I asked for coffee and she handed me a menu and she asked if I knew what I wanted to eat. I said I needed some time to look at the menu and she frowned and walked away without saying a word. It was obvious she thought I was going to be there a while and didn't want me sitting at the table long. She returned with the coffee and said "You know if it gets busy...." leaving the sentence hanging. I replied I would leave if it did (the restaurant only had maybe 3 tables full at that point, by the time I left at 640 there were two tables empty). After eating the food, which was quite good, I promptly packed up and left as soon as I could 25 minutes after being seated. I walked down to Brewed Awakenings, got a coffee there and sat down at my computer to do some work. In a small restaurant I totally understand that you need to keep tables moving so there is not a wait, but there is a polite and subtle way to message to a patron that they need to move along so other folks can sit down. You can deliver the check early, ask if you are finished, ask if there is anything else you need. Ways to communicate to a patron that they need the table. This was certainly not it. I eat out often, I tip very well, but I have to say this is the first time I felt unwelcome and rushed at a place in a very, very long time. While the food was good, this was not the way to start off day 2 of my roadtrip. In today's economy, making your customers feel like they need to eat and run, and doing so in a rude way, is a master class in how to make your restaurant fail. I do not recommend this place.

Food-wise, everything was just... mid. I ordered the Smokehouse Burger with fries. The burger itself was fine, but there wasn't much flavor. The pulled pork on top was absolutely drenched in BBQ sauce that tasted like it came straight from a grocery store bottle, and it completely overpowered everything else. The fries arrived room temperature and bland. I ended up covering them in salt and dipping them in ketchup, which I rarely do. My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese. The mac and cheese didn't taste fresh, wasn't very hot, and was lacking flavor. The chicken was decent, and the bread on the side was okay, but nothing stood out. The one thing I really did enjoy was the theming. The restaurant fits the Bearizona atmosphere well, and I appreciated the rustic lodge feel. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the setting. The ingredients felt low quality, and there wasn't any exceptional service to make up for it. If we visit Bearizona again, we'll probably eat in town before heading to the park. I'm glad we tried it once, but once was enough.

The menu has a good variety with both food items and drinks (coffee, tea, smoothies, sodas, etc.). This was our last stop before hitting the road back to Vegas, and it was strong and tasty. There aren't a ton of coffee options in town but it's easy to see why this is the favorite.

They were generous with the cheese and the meats, and you could tell that they were using a very good quality meat. It was an excellent pizza. They had a couple of "Arizona gunslinger" hot sauces is on the table. I didn't care for the red sauce, but I loved the green sauce. It's a jalapeño based sauce, but the jalapeño didn't take over the rest of the sauce. It had a complex slightly sweet flavor, and not too much of a "kick". It said "smokin ' hot" on the bottle, but it wasn't all heat. The complex flavor played very well with the heat I liked it so much, I asked if they sold it in their gift shop, and they said no, but there was a shop a couple of doors down that carries it. After waiting in line, there is a tiny sign at the register that they are out of several products - no pulled chicken, pulled pork, texas twinkies, or wings. The last two were going to be in my order, so we did a quick pivot for a Partner Platter for $45, with ribs, brisket, sausage, mac and cheese, and beans. It should have been a red flag that they didn't ask if I wanted lean or fatty cut brisket. What arrived was a mess. My husband asked what proteins I got because it wasn't visually evident. The ribs had a bark on them that was 2/3rds of the way to jerky. The brisket was so shredded and dry, even their three house sauces couldn't save it. The sausage was served split and cut side town, because it too was dry AF. I hate letting protein go to waste but these were awful. Sides were fine, my toddler inhaled half the macaroni and the beans were okay. Cornbread has a bit of jalapeno in it, which I prefer over sweeter versions that are more common. But damn, this was a $50+ meal that basically fed a two year old. Service throughout was super friendly. It's not the food runner's fault that the kitchen is serving up dried out proteins and I am understanding about the fact that their walk in supposedly crapped out (the explanation we were given for so many items being unavailable). None of the other customers seemed visibly upset by their food quality, but I gradually noticed most people were ordering burgers, so maybe we ordered wrong. But if this is the norm for the barbecue they serve, they need to take it off the menu altogether. So many things sounded good, but I was incredibly happy with my choice of the Canyon Club. My sandwich was huge and stacked with quality meat. I chose fried pickles as my side and it was a mighty generous portion. My husband had the Patty Melt with a side of fries. He usually has no problem finishing his meal, but his sandwich and fry portion was also so big he struggled to finish. He was also happy with the portion size and flavor. The inside felt like a museum with how well maintained some of the historical elements were. Booths were very comfy, even for us plus sized folks, and there were two gender neutral restrooms on site. You can enter the cafe through the main front door or down the back alley off Route 66. We usually come to Williams once per year (sometimes twice); we'll definitely be making this our go-to lunch spot!

I had a smoky old fashioned to start my night and I kept going back to how great it smelled and how smooth the taste was. I chose to have it with their own house bourbon. Food wise, we went with their Canyon Tacos and shared an order of tots. The frybread was crispy and pillowy, the meat was very well seasoned and the pickled red onion really brought the whole dish together. The tots were nice and crispy without being too oily. The place itself was like walking into Williams itself. Lot of wood and mountain core decor with a small creek/wishing fountain. The front part of the place is where you'll find their gift shop. There is also some games upstairs. And they sell their beers and spirits. This is a great place to spend a few hours.
