A lot of people over exaggerate how good Korean chicken is in this area, but i've found this Furai to be the most consistent in flavor amongst the Korean Fried Chicken restaurants in the area. It's a decently sized area with dining seating, and there's a Ding Tea nearby which always hits the spot. The chicken always comes out piping and juicy. The crispiness is one of my absolute favorites about the place and the service is fantastic. No matter how busy it is I've always received a refill on my water and necessities without needing to ask. I personally think if you haven't tried this place before you should definitely give it a chance. They also serve alcohol! read more

Super juicy. Super crispy! Ordered the half & half with 10pc wings & half chicken. Got the soy garlic sauce tossed in and the garlic onion on the side. Both sauces were tasty! I think I'll go for a spicy sauce next time around. Yes, their will be a next time! Chicken also came with pickled jalapeños/Serranos? And some type of honey? I'm so glad they opened a location in garden grove. We've always gone to the Irvine location but sometimes can be a bit of a drive. Try their original and get sauces on the side. They do a awesome parm dry rub that's not on their grub hub menu but they offer it if you call in. It's a bit of a wait but worth it call at least 30-40 min ahead but that's how you get fresh fried chicken they offer sandwiches at this location so will need to try for next time. But we've found our favorite local spot! They close a little early at 8 so make sure to come earlier. Just wasn't a fan of their sweet potato fries it's more like shoestring fries. But they gave us some free fries in our chicken order so no complaints! It's in the connecting plaza with ding tea. Plenty of parking. read more

The chicken was battered nicely and the sauce was mixed well. The only complaint that my group had was the soy garlic and sweet and spicy were too sweet for our liking. The food was still super enjoyable! However we just preferred more of a savory taste than sweet. Just finished my volcano chicken sandwich and I'm a little disappointed. Reading the other reviews, I was really hoping to love this place being that it's close to home and has all the flavors I like on paper. Upon getting home, I immediately sit down to devour this thing. To my delight I find a side of slaw, pickled radish and pickled jalapeños...nice touch. I proceed to pick up the sandwich to find that the bottom bun is super cold. Odd...I'm thinking maybe they do this on purpose to keep the bun stiffer as to not absorb too much sauce and get soggy. Not sure if that's the case but the first two bites were super off putting with the juxtaposition of hot, spicy chicken and cold, stiff bread. Didn't enjoy it. Had to go throw it on the pan for a minute. Chicken itself was well seasoned, and the fire level spicy was just spicy enough, but still enjoyable. Not the juiciest of fried chicken though, if anything it's on the drier side of the spectrum compared to its competitors. There's a lot of fried chicken/chicken sandwich spots out there and this one is pretty average. Probably will give them another shot for their regular fried chicken. Also on an off hour with one table in the restaurant, this one sandwich took the full 25 minutes to make with a call ahead order. Pretty good KFC. We got a bunch to try. Regular, soy garlic and a spicy one. All were pretty good. I also got a spicy chicken sandwich. That was really good. and then we got the sweet potato fries. Those were good too. Thin and crispy. Ordered over the phone and order was ready pretty quick. I think maybe 15-20 mins. Food was ready when I picked it up. Food was packaged nicely to go. Randomly came across this place after work one night and it has become a favorite of mine! The chicken is super fresh, always come out hot and crispy, they stay satisfyingly crispy even after a while eating. My favorite sauce flavors are the hot and spicy and the garlic jam. The place's atmosphere is nice and chill. I also really appreciate the staff keeping the restaurant clean. The service is awesome! Use to come here all the time. It was my family, friends, and my go to Chicken place. We would buy loads of boxes for gatherings and such however we had to stop coming here as the quality of the chicken greatly decreased. Wasn't the same, use to be moist and crispy. Now it looks like all the time their chicken has shrunked and is dry and stringy. Such a shame since their sauces Garlic Jam and the Mango Habenero are bomb. The meat was not fresh as it had an odd texture and a rancid taste. Got the original with dipping sauces on the side. All of the sauces were flavorless and off. normally, i would gone to koko's for korean fried chicken. but this night we decided to go out of our comfort zone for once and this spot had been on my list of places to try. it's in a busy strip mall and parking can get limited. inside it's small with 8-10 tables, but clean and cute. it looked like they were having and slow night on a friday. we called in for togo and the order itself took a little longer than anticipated, but that wasn't an issue. once it came out and we went to the car, the smell immediately filled the space and we were salivating. the food togo'd well! everything was still hot and crispy after a 10-12 min drive back home. i have mixed feelings about their togo containers tho. it's well packaged so nothing spilled, but it was also VERY difficult to open. teeth were involved trying to get those suckers opened, which was kinda frustrating. definitely inaccessible for those who have disabilities. maybe they should look into changing them. even my big ass bf had a hard time. right off the bat we noticed that the chicken was pretty small in size compared to kokos. i'm just going to be positive and assume that it was because they use non gmo chicken lol. the sauces were SO good and paired SO well with the chicken. we had the soy garlic and garlic jam and it was so so good. thoroughly impressed. and the dirty fries were so flavorful. things i don't recommend are the rice cake skewers and the coleslaw. they didn't really bring anything to the table for the price. if u guys are looking for a new kfc in the area, i highly recommend checking them out! read more

It tasted quite unique. The Garlic Green Onion is solid, but for me it didn't have the "wow" factor. I'll come back to try out their sandwiches! The layout of the restaurant is a bit odd because the register is in the middle at the bar counter. When I was ordering to-go, it was so awkward because I was literally 3 inches behind a person sitting at the counter and had to yell out my order past that customer. I had to reach my arm in between two parties to give the cashier my card to pay. I hope the owners get those mobile ordering+paying devices so the waiter can take my order at the door.
