I ordered food from gaetanos. I love the hoagies from there & was happy that they now delivered. I ordered and then realized i put it through as pick up. I called and they said i was out of delivery range. I explained on the app they come up as delivery. She asked if i could pay cash and i said i would find the $2 for the delivery fee but i planned on doing the tip on the card. So they said even thoigh i was out of range they'd deliver. They guy comes in and i hand him the $2 and ask where i sign. He said i was told to pay cash. he heard her tell me. I told him i didnt have cash for tip & planned on putting it on the card. He snatched the $2 out of my hand said "yeah thanks" and walked out...i said excuse me? He mumbled something and flung his hand up as if to disregard me. Then sped out of the driveway. Read reviews that Gaetanos had amazing cheesesteaks so I thought I'd give it a try. EAT24 app has a special that is $5.50 (+tax) for 4" cheesesteak (or chicken) with crinkle fries which is a great portion size for lunch. Placed my order and it was already ready by the time I got there 10 mins later. I got a cheesesteak toasted with fried onions and mayo. If you're ordering this special via the app, make sure you write any additions in the special instructions. I just referred to the regular cheesesteak order in the app for what types of toppings very available and if any cost extra (which for mine, didn't) The cheesesteak was GOOD!! I liked the sesame seeds on the bread and thought that gave it a nice flavor but not everyone may be a fan of that so keep that in mind, otherwise the cheesesteak was made to perfection, toasted and not soggy and greasy. The pieces of steak were not grounded but in small bite sized. Cheese not overwhelming. Overall a great meal at an affordable price! Highly recommend! P.S.- The fries were pretty good too but I think my ride home made them a little soggy but not bad at all. read more

They close at 11pm. I call at 1038 to ask for delivery. They say no delivery after 1030. I'm okay with that. I understand. Then I try to place an order for pickup. The asshole on the phone talks to me like I'm an idiot for asking to pick up after 1030. If you don't serve customers after 1030, close at 1030 not 1100. Never buying from here again!!! I wanted a cheesesteak Friday night after a long workweek so I decided to order from here. The sandwich itself was pretty good and made the way I specified. But the bread always seems to fall apart. I always thought it was because they stuffed it with so much meat but I ordered the smallest one (I usually order the large and share it) and it didn't seem to be too stuffed. I also thought the texture of the bread was weird. All of that aside it was a solid sandwich, worthy of 3 stars. Why did I give them 4 stars, you ask? We ordered cheesesteaks and burgers tonight and they are huge! Also, very tasty. The burgers came in a hoagie roll 1/2 lb size. They were juicy and really good. The cheesesteaks were full. Been a fan in the past. They just started charging a surcharge for credit card usage that they do not tell you about in advance. Check your receipt for a line item called credit card surcharge. They are not supposed to do this without notifying you in advance and posting signs in store and online. read more

ALWAYS ate at Gaetano's on the Brooklawn Circle in Brooklawn New Jersey recently moved to Magnolia, ordered from Gaetano's on Evesham and Burnt Mill Road,, it was the absolute worst the chicken wings were dry and hard thank God my husband has his real teeth, ordered a cheese steak and even though it had a lot of meat was Bland and fell apart as soon as I went to pick it up it was flavorless I couldn't even tell there was cheese on it Ketchup was on the outside tip of the Roll not inside the sandwich where the hell it belongs, order the pizza for the kids seemed okay but nothing to write home to Mom about this was the absolute worst take out I've ever ordered I'll definitely be trying Scotto's next time. So much for the Gaetano's family name whoever was running this store must be a distant cousin. Won't be ordering from this place ever AGAIN. read more

If I could give this no stars I would. Ordered my food which stated 45 minutes. Called the resturant about my order an hour and a half after placing my order in which they hung up on me 3 times. I finally got through to the guy who said he was sorry that they were having car trouble and it would be there shortly. When asked how long us shortly he said soon. I told him I didnt ask that, how many minutes. He proceeds to tell me 30 minutes, mind you this resturant is .6 of a mile from me. There is no reason as to why my food should take another 30 minutes unless they never did it in the first place. When asked to get a refund the guy said he couldnt do so. I said yeah you can, how can you tell me you cant refund the order. He then yells in my ear to someone else in the restruant asking if they could. He then tells me that he can and they will issue a refund. Also when asking for his name twice as it didnt seem like he wanted to give to me, he finally said Dan. Whether or not that is true I am not sure. I have never eaten at Gaetano's someone recommended it to me and im not quite sure why it was recommended. I will never order or try this place after all. This place is right by my house and after passing it on my way to work every day I called for some delivery. I got a ham and cheese calzone one of my favorites. The employees who took my order and delivered my food were very pleasant. The food was not awful but not great either. The sauce was passable but cold and the calzone seemed slapped together with all the ham in a large chunk in the center and all the ricotta outside that then all the mozzarella outside that; I don't think there was one bite that had all three! In this area Italian places are plentiful this one is not up for the competition! read more

