I would like to extend my thanks to the service department from our most recent visit from October 4, 2019, for a recall issue and possible A/C leak diagnosis. Andy Lopez was our service advisor. While we denied service to diagnose our A/C issue (out-of-warranty $180=diagnosis! Oi!), we were pleasantly surprised at the speedy service otherwise. (We had a same-day appointment too.) I had left a review a couples of weeks ago about my truck being taken for joyride with out my consent and it turn out they wanted to ratify this giving me a full tank and oil change. Spoke to Tony and he told me I could come whenever since my name was in the system. Went to today and he told me himself that he couldn't give a me full tank of gas because the manager with gas card wasn't there after I had called them prior to going three times if it was ok to go that day they said yes. I don't understand how this fucking dealership doesn't understand customer service Brett needs to do a better job hiring service managers because if this doesn't show any indication on how he's running the service part do the dealership I don't know what does. My very last visit ever to a chevy dealership. It was a very rocky road having work on my car done here. But, I decided I would get an estimate to sell them my car. The guy I met with was very nice and easy going. I was very surprised that they didn't want a mechanic to check out my car or hook it up to a diagnostic machine. He just asked for my car keys. I think he just confirmed my crazy low mileage and interior quality. He came back maybe 20 minutes later with an offer. I got an instant cash offer from carvana online before I came. They offered me 2,000. So, I knew if I sold it privately according to Kelly blue book I could get 5,500. Of course they want to make money since they are selling for a profit. I wanted 3,000. But, I realistically thought I would be offered 2,500. They literally offered exactly that. So, I accepted since I already bought a car. So,far it went well. Waiting for the paperwork was not quick. It was about 45 min. I didn't love waiting in their uncomfortable room. I assumed I was done. Oh no, it was another 45 min wait for the check! Why does finance take so long? They said only a few people can sign the check? Look, after visiting Lexus, chevy was an extreme let down. But, you get what you pay for. Hilariously, I got a voice-mail and missed call from chevy the next day. They wanted to reschedule my appointment because according to them I never showed up!!! Not only did I go to my appointment, I was there for 2 hours selling my car. They really need to work on their customer service. read more

Horrible experience. I purchased my truck back in 2019. Brought it in for service. The work was spotty but the worst of it was someone crashed my truck. They fixed it not to my satisfaction. It was a nightmare waited over a week and a half to get it back. They offered a horrible Hertz rental in the interim. The rental smelled of marijuana and it sat in my driveway while I waited for the damages to be completed. Stay away from this dealership. My truck got fixed in a couple days and he kept true to what he said and updated me when steps were completed and I was able to come get the truck. Everything went incredibly smooth here. I went to George Chevrolet after checking a different dealership closer to me near La Mirada. Mario Zepeda was my sales advisor and he was awesome. I like how he and George Chevrolet do business. There was no dealer markup on the Bolt EUV that we purchased. I appreciated Mario's honesty as he showed me the only one they had in stock didn't pressure me. He explained the features of the car and worked with me to get every discount I qualified for, Costco and Educator Discount. Mario and the team at George helped me to get a $500 EVgo credit with my EV and they also signed me up to get my carpool lane sticker from the DMV as well. When I got my other EV I had to do that myself, so it was nice to get that taken care of. That is great service. Also Esau Salvador, the finance manager got us through our paper work quickly. I was extremely disappointed with how my experience went. I had left a deposit on a corvette that was set to the come the following week so I could be the first to see it. They said I had to fill out a credit app but it wouldn't be ran until the car comes in and I agree that i want it. It came early so I went down to see it but of course wanted my dad there to receive his input. Once there they showed me the vehicle and due to the heat offered for me to sit inside while i waited for my dad. Once inside, i was given my credit report.. NOT ONCE was i told they would be running my credit already. THEY DIDNT EVEN DISCUSS NUMBERS WITH ME BEFOREHAND!!!! They just served me my credit without fully confirming if i wanted to move forward. I recently visited for a service appointment. The technician was very professional and honest about what my vehicle needed. There was a defect with the sunroof panel and it was bunching up. My warranty was expired as the car was almost 5 years old but only had 21K miles on it. They were able to work with GM and got them to split the cost due to the low mileage. We had gone to other dealerships and didn't feel comfortable with the sales reps that had approached us (very pushy, not listening to what we wanted). Purchased a vehicle here in 2023 first time I came for service faith helped me for a oil change and when I got my car back I had a flat tire and they didn't respond for it. Fast forward to today I bring in my car and when I am picking up a cashier female was helping me and asked for ID but when I was told to pick up my car I was never asked to bring ID so she told me she couldn't help me with that I ended up getting my paper and was told to wait for them to bring it out and I waited 30'min and they still didn't bring it out and when I go back to her she asked me for the paper again and barely called it out. Do not go here for brakes or any service, I would not even buy a car from this dealership. On 10/14/24 I had the brake pads replaced on the front and rear of my car. My brakes have been making noise ever since then. I figured maybe it's the break in period, but the noise became more constant. It has been about 1000 miles since that service. Yesterday I took my car over to CH-topping in long beach to inspect the work that was completed by George Chevrolet. They wrote on their work order that parts were not cleaned, and there was no lubrication on any hardware or slides. They completed the repairs correctly over at CH-topping. Today I met with Jim Ryan a service manager over at George Chevrolet. I asked him for a full refund, and I showed him the document from the professionals at CH-topping. He shined me off, and spoke "It's their word against mine". I told him that I was giving him a chance to make this right and keep me as a paying customer. He refused to give me a refund, and today, George Chevrolet lost another customer. Save yourself a headache, time, and hard-earned money. Do not do any business at this dealership. Contact the BAR before you do and inquire about the many complaints. They have no pride in the work they do. My husband and I were lucky enough to be able to order a Corvette through George Chevrolet in March, '21. We worked with James Guittierez, who kept us informed every step of the way. Once a week he would send me updates on the progress of the Corvette and approximate delivery time. