The setup is counter-service, and one thing that caught me off guard was being asked to choose whether we wanted to sit upstairs or downstairs before we'd even seen either area. I picked upstairs, but after getting up there, I probably would have preferred downstairs. The upstairs bar was closed, which made the space feel a little empty. Food-wise, everything was just... mid. I ordered the Smokehouse Burger with fries. The burger itself was fine, but there wasn't much flavor. The pulled pork on top was absolutely drenched in BBQ sauce that tasted like it came straight from a grocery store bottle, and it completely overpowered everything else. The fries arrived room temperature and bland. I ended up covering them in salt and dipping them in ketchup, which I rarely do. My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese. The mac and cheese didn't taste fresh, wasn't very hot, and was lacking flavor. The chicken was decent, and the bread on the side was okay, but nothing stood out. The one thing I really did enjoy was the theming. The restaurant fits the Bearizona atmosphere well, and I appreciated the rustic lodge feel. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the setting. The ingredients felt low quality, and there wasn't any exceptional service to make up for it. If we visit Bearizona again, we'll probably eat in town before heading to the park. Pretty extensive menu, and the gal taking orders in the drive thru was super helpful and sweet. My oldest opted not to get anything, but my youngest and I settled on a blueberry muffin for each of us and she got a peach, banana mango smoothie and I got a chai latte. The blueberry muffins were perfect. Should have asked for them to be warmed up slightly, but still delicious. My daughter loved her smoothie. They asked me if I wanted my chai latte sweet, spicy or a mix of both. I opted for a mix of both. Honestly, this was probably the best chai latte I've ever had in my life! The place looks really cute too! The street you exit out of the drive thru on is also one way, so be mindful of that when exiting.

Beers, cocktails, nonalcoholic beverages, cans to-go, and food is all ordered up at the bar. There was 1 lone employee working the bar; taking orders, pouring beers, mixing cocktails, and closing people out at the register. This was so incredibly inefficient, particularly on such a busy day. I stood in line 3 separate times (once to initially order two pints, a second time to order a flight of other beers we wanted to taste, and a final time to purchase two cans to-go and close out my tab); each time in line took between 15-25 minutes. The girl behind the bar was very friendly and she was working as quickly as possible while maintaining a relatively happy attitude, but boy did I feel bad for her. Management really messed this up; someone needed to step in and help. With such a big celebration in town that day, there needed to be a minimum of 3 employees manning the bar to take orders and get drinks. As for the beer itself, as usual it's just average. Great if you're looking for something cold to enjoy, but not memorable if you're a craft beer nerd. We went in knowing what the quality would be, but still wanted to try all the new beers since we hadn't been in a couple of years. We didn't eat while there, but in the past when we have, the food is good. The knock of two stars was simply for the horrible management of orders. I don't know when they decided to get rid of waiters and put all the pressure onto the bartender, but geez what an awful decision that was.

All three meats came out cold. Even if they had been hot, the flavor was pretty meh. We went back for another round of drinks and ordered the watermelon margarita special for Memorial Day and another beer. The guy at the register rang the margarita up as $12 even though the sign right next to him clearly said $8. He corrected it when I pointed it out, but it felt shady. I chose fried pickles as my side and it was a mighty generous portion. My husband had the Patty Melt with a side of fries. He usually has no problem finishing his meal, but his sandwich and fry portion was also so big he struggled to finish. He was also happy with the portion size and flavor. The inside felt like a museum with how well maintained some of the historical elements were. Booths were very comfy, even for us plus sized folks, and there were two gender neutral restrooms on site. You can enter the cafe through the main front door or down the back alley off Route 66. We usually come to Williams once per year (sometimes twice); we'll definitely be making this our go-to lunch spot!
