    Dry garlic bread. No flavor.
    Jennifer D.

This place needs work. Came in at 6:30pm on a Tuesday night with my family. The place was empty but 5 employees were working behind the counter. None of them greeted us, instead gave us a look like we were interrupting or they were about to close. We asked if they were about to close, they said no. Ordered the XL pizza and garlic bread. The pizza was ok but the garlic bread was an insult to any Italian. It was bread with cheese and garlic powder. Dry and bland. My ancestors are rolling in their graves. Chop up some garlic or worst case use jarred garlic but garlic powder...C'mon Service was terrible. Ambiance = terrible... put some music on and greet your customers.

I wish I could give it half stars, but I rounded up. It's the only pizza place here in Middleton so it is always very busy. However, even for a Friday night it only took about 35 minutes to pick up and bring home. I feel like the pizzas are getting smaller too. To start off, their crust is amazing. It's always perfectly cooked and flavorful. Anyway, the Hawaiian was just okay, it didn't seem like Canadian bacon but smoked ham. The pepperoni and mushroom was pretty good. I think the sauce on the pizzas could use a little work. Long story short, not the best pizza in the world but it does do the trick.

Food was very good and the server did a great job. We had to wait quite awhile to be seated, however.

Ordered a pizza for delivery and not impressed. Pizza was greasy, burnt on the bottom and Luke warm. Will not order from there again.

The pies are fresh baked. My favorite dessert are the chocolate chip cookies with sea salt on top. I have also been there for prime rib. The portion is generous and cooked to your taste buds. The potato and salad bar are top notch. This is a quiet place where you can enjoy a meal and a conversation. The owners are friendly. Depending upon the time of day, there might be a wait for food, but something you would expect for home made food.

This was my first time eating at the restaurant and my husband's second time. While I can't give it…read morefive stars I won't say it was a bad experience, it just wasn't great. Let me start with the pros. The service was incredibly friendly. The food was delivered to our table still hot, which is a huge plus for me. The bacon on the loaded fries was absolutely delicious. The flavor of my prime rib dip sandwich itself was pretty good. Now for the cons. We ordered the loaded fries appetizer for $8 and were both surprised by how small the portion was. I knew the moment I saw the cup of au jus for my prime rib dip that it wasn't going to have much flavor, and I was right. It was more like basic beef broth straight from a can. Au jus is what makes a French dip so good but this just didn't cut it. My husband ordered a patty melt and after just a few bites, he had a strange look on his face. I asked him what was wrong and he said the taste and texture of the meat was unusual to him. I looked at it and took it bite myself and agreed. The only way to describe it is like the patty was made up of ground Slim Jim beef sticks or something like it. My husband didn't particularly care for it and he also felt like everything was over seasoned. When he questioned our server about what kind of meat was used in his sandwich, she couldn't explain what the difference was between his sandwich and what they use in their burgers, just that it was a different patty of some sort. Another con is that all of their salad dressings at their salad bar or in squeeze bottles. My dressing of choice is blue cheese, which doesn't squeeze well from a bottle when the chunks of cheese gets stuck in the nozzle. Not a big deal, but frustrating when you're trying to squeeze it onto your salad praying that it doesn't suddenly explode all over the place. Two sandwiches, one with a side salad substitution for fries, and a small plate of loaded fries and waters to drink was a $50 dinner. As I said at the beginning It wasn't a bad experience, it just wasn't great. For a $50 dinner it was just okay. But I would definitely give it five stars for the friendly service and the fact that the food was served hot.

