I wanted a second opinion hoping for a more affordable solution and a coworker recommended for me to ask Rocky at Napa Tire Experts for help. He was able to quickly identify that while the wheel was indeed cracked and could not be repaired, the tire was undamaged. In the end, they got me back on the road for less than half the cost of the dealership, and were honest about the fact that I didn't need to buy any tires. Rocky also took the time to explain to me what types of tires work well on electric cars so that I know what to look for when I need tires next time.

I discovered that the sensor was close to the exhaust pipe and that the mechanic had banged against it which broke the seal between the muffler and the exhaust pipe!
