It is also close to where I live so location is also convenient. The sushi tastes fresh, the bento meals are also full and prices are reasonable. We experienced the absolute worst service today. Our waitress' name was Julie. My family and I visited this location today, Mother's Day. We arrived to the restaurant at 3:50 (they open at 4pm). They seated us right when we arrived (& we were the only family in the restaurant at the time) and we placed our order shortly after 4. We received our drinks. Around 4:20 she comes to our table with 1 miso soup and 1 salad and stated that our rolls were ready but the rest of our order was still being prepared and would be out shortly...(no she never brought our rolls out). I asked her what is taking so long for them to make my son's noodles? 5 families came in after us and they received their food before us. She had the nerve to say, "i know, but Im busy doing TO-GO orders too and getting everyone else's orders out". I said, we placed our order 45 almost 50 mins ago. They forgot a third of our order, the fish was "fishy" to the point we couldn't eat it, and the lettuce was rotting. Happy Mother's Day ! So unorganized! We ordered over the phone for a pick up after trying three times and being told "we're too busy" It was only two rolls. My sons name (Connor) was mistaken for Hannah (?) and he went to the window, paid, and waited. An order name was called out, some other woman approached and took the order (no ID was verified) while my son waited another 40 minutes while other orders went out. This time the waitress was so kind and sweet to my 2 year old who just wanted to be her best friend the whole time we were there. Our rolls were delicious! I ordered here once and had a great experience. Ordered two more times and had not so great experiences with both. Decided to try one more time, not a good idea. I placed my order around 7 and they said it'd be ready by 7:58, got there on time, didn't get my food until 8:30. several items were missing and they didn't think to tell me they were out of stock and I had to come back into the store to ask about the missing items THEN they informed me they were out of stock already and just removed the items. Didn't ask me if I wanted to replace the items either, the people I ordered for barely had anything to eat because of that. They forgot to refund me for two other missing items so I had to go through doordash (where I ordered) to get those back as credits, not a refund. I now have $30+ in doordash credits, great! (Sarcasm) Each person who came in after me for their pick up order was also told it would be 15 minutes later (spoiler: it was way more than 15 minutes for most of the customers). While waiting, I experienced another customer going up to the employees three times, nicely asking about his order and each time they told him it'd be "10-15 more minutes and they're working on it right now" (lie lol) and another customer came up to request his tab because no waiters/waitresses had stopped by his table in a long time. It was very busy so I don't blame the employees because there was only 4 chefs making sushi for a completely packed restaurant. I do completely 100% blame management though because they could stop taking orders if they're that backed up or give more accurate wait times when they know they're extremely busy. I think the environment and service would be much better if they didn't overload their only 4 chefs and managed orders better so they don't get backed up like that with hour+ long waiting times while lying to people about how it'll only be 10-15 minutes. Not a good experience. They also forgot several items during my previous orders too. This was the last chance my family was giving to this restaurant and now I don't think we'll be coming back. Conclusion: 1/5. Bad management. Not worth the long wait times.