Since we were eager to try it out again and didn't see a line, we yanked our car into a parking spot and ran in for lunch. Ordering went quickly but we had a little sticker shock when it was $34 for two small sandwiches with chip/drink combos. Add in tip and it was almost $38. That's more than we expected to spend. I was also quite disappointed to see that they took away my beloved Diet Pepsi and replaced with Pepsi Zero (this is not the same!!!!). Double whammy with high prices and I didn't get my only choice for a drink. It wasn't just me, two people who walked past me said "no Diet Pepsi?". At least I wasn't alone. Food still took much longer than we thought to get out, with no lines and only a few people at tables and an occasional door dash driver showing up. After about 20 minutes our sandwiches arrived and we were famished. My chicken bacon ranch sandwich was oozing with ranch, chicken and bacon were hot and the overall flavor was exceptional. However, the chicken was in thin, craggy pieces that were texturally unappealing. I would have appreciated juicy chunks or even strips. My husband truly suffered with his standard turkey sandwich. He kept telling me how dry it was, so I tried some to see if he was being a drama llama. The turkey was so dry that I had to fill my mouth with lemonade to swallow it down. If everything was perfect, I wouldn't mind paying that price for two sandwich combos, but this wasn't the case. Probably won't be going back.

Honestly, the menu has so much to choose from it's almost overwhelming. I love that you can sample whatever soups you want before ordering. And the sandwiches come in half or full so if you don't want a big meal, there's still something for you. My mom had the Reuben melt with tomato basil soup and I had the grilled pastrami and cheese with broccoli cheddar soup. We both were quite pleased with our meals. The service was friendly and the food came out faster than we expected. Both sandwiches had crusty melted cheese all around the edges which was so yummy. With so many options on the menu, we will definitely be back to try more.

This isn't a large dining area but it magically was able to accommodate all of these people. The menu is a tad overwhelming, with so many options of everything from sandwiches, teas, smoothies, coffee, breakfast options, salads and soups. I would strongly suggest checking out the website prior to coming in only because making a decision from the menu takes some time. A lot of people just stood there struggling with their internal debates over what to eat. We ordered the grilled cheese with chicken sandwich and the chipotle turkey cold sandwich as a combo (with chips and a regular sized drink). The prices overall are great, especially the combo, considering the size of portions. Just a large drink alone is $2.99 but the combo is also $2.99, which makes for a reasonably affordable meal. The food came out shockingly fast...it almost didn't seem possible to see our food within moments of sitting down at the table. The grilled cheese was steaming, with freshly grated cheese melted to perfection. The grilled chicken was nicely encased in the cheese. However, after a few moments the cheese started to "coagulate" and it was not as fun to eat. It would be better if there was some sauce inside, the chicken was seasoned or a tomato, just something to break up the richness and tone down the heaviness. Overall, we deeply appreciated the fresh cheese but the sandwich was pretty bland. My chipotle turkey sandwich was huge....way larger than I expected. It was stacked with thinly sliced fresh turkey, tender crisp tomatoes, shredded lettuce and chipotle mayo. The ingredients were incredibly fresh and delectable, though I could not taste any chipotle flavor. Chip selection was great and love that they have Coke products so I could enjoy a Diet Coke.

It was pretty good but not like any banh mi I've had at all. No pickled veggies and the sandwich bread was a far cry from a banh mi baguette. Great bread though! I just thought the name was very misleading and it would've been better to just call it a massaman curry sandwich. I really liked the spiced yam slices, but I felt like the peanut butter almost overpowered the yam sometimes. Could've been lighter on the PB. I ordered the combo meal which was supposed to be a 1/2 sandwich plus a side. If the sandwich portion I got was only a half, then the full size must be huge. I kind of suspect I got a full sandwich. I had the beet salad for my side. It was tasty and fresh, and also pretty sizeable. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic. The wait time for food was reasonable given that they seemed busy. The loft seating was nice.

Everyone has been patient with my questions, they offer a deal every day of the week and their prices are reasonable! I ordered the Viking pizza and one-topping sausage, both medium for $22. Both pizzas baked up as instructions indicated; we pulled off the baking round (that comes with it) for the last few minutes of baking to crisp up the crust. It's obvious that each pizza is made with care, each ingredient looks hand made. We were honestly kind of surprised at the level of freshness we had in each bite. The sauce had a spicier tang than I'm used to, but it was also hearty and a perfect complement to each topping. The Viking is a "must have"! I would prefer a thicker crust but I can forgive that since this pizza tasted great overall. Do not pass this place up.
