They can't guarantee how long it's going to last because the transmission is actually Having issues but he said it could last 100 miles or 100,000 miles. They failed to reinstall the control valve inside the oil cap and used a cheap, poor-fitting aftermarket oil filter. This caused severe internal damage -- metal shavings were found in the oil, and the engine ultimately failed. BMW confirmed the failure was due to poor oil control caused by that missing valve. To make matters worse, their handling of the situation has been completely unprofessional and unethical. Instead of standing behind their work, they've shown how untrustworthy and careless their process truly is. Instead of owning up to their mistake, they've now resorted to accusing us of spreading lies about their business -- which is not only false but completely immoral. Trying to discredit customers rather than taking accountability for their own negligence is beyond unprofessional. It's embarrassing, and it says everything about the way they operate. This was not a small mistake -- it was complete carelessness that totaled my car. What should have been a simple oil change turned into a $40,000 disaster. There was a minor scratch on it, but considering my car is 8 years old, I thought it was worth trying to save some money. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday, and it was ready a couple of days later. They managed to salvage the chrome trim piece by handling it with care. They also detailed the car both inside and out.
