Added an extra star based on my experience as a walk-in for a day. It was roughly $29 for the whole day. They added more to the toddler section, added an arcade area and removed the bumper cars, added a moon walk section as well. Upon entry filled out the waiver, they only had one screen which makes it take longer for people. They should have at least for checking in and waiver along with Sanitizer pumps beside them. My kiddos love coming here to play. I'm able to play with 2 y/o and confidently let my older 5 y/o play on his own. I will say the smaller toddler area is great but for my little girl who likes to try and keep up with her older brother it's a bummer that the parents are restricted to the ground floor. The prices on their food are very reasonable and I was actually really happy to see their portion sizes reflect. The soda wasn't overtaken by ice and the food is fresh. No notice was given besides the poster that they hung up for the event and they expect the entire membership to know the private event that was going on. This funville location is a lot bigger than the one in Chesapeake. We went on a Sunday so I presume weekends are busy packed. Prices are ok, they offer military discounts on Monday. They have a toddler zone, a regular kid zone and a big kid/teen/adult area. Different prices for different areas or you can combine the toddler and kid zone in one price. This location does not have the race cars. Adults are not allowed in the upper area kids zone, it is basically not monitored. The lower area is monitored by one or two staff members. You can go get your kid if they are stuck or crying in the upper level. Otherwise you don't have a good enough view of your child making me feel it is not appropriate for toddlers. Toddlers are otherwise ok on the lower level if you can keep them from climbing up. No shoes are allowed in play areas, socks are required and are available for purchase if you didn't wear any. Hand sanitizer stations are available at the entrances of play zones but are too high for smaller children to reach for safety reasons I'm sure. All of the play areas appeared clean but smelled of stinky socks in the kid zone. Outside food and drinks are not allowed. They have plenty of clean tables with menus provided. A waitress or waiter will come to your table as soon as you are seated. The food was mediocre, didn't expect much anyway. Pizza was too greasy, wouldn't order it again. This is a great place for kids of all ages to get a ton of energy out, they have private areas for birthday parties. We will definitely be back! read more

We have been to FunVille quite a few times. My older girls love it and we just recently took our little boy for his first time. He's only eight months so we was able to play in the toddler section, and his admission was half the price. It's a great place for the kids to run around, work out and get the energy level down a bit. Prices have gone up and like most places, I usually don't like seeing prices go up without some type of changes being made to make it worth it. Definitely not worth coming often, but every once in awhile, sure. Staff members aren't out of this world friendly. They pretty much just get by getting you in and to the play area. When it comes to ordering food, be ready to wait. The service wasn't great and it took forever to get our food. I went to FunVille Playground & Café and played a game called: "Swing Smash". It claims to be "skill-based," but after several perfect attempts, the swing pulled back just barely enough away from the prize. The game had two $50 Visa gift cards available as prizes, and I tried both prize slots -- both gave the same outcome: the swing pulled back just short, even when perfectly timed. There were no instructions on the machine other than a mysterious sticker that said "this is a skill-based game; each attempt will not be a win." If it is skill-based, then a perfect attempt would assuredly win -- and I had many. The game is rigged, with an in-built payout system that misleads the swing to block awards even for proper plays. I approached a worker and was told by the manager that they don't even possess a key to open the machine -- which makes me wonder if FunVille doesn't even own the machine that they are profiting from. I also texted the phone number on the machine and put in a complaint on their website, and have heard nothing. Other than that it was fine but I feel taken advantage of via a legal grey area. This place was very DIRTY and dangerously WARM! I have two kids. One is a baby and the other is a toddler. The price for the baby to play (7 months old) was the same amount that it cost the toddler to play all over the facility. The price was too expensive for what was available and the kids' abilities. My little baby was required to wear socks. I had to pay $2 extra for a pair of baby socks (smh). The scene there was chaotic and stress inducing. I talked to two other parents, they were disappointed as well- especially with the price of entry which apparently had gone significantly up since