    Burrata

This is probably the best restaurant in the NWI area consistently. Every time we come we have an amazing meal, impeccable service, and a fine dining experience. The venue is beautiful as well. We have never had a bad dish! This last time we shared the burrata and the gamba salad and the gnocchi. The gnocchi was to die for! I also loved the salad!! I had the halibut which was wonderful. Others had the filet, lamb chops, and chicken...all were great! They bring the bill in a cute envelope. I highly recommend this spot when you want an amazing dinner with great service.

This is a very well run family owned Italian restaurant. The ambience is excellent and it is not too loud and very beautifully decorated. They have a small menu and they clearly focus all their energy on creating the best version of every item they offer . This place is highly recommended and it seems like they are from the northern part of Italy.

This was by farrrrr the besttt Italian restaurant I've ever been to. The past was perfectly al dente, the oysters were a nice size for happy hour as well. I asked the server to just surprise me with any pasta dish and she did excellent. I usually don't go to the same restaurant twice in a week as a traveler but I will be back!

Came here for my 30th birthday and had a party. Everything from the start of planning the party to the actual event was amazing. The appetizers, entrees, and drinks made the event absolutely amazing. We would love to plan another event here because of how well everyone was treated. Highly recommend!

I've been here more times than I can count and it's our usual date night spot! We've taken family here as well as gifted others gift cards so they can experience this amazing establishment for themselves. The food is top tier when it comes to the NWI and Chicagoland region, the rotating menu makes this always a go-to and they have the freshest and highest quality fish. From start to finish you feel like you've been taken care of, the owner is very hands on as well as his family and every employee takes pride in their role. You'll never be disappointed here which is why it's our go-to. The perfect ambience without the hustle and bustle of a typical weekend evening in a restaurant despite it being busy it still feels very intimate and the noise level is perfect and not distracting, no yelling across the table due to loud background music or environment. I love this place and will continue going.

I had the smashburger with fries off of their lunch menu. The food was good. The burger was a bit smaller than the bun. Their horseradish mayo is really good.

Loved everything... the decor.. the service the food... everything was 5 star. I had a seafood dish with shrimp and scallops in a lemon butter sauce. Delicious.

Everything was amazing. The food, the drinks, the service, and the atmosphere... I only wish I heard of this restaurant sooner. Will definitely be going back.

How the bill came lol it wasn't bad for two people. Expect to spend around $150-200 if drinking

Me and my wife loved it. It felt very inclusive, we forgot we were in northwest Indiana. Felt more like Downtown Chicago. I had a the filet mignon, it was incredible. We enjoyed the wine as well!

Love the play on words with the bill

This place has NEVER failed us. Last year, at the VERY BEGINNING of what would become a pandemic, we had a date night and had to leave immediately for a family emergency. We had JUST ordered apps but we let our waiter, Josh, know what happened and he immediately jumped in to action to box up our stuff. No questions asked. We've returned twice since and all I can say is I LOVE IT HERE. Every dish ordered has been cooked to perfection. I love the dimness of the room, no matter the time of day. It's very cozy and perfect for date nights. Everything I've ordered has been wonderful. The ambience makes it really easy to just hang out, eat good food, and enjoy the company. We've never really orders the appetizers, unless one piqued our interest on the specials menu. We just order a drink and talk. I've had the agnolotti ripieni, which is ravioli filled with braised beef short ribs. So good!! The tagliata di manzo is superb!! We've ordered off the specials menu, too. But, I can't remember the dishes ‍ always good food. Always a good time. We are and will continue to be repeat diners here.

View 2 of the Courtyard. I ate under an open blue sky that day.

We did family style and shared everything. Prices were fair. Overall 4.5. -beef tongue 5 - kind of expensive but worth it. One of the best appetizers to get. Tons of flavor and very little chewing. -cheese bites mix 5 -feta and mozzarella cheese. The mozzarella sticks look different from your average American version. The cheese pull is not as stretchy but it's still well made. -seafood mix 5 - very fresh seafood. Perfect if you want to try a variety. The seafood is tender and moist. -Balkan style meats 4 - I love Balkan meats but the pork chop was painfully dry. The other meats were moist and robust. -lamb chops 5 - lamb chops cooked beautifully medium. Use the sauce provided. The rice was also very good. -skirt steak 5 - very tasty meat. The food tastes homemade and prepared with so much care and love. My daughter completely fell in love with the syrniki -- they were honestly some of the best we've had. I also tried the pumpkin soup, which instantly became my favorite. My husband ordered the Nordic omelet, and when my husband compliments food, trust me, that's the highest praise possible! One of the biggest highlights for us is the amazing play area for kids. Anyone who has breakfast with young children knows that once they're done eating, they want to run and play. Here, kids have a beautiful playroom where they can have fun while parents can actually relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee. Another thing we really appreciated was the wonderful staff. The girls who served us were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was especially helpful that they spoke both English and Russian. My daughter doesn't speak much English yet, and my husband doesn't speak Russian, so having staff who could communicate with both of them made us feel even more comfortable and welcome. And a special thank you to the owners for being open on Mondays! So many places in Long Grove are closed at the beginning of the week, and it's such a treat to have somewhere cozy to enjoy a great breakfast. Highly recommend Fluffy Bunny to anyone looking for delicious food, great coffee, a family-friendly atmosphere, and a place that genuinely makes you feel at home.

