Let me start off by saying that clam chowder is IFFY at best but then again who goes to Asian buffet to have clam chowder. Maybe they should consider alternate soups. The variety of the lunch menu is somewhat limited but then again hoping they will add items so they can have people come for return visit. Sushi was not bad for a buffet & relatively fresh. The Mongolian grill station was plentiful & the cook added the right touches!! Hope that the dinner menu is a little more variety but this place is not bad for a start & price point!!! read more

My family and I held a very large get together and had a great time! The food and service was superb! It was money worth spending!

We celebrated mom's 90th birthday here yesterday, Sunday, so it was all day dinner. Overall, it was a good experience even though it was packed. I was impressed by the staff who did their best to make sure everyone had a pleasant dining experience The place is relatively clean. I specially liked the seafood selection - steamed oysters and scallop with rice noodles served in the shell. I must say the oysters are a special mention because of its relative freshness and the careful attention in steaming where it was just done right and the seasoning was on point. The chef/cook is a seasoned seafood expert. I almost gave it a 5-start except that they will not take reservations for large parties. There were 15 in our group and we had to wait for everyone to be there to be seated. While that is understandable, I think they can still have reserved areas if the customer is willing to pay in advance. The one last thing is, please find a way to have a system in clearing used plates without your staff needing to hand carry the dirty dishes and table scraps. I felt bad for the staff when they have to stack and hug the plates. A small maneuverable cart should do the trick. We will be back! read more

Lunch buffet on a weekday is just okay. For $20.99 they have salt and pepper prawns, Mongolian bbq, baked salmon, crawfish, clams, lightly fried squid ( my fave dish there), salmon nigiri sushi, and other rolls with mostly imitation crab meat and mayo. No unagi sushi during lunch. The hot dish section needs to have more variety as there's more than one fried chicken dish with some sweet and sour sauce. Soup and drinks are sufficient enough so is the dessert bar. Hopefully they'll add more variety like Cantonese bbq meats, made to order noodle soups reminiscent of Tomi. read more

The food is ok but there aren't many choices compared to other buffets in the Bay Area. I think it would have been better to go to the Golden Corral because of the number of choices. However, if you want an Asian Buffet, Lone Tree Buffet, Newark buffet, and World Gourmet buffet have more options. This buffet is so compact that everyone was bumping into each other and there's not really enough space to walk through all the walkways if there's people already at the counter. Also, kids take really long to use the chocolate fountain and they keep coming back to it just because it's fun to use. They don't even eat all of their chocolate dipped stuff and it runs out fast. It's lunchtime and many seafood items on the menu. The sushi has some nigiri items (YUM). Lighting is good around tables and very well lit around the food. Staff is attentive and welcoming. We found Fusion Buffet on Apple maps. This is our 1st time here and we're traveling from out of state. We were greeted warmly by the host and seated right away. The buffet had a variety of freshly made sushi. The hibachi grill was well stocked with beef, chicken, pork and shrimp with different kinds of fresh veggies for grilling. Dined here on April 12th for their Dinner service. After (4) hours I was vomiting what had been advertised as fresh clams, mussels, grilled jumbo shrimps. Then came an entire day of "pooping" every 2-3 hrs, only able to eat crackers, drink water/Pedialyte drink. Finally went to Emergency Room on Sunday nite at 11:45 pm. I had lost (3) pounds in a single day from Food Poisoning. Doctor gave me a week's worth of Viral Bacterial Infection and Nausea prescriptions. After (7) days I had lost a total of (4) pounds. I called the Contra Costa County Health Dept to file a complaint against this restaurant for my Food Poisoning. I will be putting in my complaint with the State Attorney General's Office for reimbursement of my medical bills. I "do not recommend" eating here if you value your health and don't want to spend half the night in a hospital Emergency Room. read more

Came to give it another try since it's had some time to settle in. Some of the same problems still exist. Mind you it's an hour to closing this time. The food was overall a disappointment. A lot of the Chinese food was just a little off like it wasn't cooked the same way as I would expect in a Chinese restaurant. Maybe a new chef is just needed. But then I had the sushi and it seemed like every roll tasted the same and the ingredients didn't really vary that much. My favorite which is usually salmon sashimi was awful. It was cut into various shapes and sizes, some as small as my fingernail. It really looked like odds and ends. Why not just throw the tiny bits away? Lastly, and this is the second time, the chocolate fountain was out of marshmallows, again. People just don't replenish a lot of the food fast enough and while I'm glad they have a screen to protect the chocolate fountain now, overall cleanliness is still an issue. Still huge chunks of food on floor and drippings. (Today was half a crab on the floor). Worst yet this time I actually got sick 2 hrs after getting home. My partner didn't have the seafood and didn't get sick but found that he also didnt enjoy much of the food either. There are so much seafood and everything is so delicious. We came here today for my daughter's birthday.