last year. We were there for one hour and charged full price. They should have customers pay according to time spent in the facility- not an "all day fee" or one size fits all solution for cost. And they also should truly reconsider how much they charge for babies! It's pretty ridiculous. *I noticed the owner responded rudely to someone's review. That's unfortunate. They should take the feedback as constructive criticism and use the advice to better their business. It takes a wise person to do that... Also, not everyone wants monthly passes. Some of us only want to come once in a while, so the monthly passes wouldn't be worth it! I took my daughter and her friend to this place. It looked fun and I thought it was a good deal. They played for a while and then my daughter fell on some rolls. She had a sizable bruise from something that was unpadded near by. Things happen sometimes so I just let it go and we never went back. A month goes by and I had a $55. Charge from them. I went back to get my money and was told that I had signed a contract. I asked to see it and the rep told me it was sent to my email. I get a lot of junk mail so I had not seen it before but I did find it. It was there but I had not signed it. They then told me they are unable to reverse charges and will have their headquarters call me in a couple days. I never heard from them but it's not the last time they will hear from. Watch out for this place signing you up without your knowledge. They still owe me money. $110. read more

It used to be a bit on the pricey side, but ultimately worth it for a good time. It's gone progressively downhill into a mess a ticky tack charges meant to wring the most money they can out of you. Buy your 1 dollar pair of jump socks, Funville brand, otherwise you can't play. If you want to do the Arcade, buy your one dollar arcade card to be able to play as it doesn't take coins. 20 dollars a head, so it's almost not worth it if you can't plan to spend several hours, but then you have to pay for the overpriced and underquality food. On the subject of the Arcade, the management team has completely given control of it to the company that owns the games. That means, if you spend 20 tokens to play the VR game and it malfunctions, you can't just get a refund on site to play something else, you have to contact a third part company at an 800 number to give you your money back. Also, every game costs 7 or 8 tokens, but you can only buy tokens in batches of 20. That's right, it is nearly mathematically impossible to use all the tokens you purchase. You will almost certainly wind up with unused tokens and nothing to spend them on. Also, your 7 token swipe gets you 10-30 seconds of play time, some of the games are even one swipe for one try. It's a scam and I would encourage everyone to avoid the Arcade specifically, but the whole place generally until management stops trying to squeeze every penny out of their customers. There is value in respecting your customers and this place has lost sight of that. read more

My daughter went into the play structure but could not find him!! She then got someone from the desk to help. Well, he finally came out of the structure, thank God...we both were crying because we realized there is no safety in place here,anybody can walk out with a child. At Chuckie Cheese they stamp the hand of the child and the adult the child is with..and check to make sure they match when they exit..no such safety measure at Funville. This is a very cool children spot. It is an indoor playground, arcade, obstacle course and serves kid friendly food. They have plenty of party rooms available or birthday parties. On my recent visit I came for a little playdate with friends. It was on a Saturday morning so it was pretty busy. We were able to order food and drinks right away while the kids ran off to play. The server was very kind. The food and drinks were also very affordable. They ever offer dip n dots! The kids can spend hours here, there is just so much to do. I think this place is great for walking toddlers up to preteens who can play in the arcade and obstacle course. The only thing I don't like about this facility is that it is kind of dirty. I know most children facility are not very clean because, lets face it, kids are dirty germ balls. However, I'd like to see them to focus on more cleaning protocols. My family and I decided to have a fun day. We heard so many great things about this place and decided to come check it out. I'm so glad we did. Our 4 year old had such an amazing time and did not want to leave. Even after 2 hours of just playing our son still had tons of energy. The cost is pretty cheap for your child to play. The food was a bit pricey but we all enjoyed it. FunVille is so much better than your typical play place. Make sure you and your child has socks, it's a requirement. *Covid-19 review* Went for the first time on Tuesday evening at 5pm & it wasn't busy at all! Took our 15m old to release some of his energy out in the toddler area & he had a blast. The toddler area is quite