Just ordered a plain cheesesteak and 1 20oz. Pepsi for delivery. $15.41. The cheesesteak had barely any cheese, a whole lot of bread, and was littered with fried onions, which I did not ask for. I also asked for a side of hot peppers and received sweet banana peppers. Oh and lets tack on the $2 for tip for the delivery driver. This cheesesteak was not worth $5 let alone 17.00. One of my favorite places to order from at work! I work around the block at a doctors office and there's 10 of us so it's sometimes difficult to find a place where everyone likes. Gaetanos has the best, largest salads ever! We're a huge fan of their chicken salad, tuna salad and antipasto. I also am s big fan of their wraps,specifically their veggie wrap! The girls at work love their sandwiches and hoagies as well! The portions are hugeeee! The only thing I wouldn't recommend is their soups. The past 3 times someone in our order got soup and each time someone said it was too greasy! Other than that they're a great neighborhood place to order from. Super fast delivery!! read more

I used to really like Gaetanos but tonight I got a delivery pizza from them and was disgusted with the changes they must have made recently to their pizza. The size of the pizza was significantly smaller than a large used to be. They even got a new smaller box to put it in. They used to be one of the few places that put an adequate amount of cheese on it but that seems to have also changed for the much worse. The guy at the counter said these were the best cheesesteaks outside of Philly. They are pretty dang good. So awesome. I got the basic sandwich with onions. It was juicy, hot and full of flavor. The bread was a sesame roll (never had that before) and gave another level to the taste. You could really taste the roasted sesame. Ordered a pizza and onion rings to my work to reward a student and it was ok. The delivery was quick and I could order online which was a plus but when it arrived the pizza was cold. I ordered food again from this Gaetano's a couple of times after posting my last review, because of their convenient location. The chicken cheesesteak and chicken cheese stromboli, I ordered were pretty good, and the jalapeno poppers were awesome. The food is certainly more expensive than nearby Vito's or most other mom and pop pizza places. I'm not sure the price is justified, but you can place orders online, and the service is reasonably fast. However, my biggest complaint -- the packaging! They just don't do a good job wrapping the food to go. When I picked up the stromboli, I had a big mess allover my car seat with water and grease running out of the brown paper bag they gave. They did not close the lid on the marinara sauce cup that came with it, and it spilled allover inside too! They are simply careless with the way they wrap to-go food. read more

I've ordered from here in the past and I loved it. Until the other day. I ordered a salad which comes with a garlic bread. I bit into the bread and spit it right out. I ate a bread with mold on it!!!!! So I call to tell them and they told me it was garlic. I told them I know the difference between garlic and mold. Stephen the manager said they make fresh bread everyday and that it's impossible. He was rude and disrespectful to me. I called the health department and they took care of it. Other than 2 day old, cold pizza, would I ever use the expression, that was a lousy pizza. But today, I was able to say it about Gaetanos pizza. Pizza should be cut into 8 slices of similar size, not the haphazard way that they cut it. Also, their knife needs sharpening as it didn't really cut. Also, I would appreciate some dough in the middle rather than a piece of paper with cheese on it. And the grease!! I had to use 8 paper towels to soak it up and even then, I couldn't pick it up and had to eat it with a knife and fork. We actually ordered from them by mistake and will not be making the same mistake again as we have disposed of the menu and phone number. Sorry Gaetanos but we are not a fan. read more

These are my favorite traditionally-styled cheese steaks, and they have so many different types with different flavor combinations to offer. My favorite is the Philly Steak, made with cheese wiz and friend onions. Delicious! The cashiers are generally pleasant and they're great for carry out. The orders are done in a timely manner and the prices are very fair. I definitely recommend trying this place's steaks out. read more
