We are here on Memorial Day 2014. Great value for the price. Prices are so much better than higher end brunch places in Walnut Creek, but the quality is the same or better. Hubby had Veggie Eggs Benedict. I had a scramble with a ton of chicken and my son (6) had Mickey Mouse pancakes. All were terrific! Yummy! Decor isn't fancy, but clean. This place was in a part of Concord that I have never been to, I never would've knew this place had even existed if it wasn't for Yelp. Once you finally get there you will be greeted by a nice hostess and kindly taken to your seats. The atmosphere is surrounded by pictures of items on the menu. They have specials of the day posted too in case you wanted to see what else you can get that isn't on the menu. People that go to this restaurant seem like they are regulars because everyone knows everyone (including the staff). It's nice to go to a place that has a sense of home or sanctuary in it. The food didn't take too long to come out and the service was good. I enjoyed my brunch a lot and happy I came to this place. Although I probably won't come back just because it is out of my way, but if I am in the area it is for sure on my list of considerations. read more

Very friendly place :-). Had an early morning Saturday breakfast when traveling in the area. So glad we found Gangnam. My hubby liked his omelet with bacon spinach onion cheese and hollandaise sauce. He said it was one of the lightest eggs in an omelet he has had and the hollandaise sauce was good and light too - Didn't get gelatinous as it cooled. My scramble was loaded with spinach tomato apple chicken sausage green onions and cheese. Generous fillings! We both like our hash browns well done and they come out perfect - not burnt or greasy - so many places can't get it right! read more

Great little place for breakfast and brunch. Really glad we stumbled upon it. The staff was friendly and attentive but not in your face. The food was good; great portions and fresh. My wife and I split a meal and the waitress brought out two plates of food which may have been equivalent to two full meals for us. My wife and I aren't big eaters and appreciate places that don't frown on us splitting a dish. So kudos to them for their meal splitting attitude. We didn't try any of the Benedicts as everyone raves about but the scramble was good and the kids were happy with their kids breakfasts. Don't go there for the decor, but if you want a good breakfast for a good price, check this place out. read more

Wanted to try a different breakfast place in Concord and found this little hidden gem. It's behind Costco in an industrial park, but once you walk in, they greet you nicely and everything is so clean! No carpet so it feels much bigger and fresher. Service is fast, well priced, big portions and to top it off their coffee is on point. My gf ordered the meat lovers omelet and boy was it meaty. They did not skimp on the ham, bacon and sausage. I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was delicious. The gravy wasn't over powering and too fatty, it paired perfectly. Eggs ordered over medium and were cooked to perfection accompanied by nicely crisped hash browns. Oh and I recommend that you get the raisin toast. All of this with coffees was under $26. I came to this place for breakfast with my fiancé and it was great! The prices were very reasonable, the service attentive, but above all the food was excellent. How did this place get so many stars?! Because of the ratings we tried it for brunch today. Boy were we disappointed. The place was crowded which is usually a good sign, but the food was "bland" at best. Menu says that Burritos "all come with two scrambled eggs inside plus salsa and sour cream" NOT! No eggs inside. No cheese. The chili was very mediocre (not much flavor) and when i asked for salsa and sour cream (had to ask because when it was served she didn't ask if i wanted any) i was given a quick "sure", but it never came. I'm not sure our waitress even remembered my asking for that (and for water, which came only after a second request). She was standing just a few feet from our table after we were served, but seemed totally distracted and unresponsive. The coffee was stale and bitter and my wife's vegetable omelet, while it had good vegetables, was also very bland (and luke warm). Sorry we tried this place. It was very disappointing. read more

No better no worse than all the other Bay Area places that open before 0700. The best breakfast places open 8 or 9am so for the eateries who purchase lower grade groceries and present a basic diner menu, opening earlier than they prefer is necessary to get customers. This place is super clean and located in an industrial area near concord Costco. The breakfasts are formulaic and what you would expect. The coffee has no body or depth, actually it's pretty bad. It seems the allure of this place is the industrial workers in the neighborhood. This is more of a company canteen than cafe. read more

This a super breakfast place! First of all this place is impeccably clean and neat. It is very rare to see a restaurant at this level of cleanliness. They serve superb fresh quality ingredient food. We have visited this place three times, and every time we walked away with total satisfaction. I had one of their Gangnam specialties, marinated short ribs grilled to perfection, served with steamed mixed vegetables and a scoop of steamed rice. It was so good I ordered that on the next visit. This time I tried a Gangnam specialty, Gangnam scramble. Marinated short ribs, scrambled eggs with Jack pepper cheese and mixed vegetables, served with English muffin.... I think I will order the same item next time I come. My husband had the chicken scramble on the first visit, it was so good that he repeated on the second visit. Delicious chicken breasts crumbled with pepper and mixed vegetables, served with home potatoes and toast. This time he tried the smoked salmon bagel. It was outstanding! The salmon has delicate smoky flavor without the fishy taste, it's served with a fresh bowl of salad. We were so impressed with the quality of the salad. Went for the first time today a little disappointed, no one to greet you when you come in so I was a bit confused do we seat ourselves or what. We see a open table my son ask can we have that table the lady says no people are waiting, with that I was pissed we are waiting and who else is seeing how no one else was standing up like they were waiting, finally another person says we can have the table. After about 10 min of waiting we get a menu, finally we order once the food was brought the waitress never came back to see if we needed anything, we tried to get her attention and she never looked our way. First time to drive behind Costco haha so fist time eating here. Place looked good and staff was friendly. The only problem was the food. I didn't even want to eat the strawberry waffle I ordered bc it was so bland with the batter and it was kinda hard worse waffle. The bacon too was overcooked or recooked. I don't know how you mess up bacon but I had better turkey bacon then that which is kinda crazy. Eggs were just alright and toast not that great. They use cheap ingredients and it shows.
