    Small pizza

Ordered a pie and a sausage and pepper hero and I was very happy with it. The pizza was very good, not dripping with oil. The hero was outstanding as well. Since it was a delivery, I can't really comment on the place itself but hope to drop by sometime soon!

The view from font of dining room to the back. This pic definitely does not show how nice the room is.

5/14/26 - We planted our garden today, and in no way were we cooking. Nor did I want to clean anything up, so we went a few blocks away on a Friday night. It was packed. The owner, Ciro, who took over when his dad died, has done a great job with the place. Changing the dining room table layout made the ambiance even nicer than before. And they just got brand new pizza ovens. Each of the 3 waiters, including our main one, PJ, worked perfectly in tandem. They'll make anything for you, even if it's not on the menu, which is reason enough to go. They now offer a choice of salads included with most entrees. Hubby got the garden salad, and I got the Caesar salad. Both so good. I could have gone home satisfied with just that. But no. I got rigatoni with sausage and rapini. I had 3 delicious bites before I couldn't eat anymore. Husband got a Fettuccine dish with a side of meatballs. I honestly like my meatballs dry and these were moist. I'm weird that way and it wasn't my meal so no harm, no foul. When we left, the line was almost out the door for counter service and all tables were filled. That should tell you a lot. We're so happy Galleria is our local restaurant.

First time eating in and it was absolutely delicious! I'm super picky with Italian food. My mom's food usually wins over anyone else's :) lol but anywho this place was delicious the fried buratta and the pistachio fettuccine were different and super tasty. The service was very friendly and helpful. I wish they had some Italian music playing as they had some bachata music playing instead lol my only complaint is NO DESSERT MENU!! Whyyyy???

Galleria is perfect for a casual weekday lunch which is exactly what we had here. Upon entering it's a typical pizzeria. There is a separate section for table service. It was a bit awkward because we weren't greeted or directed to sit anywhere in particular so we just seated ourselves. After a minute or two, a waiter came over and gave us menus. We decided on the Chicken Delizioso hero and the Vodka chicken slider which is served on a giant garlic knot. The food came out fairly quickly. It was pretty decent. We also ordered a margarita slice to split and I have to say that was quite delicious. They have a vast variety of slices to choose from both round and Sicilian. I do recommend!

Overall rating: Actually way above the scale, 12/10! Attended 06/15/2025, So picture this, it's Father's Day and I've lost my father one year to date. I have spent the day at the cemetery with my family. For months we've been meaning to stop in over here and today is a day more than ever that I need comfort food. As it goes with viral restaurants you hope to receive the allure and experience as it seems from the media you consume. Let me tell you, the feeling of family radiates from every inch of this place and every member of the staff. Ciro is genuinely a lovely chef/owner with a ton of heart. Without even knowing the hardship my family and I came in there with, he and the two young servers that assisted us today were so gracious, warm, & kind. I'm beyond thankful. For eats we had: Fried Calamari- which had such a beautifully seasoned unique breading. Great portion. Mussels Bianco- automatic win for seafood lovers, be sure to scoop up the sauce, large quantity! Spicy Rigatoni Burrata- WOAH okay, this is next damn level. Next LEVELLLL!!! All dishes are large enough to share, this though, is so good you may not want to share haha. Cheesesteak- I know it's considered a Philly but I'm petitioning to change it to Ciro's Cheesesteak LOL it's just too good to be compared to Philly. That luscious steak, cheese with the seeded bread!!! I couldn't get enough. Tortellini Alfredo- Absolutely bussin', more understated than the rest but the real know that if the flavor is right, it don't need all the bells and whistles. Sausage and Peppers Hero- A classic by all means elevated to another level by the personal touch of Galleria. We also had a few cheese slices and a grandma slice- which were perfectly crispy and delicious! Pricing was beyond fair, everything we had was more than delectable, literally no complaints. Bonus! We were gifted these lovely layered mason jars that we ate when we got home, S'mores & Reese's flavors. I am normally not a sweets person and this was THE BOMB DOT COM. I would actually crave these. Big thank you to Ciro & staff! Happy Father's Day to all the fathers. Ciro you carry your family legacy with pride and it shows in your food. All reading this review- go check them out!

    Vodka Slider

Very clean restaurant with an old school pizzeria vibe when you walk in, with the booths on the side, but no menu over the oven. Paper menus are given & orders are taken at the front whether you are dinning in the restaurant area or not. The food was brought out to up nice & hot, the burrata pepperoni slice was delicious. For the main reason I came to this place, the vodka sliders.. they are huge, get one! Solid garlic knot & chicken cutlet, but I would have like a little more salt. Overall great meal if in the area.

Great food and customer service so a 10/10. I had ordered in the past and always enjoyed my food but had never been to the actual store until yesterday. Got a vodka burrata slice and a Korean chicken slice. The vodka slice was delicious!!! I got another to go for later. The Korean slice was a little salty for me but had great flavor. I also for a vodka chicken parm sandwich to go and it was also really good. I think I found my new place!!!

Best chicken parm I've had in my entire life! The farfalle and perfectly al dente. We had incredible service! I've definitely got to come back and try more!

