Tried this spot Bc we had Groupon. We ordered triple slider tater tots with cheese and chicken pesto penne. We also had Gaslamp margarita and a Moscow mule. The sliders and tater tots were really food. The chicken pesto penne was bland. I wouldn't order that again. The chicken was a tad bit dry and had an aftertaste. We also had the cheesecake for dessert which was good. It's karaoke night too. We loved the entertainment. And we had an awesome server. She was so nice and friendly and attentive to our needs. I like this place and recommend it! It's safe with lots of security. It has a great vibe, great music, drinks.. I've only had appetizers so not gonna judge on food. I've been here more than a handful of times and every time I have had great fun. I have met super cool people. If you like country music, great line dancing and music. Dance floor, patio with nice fire pit. I've been to the metal jam charity event and recommend that! Ironic this year my High School reunion is being held here this summer.. lol read more

this was my view for a $60 ticket for the Winehouse Experience. Yes, people are on the stage and no, I can't see a single person or instrument. It was totally unacceptable to place people in these "seats" for a dinner + show event. manager suggested we stand in GA (with our dinner plates?) or that we should've asked to sit somewhere else. These are not solutions. Not happy and not a great way to spend my 30th birthday. These seats shouldn't even be an option for a ticketed seat. It was my 40th birthday and I am in my third trimester of pregnancy. Let me start there. My friend got us tickets for the 27 Tribute concert on Jan 20th. It was the perfect tribute concert for my birthday. We arrived, there was no parking and no overflow parking. There are no residential or side streets to park on. They are all gated communities. My friend went inside to ask about where to park. They directed us to the strip mall across the street. I told him they could tow my car but I agreed to head over and investigate signage. Sure enough, parking is for customers only and only during business hours. No way was I leaving my car there til 2am. The hotel next door agreed to let us park there and we walked over. Next complaint, the UFC fight was on and they were not going to start the concert til after it was done, despite the concert slated for 9pm sharp. Someone asked if the UFC people would clear out some parking and space. They were told most people were here for the concert. So why were most people asked to wait for a UFC fight? I told employee #1 I was pregnant and just needed a place to sit. He said no seats were available. Never mind the empty chair next to him. I asked the hostess, again, reiterating I am 3rd trimester pregnant. She directed me to the smoker's patio. There were no seats by heating lamps so I sat on a damp concrete partition while smoke aggravated my head cold. So we sat in my car. We sat in my car for an hour and 15 min until the UFC fight was over. When my friend, who was watching the fight in Venice, texted me it was over, I dragged myself back inside. We asked for a cup of hot tea and we're told it would take at least 40 min. So my friend didn't get it for me. The acts could only perform 6-8 songs each as the fight cut so deeply into the concert. In between sets, I rested on the couches by the merchandise table. A woman told me it was VIP only and chased us out so three couches could remain empty for the rest of the night. My stomach, knees and back ached badly. In fact they still do. I have a horrible head cold now, thank you. I would not go back to the Gaslamp for any event or reason whatsoever. However the 27 Tribute concert does travel. Hopefully, I can see them again in a better venue. read more

We had a great Dinner date and drinks Saturday night. 8-29-20 With Oingo Boingo Tribute Bank. They're spot on correct!! Our service by Lexie and others was perfect. Food was also very good. Atlantic Salmon for me and my date M P , had the Salmon and Salad. Of course started with unique tasty Brussels sprouts. The venue is very Covid Creative. The Owner Mike is doing a fantastic job and his Puppy Missy is Adorable. Thanks Mike and the team.! So looking for a great food and service ? Stop on by you will be so impressed. Went to Gaslamp located in Long Beach this past Saturday to see some live bands, we purchased tickets for. I don't think we'll be going back any time soon. They had about 100 people over capacity, making it very uncomfortable to move about and extremely unsafe. A total fire exit hazard waiting to happen. read more