small (only downside) so we weren't there for longer than 45min-1hr. It's still a nice place to take the kids when they're bored for some quick playtime. The bigger kids play area is actually very decently sized with lots of obstacles & things to climb & do, so that one seemed more fun but my son is still too young for it. The admission fee for toddler area was $7 which wasn't bad. Socks are also required & the place seemed to be kept clean. Masks were also being worn by staff & adults. Before entering the facility, they do ask you to hand sanitize & also take everyone's temperatures. If you haven't filled out a waiver beforehand, they ask you to do so at one of their computers. Then you simply go to the front desk, get the kids wrist-banned & pay. Overall, it's a nice place in a good location. I am writing to talk about a recent visit to Funville, Virginia Beach I want to express my disappointment with the service I received. Though the staff was not knowledge of the establishment and not helpful, they lacked basic knowledge about cafe . None of them could offer any help to solve the problem to help us feed the children, and I didn't know that the establishment wasn't providing food because it wasn't on the website. I drove 30 minutes because it was my child's birthday and he is six years old. It's very disappointing that the children had no where to eat. Talk to management name Jessica she didn't do anything to help the situation of solving a customer service act of kindness and what can she do better to help the customers. I will never come back or recommend anyone to bring that child/ children to a place that doesn't care about children. We had to leave early after paying $$ so that the children could eat. I have been to this location twice and it is an excellent place in the area to bring your kids to have a good time. I have been here only for birthday parties so far and I rate it way higher than some of the other venues I have been to over the years. They have 3 pretty cool party rooms. I have been to the Super hero themed rooms.There is an attendant assigned to the room the whole time that will help out with the party. That is very attentive of them to provide you with your own attendant. The pizza is tasty and they provide little ice cream cups that you can serve with the cake that you bring in. As far as the play area it is very busy. Tons of kids running around but the kids seem to enjoy the chaos. It's a large space so they could play there for a couple of hours and not get bored. The other side has an obstacle/ninja course geared to older kids and adults and that looks like a lot of fun for people that are into that. I noticed there were tons of people in the other line to download a copy for their waiver that is mandatory. Luckily, I already had one signed for my son. I stood in line for almost 10 minutes before anyone told me since I was part of a birthday party I could have just came in. UGH. Since I was part of a birthday party we didn't have to order food. But I observed the "party attendant" that was working with our party and she did a good job of handling everything. The pizza given out was delicious. The facility was clean. It's is an awesome place for the kids to play. But they have a silly rule that you cannot bring in your own food or drink. I wouldn't have in issue with that rule if you could actually get service to place an order for their food. Along with several tables around me we waited for over 2 hours with not a single server or manager acknowledging us. I understand that they are short handed, but please still give me the courtesy of a simple acknowledgment. After waiting for over 2 hours, I finally asked the manager if I could please order in a pizza for my kids because they are running around having a blast but keep coming to me with complaints of hunger. I explained to the manger that I am trying to follow their rules by not bringing in my own food, but if they can't provide the service because they are short handed my I please have dominos deliver a pizza for my kids. Her answer was simply, "no, that I couldn't have food delivered. We are short handed and that she hasn't been able to hire enough people." In my opinion if you cannot provide the service for food and drink than you need to get rid of your rule no outside food or drink allowed. I've been here precovid and the ninja warrior-like obstacle course was awesome. My kids were tall enough so it wasn't an issue. But today I thought with the changes and it being called an "Adult sports Inflatable" area and everyone has to be at least 5' tall, it would be somewhat the same. Nope. I brought my kids and family here paid the $10 each thinking it'll be like the other one. I wish I had asked to see the setup before paying. This is a disappointment because it's filled with toddlers and one my kids complained that it wasn't as difficult as the old setup. They need to remove the "Adult" in the name because they allow little kids as long as a parent or adult is with them, but there are hardly any watching their kids.
