While devouring some BBQs and downing some cold beer, you can be listening to some live karaokes (good and bad). Maybe you can even get on the stage after a few of those beer tubes. The tube contains only two liters of beer. You can do it. The only reason I give it four stars is that sometimes it's hard to hear your friends around you. I've been craving skewers and this place scratched the itch. I wish this was a grill it yourself location because sometimes they come out a little lukewarm--I'm not sure if this is because they try to bring out all the skewers at once. Despite that, the skewers themselves are really good and super flavorful. The price is typical of any other skewer joint (pricey) but they have a lot of other menu items. My favorite menu item by far was the dan dan noodles. It's not the typical dan dan noodles you expect, these are more peanut-y and are udon noodles rather than egg noodles. But it's chilled, and nutty, and super delicious. We also got the kimchi fried rice--which was not super memorably. It just tasted like kimchi fried rice. We got the fried cold noodle which was also not super memorable. It was basically a pan fried egg with some sausage inside. We also got the spicy chicken noodle which was MASSIVE. It says it serves 3-5 people, but we split it amongst 9 people. The noodles were a tad overcooked so it was a bit mushy, but the potatoes and chicken were super flavorful and savory--and the dish was not too spicy. There were even whole garlic clove chunks which were really yummy on their own as well. The potatoes, chicken, and garlic seems to be braised and the flavor is cooked all the way through. The food here is good, but service can get chaotic and slow--especially on weekend nights. The waiters only speak Chinese and there's only two or three people working. If you come here, definitely be patient! read more

The dan dan noodles were served cold adding a refreshing & savory element to our meal. The spicy chicken w/ flat noodle is HUGE. The chicken fell off of the bone and there were lots of potatoes that soaked in the delicious numbing sauce. The skewers all had a nice smoky flavor. I do wish that the hot dishes were warmer when they were served to us, but there were only 2 waiters working the entire restaurant. KARAOKE, Their machine has a very wide selection of songs with American, Japanese, Vietnamese, etc. The instructions for the machine are all in Chinese so to get to the American songs you click on the first tab with a mic. For alcohol, we did a BEER TOWER & YOGURT SOJU. You can choose to do the full tower or HALF. We did half for 3 people. I was quite excited to try this place because my friends said it was good, but while the food was good, the service was quite poor. The first round we ordered went smoothly, but when we asked for more I made sure to communicate with the server (even in Chinese) what I wanted and he repeated it back to me. The order wasn't even put in! We didn't realize until way later. They didn't even really apologize for it either. They could have maybe at least checked up on us since we looked like idiots waiting so long for the food that wasn't coming. I was not able to try the food but it smelled good. I was disappointed at how disorganized they were. They have a sign outside to scan a QR code to be placed on a waiting list. There was no host just waiters who randomly talk to those waiting in the cramped entryway (no waiting lobby or seats inside to wait) and that is after they are flagged down. There was a woman who I gathered had been waiting a long time. She asked three other people standing in that same entryway how long they had been waiting and confirmed with them they had all arrived prior to the couple that was seated before them. There is plenty of parking. They share an open lot in a huge restaurant and shopping plaza. The waiters need better training. The guy that responded to the lady who flagged him down was empathetic but he really was not aware of what was going on. No fault to him because he didn't seat the couple that I gathered jumped the line. From what I understood they were waiting like everyone else standing in the entryway but I guess due to personal space or strategy they actually stood in the restaurant as opposed to the remainder of us who were standing cramped like sardines in the entryway and the other two parties who decided to wait outside. He mentioned the waitlist which is how I realized the waitlist is Mandatory otherwise you will be standing around thinking a host will take your name and five other people had added their names to the waitlist despite arriving after you. I am just giving an example for context. He also mentioned sometimes they seat people by skipping others if they are an influencer. We shouldn't have known this and there are ways to handle that discretely so it doesn't upset those who had been waiting. Also there is no acknowledgement of the wait list. It doesn't update like you are now 5th in line, 3rd in line, next in line. I never got a text even as I write this review the next day. I still haven't received a text that my table is ready. I left after waiting for 15 minutes. Kind of disappointed because this area isn't close to me and this experience discouraged me from wanting to try again. I do like that they are open late but maybe that's why they were so busy because others were happy too a restaurant that seems to serve appetizing food is open after hours. read more
