This place is fun for the kids. They're having a blast. It's my first time and the thermostat in the wall is reading 60 degrees. Never been in a place of business so cold. My kids hands, nose, and ears are frozen. We had to leave early due to freezing to death. Won't be returning. Nobody addressed the cold or seemed to be trying to fix it.

Staff is always super friendly just great customer service, but this review is mainly on the Pizza surprisingly for a kids play place they dish out a well cooked, and flavored pizza i would say even on par with most pizza restaurants i would rate it between 7 to 7.1

Added an extra star based on my experience as a walk-in for a day. It was roughly $29 for the whole day. They added more to the toddler section, added an arcade area and removed the bumper cars, added a moon walk section as well. Upon entry filled out the waiver, they only had one screen which makes it take longer for people. They should have at least for checking in and waiver along with Sanitizer pumps beside them. You now order and pay at the table which was nice. Took a little while to get our order and the food was ok.

My kiddos love coming here to play. I'm able to play with 2 y/o and confidently let my older 5 y/o play on his own. I will say the smaller toddler area is great but for my little girl who likes to try and keep up with her older brother it's a bummer that the parents are restricted to the ground floor. The prices on their food are very reasonable and I was actually really happy to see their portion sizes reflect. The soda wasn't overtaken by ice and the food is fresh. The only reason I'm a little taken back is because some of the equipment isn't operational and after seeing that it's been like that for awhile is kind of a let down to see they haven't fixed it. Absolutely coming back for more.

Needs to be a little better cleaned and maintained. Very disappointed in the recent visit and spoke to management about the new Sock requirements. My 2yr old grandson is Autistic and sensory issues is huge with us, socks are a struggle and the young lady (duty manager) said she could make an "exception" this time to allow him to wear his own slip proof socks. It's not an exception we expect, it's accommodations because they deserve to be able to play and participate just like any other child.

This funville location is a lot bigger than the one in Chesapeake. We went on a Sunday so I presume weekends are busy packed. Prices are ok, they offer military discounts on Monday. They have a toddler zone, a regular kid zone and a big kid/teen/adult area. Different prices for different areas or you can combine the toddler and kid zone in one price. This location does not have the race cars. Adults are not allowed in the upper area kids zone, it is basically not monitored. The lower area is monitored by one or two staff members. You can go get your kid if they are stuck or crying in the upper level. Otherwise you don't have a good enough view of your child making me feel it is not appropriate for toddlers. Toddlers are otherwise ok on the lower level if you can keep them from climbing up. No shoes are allowed in play areas, socks are required and are available for purchase if you didn't wear any. Hand sanitizer stations are available at the entrances of play zones but are too high for smaller children to reach for safety reasons I'm sure. All of the play areas appeared clean but smelled of stinky socks in the kid zone. Outside food and drinks are not allowed. They have plenty of clean tables with menus provided. A waitress or waiter will come to your table as soon as you are seated. The food was mediocre, didn't expect much anyway. Pizza was too greasy, wouldn't order it again. This is a great place for kids of all ages to get a ton of energy out, they have private areas for birthday parties. We will definitely be back!

We have been to FunVille quite a few times. My older girls love it and we just recently took our little boy for his first time. He's only eight months so we was able to play in the toddler section, and his admission was half the price. It's a great place for the kids to run around, work out and get the energy level down a bit. Prices have gone up and like most places, I usually don't like seeing prices go up without some type of changes being made to make it worth it. Definitely not worth coming often, but every once in awhile, sure. Staff members aren't out of this world friendly. They pretty much just get by getting you in and to the play area. When it comes to ordering food, be ready to wait. The service wasn't great and it took forever to get our food. I was disappointed because we wanted it to be a all-in-one stop but now we know not to bother with ordering food. Pizza was just ok. My daughter wanted fried shrimp, again it was just ok and not many for the price.

Overpriced, full price no matter what time guests arrive. food was unable to be ordered due to lack of staff, however was not indicated prior to paying full price. Unable to bring in your own food. Dirty play area, hand sanitizer machine not working, not well monitored by parents/staff. Would not recommend at this price, without the ability to order food, and due to the lack of cleanliness.

