    Fried Gatorade Tail
    Bobby J.

Pretty disappointed with the food here...... The fried gator tail was tough, and the breading looked off. It should have been cooked longer...... I also ordered the Gator Style Honey Garlic wings and the came out with FRESH CHOPPED GARLIC all over it..... all I could taste was raw garlic. I love garlic but not RAW GARLIC all over my food....... That's just stupid........ I sent the wings back and ordered the fried shrimp platter. That was actually pretty good...... Probably wouldn't return. Prices on EVERYTHING was outrageous as well!!

Blackened Fish Tacos - Excellent value at $7.99

I was in Deland on a Sunday afternoon and decided to find somewhere to grab a bite and watch some of the NFL Games. I'm familiar with Gator's as there are a few around Orlando. They're famous for their wings, but I did not partake (although I love their grilled "scooter" wings). The menu here also was a bit smaller than the other locations I've been, but could be a product of the pandemic too. Fried Pickles - Wow, if you've ever eaten fried pickles and were frustrated with all of the breading falling off, then you need to try these bad boys. You can bite into these bad boys and get a nice crunch and pickle combo without them falling apart. I ended up just putting each full delicious bad boy in at once as they weren't that big where you need to bite them. Fish Tacos - I took a chance and ordered blackened instead of fried and I was super happy I did. They were healthier, but the fish was so moist and flavorful that I didn't miss the crunch of the fried version. There was also a lot of fish on each taco. Fish Sandwich - This reminds me of the fish sandwiches from eastern PA where the piece of fish is WAY bigger than the bun. Excellent crispy flakey fish. Service was great and the wait staff were all friendly and in their NFL gear to add to the atmosphere. They had a bunch of different NFL games on so if you're looking to watch a game you might not have on your TV set at home, this may be a good spot.

Here's the main entrance. We took this on our way out just so we could remember. Thank you folks.

Good food but service sucks. They acted like we were bothering them. Had to wait a long time and the waitress seemed really young and really didn't care about much anything. Had tp practically for them to let us pay so we could leave.

This one is four orders of one wing flavor and four of another with the soggy soft curly fries that had to be reheated in the air fryer

Great group of girls so service is always on point! Their scooter sauce is fab and their homemade bleu cheese dressing is literally life

Typical sports bar atmosphere. Great wings, plenty of sauce choices. This place gets my vote for a night out with friends.

The gator is chewy, the place looks dirty, and the pool tables need some serious TLC. We were very underwhelmed and don't plan on returning.

Food was pretty good but overpriced imo. Would rather spend that much at an upscale restaurant.

We hit an absolute jackpot at Regan's Orange City Kitchen. Once I let Kayla know what my surprise plans were, her, Karen, and the rest of the crew all joined in on the surprise and made the impossible happen! They made it a special moment she will never forget. My daughter ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs and loved it all! My mom ordered the eggs benedict, and I ordered their classic pancakes with eggs and bacon, and everything was so good! The food reminded me of the nostalgic home kitchen style food, that your grandmother would make and put smiles on everyone's faces. My mother who is visiting from out of town is from the South and used to good cooking, and she was impressed. I had no idea that this place was around and they said they were here for 13 years. Boy was I missing out!! It used to be Perkins, but this is now my go to brunch spot for the weekend. We were in good hands, and they provided the most sincere encouragement, support, and congratulations to our new high school graduate. All five stars, I highly recommend and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for helping us make my daughter's graduation dream come true! I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant in Orange City. We will return!

The ambiance was inviting, stylish, and felt like the perfect setting for a weekend experience with friends. The food overall was good. The shrimp and grits were definitely the highlight for me full of flavor and well done. The steak, however, wasn't my favorite and didn't quite hit the mark. The fruit bowl was exactly that fruit in a bowl nothing special but fresh. The banana pudding was delicious and a sweet way to end the meal. The service was a bit inconsistent, which I believe was due to the waitress being very busy. There were a few moments where we waited longer than expected for menus, straws, or even water. While noticeable, it didn't completely take away from the experience and felt more like a staffing issue than a lack of care. Overall, I would absolutely return for brunch with friends. The atmosphere alone makes it worth another visit, and with the right company, it's a great spot to enjoy a relaxed and beautiful brunch experience.

For appetizers, we tried the coconut shrimp, Table tots, spinach dip, and charcuterie. Everything was fantastic except the shrimp, which were a bit overcooked. The rest of the starters were flavorful and well prepared. Most of our group ordered the NY strip since they were out of the filet, while others chose the meatloaf, mushroom pasta, and a few other dishes. Portions were generous and the food was tasty. While the strip wasn't the best I've had, it was cooked perfectly. Dessert was a bit hit or miss. We tried all the pies -- most were decent and nicely presented, though nothing stood out. The salted caramel cheesecake had a grainy texture rather than being smooth. Service was friendly, but a little rushed. Courses came out too quickly, making it hard to enjoy each one before the next arrived. The table became crowded with plates, and the pace felt chaotic at times. The server was kind and seemed possibly overwhelmed. Overall, a good meal with solid food, but pacing and a few execution details could use some attention.