It's awkwardly positioned in a small strip and the parking is terrible, but worth the inconvenience! Three of our group shared the mixed grill, selecting the beans and fries as their side. They thoroughly enjoyed it and even had a small bit leftover to take home. It's a generous platter of various grilled meats including the signature favorite Macedonian kebapi, as well as a few types of sausage, pork and chicken. The bread provided was the perfect texture for nestling these cuts to form the perfect bite. I decided to go with the Sharska Burger and the classic (and nostalgic) presentation with the fries inside the burger. Even though the burger was a bit overdone for my liking, I suppose it has to be cooked to a higher level of doneness to ensure the cheese filling is thoroughly melted. The fries were hot, crispy, and fresh but I had to get through a lot of them before I could access my burger. Not a bad thing, but I think I would get them on the side next time for convenience. We actually started with an appetizer of a few pieces of burek to share- one meat and one cheese. We found the meat version to be better than the cheese, which was on the dry side. The burek, when ordered by the piece, is just okay. I suspect it's possibly reheated in the microwave which makes the exterior a bit soft, less crispy. We've never had that issue when ordering a whole burek- it's always been flaky, crispy, and delicious. I would skip the individual pieces next time and order the whole, because any leftovers can be easily reheated and crisped up in the oven, avoiding any sogginess. Service is always good and attentive. An employee was celebrating a birthday when we were there, and staff kindly shared pieces of birthday cake with the diners in the restaurant. Thank you! The only off-putting thing was a table of several men who sat along the back window tables, shifting from one table to the next repeatedly. They finished their meals as we arrived but proceeded to linger there for the duration of our visit and were still there when we left. They seemed to be in the trucking business, as it sounded like they were interviewing at least one person and talking about trucking. People came in to see them and left repeatedly, as if the space was their own office. Many restaurants place a 90-minute limit on a table, which is what I personally think should be done in situations like these, especially when seating inside Babba Grill is already limited, and these individuals don't see the inappropriateness of treating it as their personal office. Disrespectful of the staff's time and the restaurant's space, imo, and affects the ambiance. Hopefully this type of thing doesn't happen to them often. We are already planning for some pastrmajlija on our next trip and we can't wait!

Street parking galore. It was a sleepy evening. There was only one party (of four) when we went in. I have to admit, I was skeptical. But the aroma wafting from the kitchen ... My friend and I shared everything. Generous portions. I stuffed myself beyond what I should have. But I couldn't get enough of the grilled meats and roasted vegetables. I could have eaten nothing but the lepinja and kajmak but putting them altogether was so tasty that I just kept eating and eating. The one woman show - she was awesome. The service was A-1! From the hostesses to the wait staff and management. They were extremely attentive throughout our meal. Instead of just putting the appetizers on the table, our waiter plated them for us. This is probably the only misstep during our meal. He assumed that all of us wanted a piece of each app instead of asking each of us which app we wanted. We ordered stuffed mushrooms and bruschetta. A couple people didn't like mushrooms. Also, we had more people joining us so by plating all the apps upfront there wasn't enough for the rest of our party. Even still he was a great waiter. The food was phenomenal! I got the steak and eggs from the brunch menu. The cut of steak was like a hanger steak. When I say cooked and seasoned to perfection!?! It was one of the best restaurant steaks I've had. Our entire table enjoyed the food we ordered, including the cocktails. The food is pricey, but for an elevated experience or special occasion it is absolutely worth the visit!

The food was FRESH and delicious. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, caprese salad and the spaghetti and meatballs. Everything. Delish. AND there was complimentary carrot cake WITH a sparkler for my birthday. I love this place. I cannot wait to go back... There is a lot for parking.