Came here once and now it's a must go often place. I ordered a couple of things. I enjoyed the garlic knots. Soft and garlicky. The thing that I would like to talk about most of their giant garlic knot chicken Ala vodka sandwich. This sandwich was delicious. I have been telling friends how great it was. Service was fairly fast and was nice. Place was a decent size as you can get your family in for dinners. Nice and clean place. Well be my go to place when I'm around the area.

    Doug W.

Omg. Can you even go here without getting that amazing vodka chicken parm hero? Don't think so. Once you try that, I challenge you to return without ordering it every time. Though, I'd like to return and try the chicken Sorrentino. It's my fave.... Maybe I've found a place that'll turn it into a hero as my local spot that used to do a special order for me had closed during the covids.

    Jatin K.

Aside from this place being absolutely amazing. I'll tell you a story. We ordered take out. They missed some orders on our take out order. But the owner himself called me and refunded the entire thing. Now the money doesn't mean anything don't think this review is about that. It's the service they provide. He didn't have to do that but he did. Aside from their food and ambience here being amazing, I truly believe in great customer service and that's what Ciro provided me with. Amazing food as always. Thank you again to this establishment. It speaks volumes to his character.

Party of 3 arrived and we were able to sit. There's ample seating on the side. Service was quick and attentive. Servers are young. Food was amazing! I found out about this spot through tik tok and tried the chicken in garlic bread. I was told it was small for me that happily could have been my meal. It is hearty. We tried three different pastas and they were all delicious

Did the ownership Change at Galleria Pizza in Merrick? Its def not the same, and I mean it like, I'll probably never go back.

We asked to be moved since it was cold and rainy and the door was being thrown open from guests/valet going in and out. Without any hesitation we were moved to a much much more comfortable area. Thank you! We were served by John, he was knowledgeable of the menu and had some great recommendations. We tried the Anthony's Mule drink which is made with a fig vodka. A nice change and very tasty! We were served warm bread and when our appetizer came, they brought more bread for dunking. John was right, we did need more it was sooooooo good in the Clams pot! The clams were a nice size, not tiny, not huge and chewy. Just right! They were served in a pink sauce which we scooped out of the bowl when we were done. It was just that good. I have literally never ordered a chicken parm at a restaurant, I've tried some before and just never really am a fan. But after John told us how good it was, I decided to go for it. I'm so glad I did. The Vodka Parm was soooo tasty! The chicken was breaded perfectly and I ordered it over cavatelli pasta that was cooked nice and al dente. My boyfriend ordered Veal Francese over linguine which he ate the whole thing and loved it as well. There are two bathrooms, I'd recommend going to the one up the steps. The one I have a photo of is fine but the door opens to the dining room so thankfully I remembered to lock it or that would have been awkward lol. It was so immaculately clean the only complaint I have is that the mirror is pretty high up! The restaurant was spotless, everyone was kind and every bite we had was delicious. We will definitely 1000% be back very soon. This place is a gem!

I understand that not every place is child-friendly, but this is a pizza place! We are excited to introduce our kids to a variety of cuisines from a young age, and we thought pizza would be a good choice. They aren't chicken fingers and fries kinda kids . The food was decent; I wouldn't go as far as to say it was the best pizza I've ever had. However, the meal was overshadowed by the hostess's attitude. Throughout our visit, she kept glaring at us every time one of the kids made even the slightest noise. It felt incredibly unwelcoming. To make matters worse, they do not provide high chairs. When we mentioned that we'd still like to stay despite that, since our one-year-old can sit in a regular chair, it felt like a battle just to get one. It was clear that the hostess was eager for us to leave. Our meal felt rushed, as if we were being timed on how quickly we could eat. Her continual glares were uncomfortable, especially since we were seated right next to the hostess stand. It's unfortunate how much a bad hostess can negatively impact a dining experience. I genuinely hope the management realizes this and considers better training for their staff. Overall, this experience made it clear to me that I won't be returning. They really need to work on creating a welcoming environment for families. Especially because of the town they are located in.

We had taken the AirTrain from JFK to the LIRR, and rolled into Mio Posto with our carry-on luggage and backpacks. It's only a block from the Merrick station and we hadn't eaten anything since breakfast. Somehow we were unaware of its existence, despite living only a few miles down the road, so we were happily surprised to see a lively crowded bar with a younger group on the right, a high ceiling, well spaced and white-table-clothed tables in the dining area with older adults (like us) on the left. The owner, "Frankee," greeted and seated us. He also dropped by to say hello and chat ... very friendly, and we saw him sit down at two other tables to chat. One time there was a live singer playing an electric keyboard at the far end of the bar, lots of songs we recognized. There were four unoccupied tables on a narrow second floor nook spanning the rear wall, maybe for a small, private party? Both times the service and food were excellent, from the salad to the entrées to the dessert (including great tiramisu). The last time we were there, I snapped a photo of the jumbo shrimp over spinach with oil and garlic, but didn't bother with photos of the dishes with Parmesan cheese because then all you see is mozzarella cheese on top and not what's under it. FYI, a lot of dishes are called "Parmesan" due to the Parmesan style of layering the entrée (whether it be chicken, veal or eggplant) with sauce and cheese. It's moderately priced. Their "half" portions are often enough for two, so you can often order for one, but get enough for two, especially if it's a three-course meal ... just ask for extra plates.