It's operated by the same company as the Adventure Park, though each requires separate admission tickets. The entrance is about a five-minute walk from the parking lot along a pebbled path. After seeing the tower, it reminded me of the Forest Tower in Denmark and wondered if it served as an inspiration for the design. The Nautilus Tower is 65 feet tall, and you can reach the top via stairs or by a spiral ramp. There are benches along the way for those who need a break. Once at the top, I was greeted with a beautiful view of the surrounding forest and lakes. After enjoying the view, I went down the steel slide, which was a lot of fun! You sit on a mat with handles for the descent, similar to a water slide but without the water. After the steel slide, I explored the Treetop Canopy Walk, accessible from the second level of the tower. The canopy walk was nice but also a little scary, giving me "Final Destination" vibes due to the amount of swinging and swaying on the bridge. I ended my visit at the Children's Treehouse Village, which is a nice play area if you have kids. I would recommend Owl Creek Landing for anyone who loves nature, a great family outing or even a date night. It's a wonderful addition to the Virginia Beach area.

There is a parking kiosk or you can use the app to pay. The VA Aquarium is not affiliated with Owl Creek Landing. The entrance is located adjacent to Ocean Breeze park near the big gorilla. It is a 1/4 mile paved walk without shade Oto the Nautilus Tower. Those with mobility issues navigating uneven terrain beware. The path is not completely paved to the Nautilus tower nor is the path to the treehouse village. From the 3rd level of the ramp (or maybe 2nd?) you can access the treetop canopy trail. Which is not handicap accessible. There's a series of suspension bridges so they bounce and sway. The treehouse village is entertaining. As an adult it was fun to play in the three treehouses and go down the slides. Overall we spent around 2-3 hours there. I'm excited to return and try out the nautilus slide once it's open! On a side note: One employee was quick to reply that they indeed have a golf cart when they overhead me ask another staff member who denied my request for a golf cart to escort someone from our group who was fresh post op knee surgery. That particular staff member who denied accommodations responded with it's a busy day you might want to try on a paid day. The aquarium staff came to the rescue and provided assistance and responded with kindness and understanding.

The biggest downside was the heat, especially upstairs in the laser tag area. It was uncomfortably hot and could definitely use better ventilation. The party room itself is on the smaller side and felt very cramped (only accommodates 12 bodies comfortably) and was warm too. The arcade noise carries in even with the door closed as the walls don't go up to the ceiling, but noise is expected in an arcade setting. That said, there were a lot of thoughtful touches that really stood out. The party room was decorated well, with detailed under the sea murals on the wall, and the place settings were surprisingly nice with sturdy glowing plastic plates, cups, and neatly arranged silverware that matched the neon and black-light theme. It made it feel more put-together than typical party setups. (Even though I decorated with my own decorations and partyware, as the birthday girl had a particular theme she wanted.)Our party attendant made it a point to check in to empty trash and make sure everything was going smoothly. One of the most appreciated features was that parents could watch the laser tag games from downstairs on the screens, and a few were even allowed to jump in and play with their kids at no extra charge, which was awesome. The kids absolutely loved the variety of arcade games and had a blast. Party pricing and packages were comparable to other venues, with three options to choose from, and we really liked being able to bring our own food and drinks. They were also very accommodating, since there wasn't a party before ours, they let us in early to decorate at no extra cost, and they didn't rush us out at the end, only asking for 30 minutes to reset the room for the next group. That flexibility made a huge difference, especially since we had the largest party package with multiple laser tag rounds plus arcade time, cake, and food. Parking was a bit tricky, but that was expected at the oceanfront (and we were glad it was the off-season). Most importantly, the kids had an amazing time and the birthday girl is already asking to have another party there, which says it all. A FUN venue with great staff and party flexibility, just be prepared for the heat, especially upstairs, the typical arcade noise (even in the party room) and the frustration of VB Oceanfront parking, as there isn't dedicated parking for the venue.

Maybe that is the reason we were the only folks in the arcade. We ended up with enough tickets to get 6 pieces of "penny candy". So I'd say skip the arcade and take your kiddo to the dollar store and let them come out with 5 or 10 dollars worth of stuff. Also we paid $12 to park in the lot behind the arcade. So a costly 15 minute experience.
