empanada Calamansi Juice Everything was masarap! I like that they offer chicken and baked options. There were 3 of us, we ended up with half leftover that we ate for dinner :) Excellent service. The owner is very nice and personable. Interior is cute and clean. There are a couple of small tables inside and 2 tables outside enough to fit 8 people in total. Parking is plentiful but can get busy depending on the time of day. Highly recommend. I hope you decide to check them out :)

I thought this place was something nice and different. For being new, they were very crowded when I came in. It is a smaller space with few tables on the side, but they do have a few tables outside as well which can slightly accommodate the customers they're bringing in. It was because of how crowded it was that it got confusing on how to order. There is a counter where you order and someone else helps you pick the empanadas you would like. I wasn't sure if that was the proper setup because other customers had ordered differently. Regardless, staff was friendly and very accommodating to how busy they were. Aside from empanadas, they also have plate combos and drinks such as juices and coffees. I tried their dalandan juice and it was soo refreshing. Their brown sugar milk tea with boba was also good. The empanadas I ordered were the chicken mushroom, spinach and chicken, pork sisig, and there was one more that I can't remember. Out of all the choices that I bought, I really enjoyed the chicken mushroom. Although, with how good the empanadas were, I don't think I can fully justify the price with the size. One piece is $5.49 and they sell in 1 pc, 3 pcs, 6 pcs, or 12 pcs. The value does get better the more you buy with 12 pcs being $3.95 each. I would come back to try other flavors and other drinks, but for now I think it's okay overall.

I've been wanting to try this spot for a while now and boy it did not disappoint. It's a small little hole in the wall off Tropicana that could easily be overlooked. Service was great - you pick which empanadas you want from the glass display and pay at the end. Super quick and easy. You even get a free refreshing drink with a 3 empanada combo. Some of the most unique flavor profiles I've had offered in an empanada- and all done very well. Coffees were okay- out of all the amazing coffee spots out here in vegas - I'd stick to just the empanadas next time but had to try. Highly recommend!!

I don't know how in the world this place only had 62 reviews but not enough people have come here. Casa de empanada gives me a hole in the wall Type feel in the best way possible. The customer service is super friendly but genuine, you can tell that they really want to talk to you. We got a lot of food so much so that we had leftovers. The empanadas were all fantas but the beef onion and cheese was 100 percent my favorite. The plates we got were also amazing. The meat was tender and super flavorful, the garlic rice was delicious and the runny eggs were perfectly cooked. I will most definitely return, and I can't wait to try the pork belly

Showed up at opening time on a Saturday! Unfortunately, they weren't quite ready, so they opened doors a little late and took a minute to fully prepare. However, they had a positive attitude, and the food was quite delicious: Adobo empanada - perfect ratio of filling to dough. It is pretty small but tasty. Longsilog with rice, eggs, vinegar, and pickled papaya - I'm impressed that they make the longsilog from scratch, so it's not the style we Filipinos are used to when we buy it at the store. However, it's still yummy! I would order all of this again. Next time I'll try different empanada flavors. Note that the location is small. There are a few high top tables with a couple chairs each, but know that the surface area is limited. You're better off ordering for take-out.

As the day progressed, the tables started to fill up. I get the impression that they have a loyal following of customers which is amazing. However, in my opinion, the food was extremely underwhelming. I ordered the chicken Alfredo, cheeseburger, and ranchero empanada. Looking at the descriptions, I figured I would love the cheeseburger and the ranchero and the cashier recommended the chicken alfredo. The cheeseburger and the ranchero were disappointingly mediocre. While my favorite, the chicken alfredo was not special as well. I'm definitely willing to try some other flavors but the flavors I tried so far today definitely did not impress. There was a lot to be desired when it came to the food and I say that as someone who is typically happy with most meals I try.