Disappointing with the bouncer. Very rude and unprofessional. The atmosphere is destroyed when your y feel uncomfortable. I don't even drink more than a couple. This was my second time here And thought I give it another chance. But doorman and bouncer doesn't make you feel welcome or safe. In fact, they were rude. So disappointed in their Customer Service! I booked a table for a large group for my bday a month prior and they failed to inform me that I also needed to purchase tickets to see the show. I have been to this bar twice before and ticket purchase was not required as long as you were there before 8pm. The bouncer was so rude and condescending while I was explaining this to the Hostess (she was nice). We had no problem paying, but why can't they inform you if changes have been made to how they operate. Or at least speak to you with respect and not ruin the night before it starts. The next issue was that apparently they only allow 2 cards to be processed per table. When booking the reservation I confirmed if we were able to pay with multiple cards since we were a large group, the girl said yes as many as you want, but the minimum had to be met . At the end of the night they charged so many things to the wrong bills and some things that were paid already were on the check again. It was so chaotic that we just paid everything. The last issue was the 80's Band. Not only did they start almost an hour late, they took so many breaks in btw sets! I would not have called them an 80s band either, it was a mixture of 80s, 90s and 2000 music, but barely 80s. The DJ music transition was also abysmal! Not worth the $15 ticket fee. They also crammed so many tables together that it was impossible to get through. You basically had to be on top of a stranger just to get by. The only reason I had a blast on my bday was because of my family/friends that came out to celebrate with me! read more

Oh boy, where do I start? Okay something positive: 80s night with KnyghtRyder, super fun. Band is awesome! But I'll leave my review for them on their page...the restaurant itself bad bad bad. I had called ahead to make a reservation, table near the stage (which there is) and accessible. I got there with my party, on of my friends is a wheelchair user and they claimed they had nothing available (they did! The table was even empty!) so they tossed us in a table by a far corner, awkwardly placed. Then to even get a server to give us water, 15 min wait, to get our actual drinks about another 15 min. Oh and my $12 old fashions (muddled marrachino cherries with ice water and whiskey) spilling through the glass so I got an half filled but full priced cocktail. To order food we also had to wait, oh but the table next to us got immediate service! Ordered our food and appetizers. Our appetizing nachos, cold, no flavor, stale warmed up chips, meat was not flavored, no love out into it. Sad plate of "nachos" I've seen better nachos at a movie theatre. We ordered a 2nd round of drinks...never came. Food arrived, of course wrong, went back and forth twice. Finally because we where starving we just took it. And again disappointed....no flavor, tomatoes bisque soup tasted like it's from Campbell's! And COLD! Dear management: please please upgrade your seasonings for food, train staff, also a little ADA TRAINING would go a long long long way!!!! read more

So tonight was a very bad experience for us. We were celebrating a friend's birthday. We know California is open & masks are optional. Nevertheless, we were wearing our masks, just felt safer with it. On the dance floor, having a great time when this "Karen" came up to us, assaulted my friend by forcefully removing her mask off her face. Then she yelled saying that we must be sick for wearing it. Well "Karen", last i check masks are optional & a preference. You cant enforce your belief of not wearing one on me or anyone else! "Karen & friends" were recording us while making fun of us. We called security, Karen then denied everything she & her friends did to us. She made it as if we were attacking her. Security was not so helpful, it seems like they were listening more to them. That was a disappointment so we left. Gaslamp should really beef up your security. We felt attacked not just because we were wearing our masks but we're also asians. Hubby ordered a $12.00 wedge salad, it was a wedge of lettuce and miniscule amount of dressing, blue cheese crumbles and teeny, tiny bacon bits I ordered the $26.00 short rib dinner, it was a massive amount of mashed potatoes and a tiny dab of short rib. The root vegetables were very good, so that's a plus but not enough to justify $26.00. Drinks were $14.00 Velvet Cherry, hubby ordered vodka with a lemon twist. Can't recall the price on his were mostly ice. Even with the Groupon coupon, it was sub par. Never again! read more

Everything but the service from our waitress was great. Came to see Queen Nation the other night and had so much fun. My mother was accommodated with ADA seating; that worked out well, food and atmosphere were good. My ONLY complaint is: our waitress forgot our appetizer and didn't admit it when we asked. She gave us about three different reasons why it hadn't come out before our meal. We got our dinners and the appetizer came after had started eating. Then we tried to order a coffee, a few times, after dinner. Asked a few times for the coffee and it never came nor was it mentioned by the waitress when she brought the check. Where do I begin.... this place is absolutely horrible. The service was bad, some people at our table didn't even get their entrees, and/or food came out before our drinks, they made us put a card on file then proceeded to put the entire bill on the card instead of asking us if we wanted to split the bill with other people at our table (we didn't even know some of these people at our table so asking us would've been nice) then to top it off they took it upon themselves to add additional gratuity. Because our party was big there was gratuity automatically added but since their service was so bad we specifically did not add additional gratuity, then a week later I noticed on my my bank statement that they added extra. read more
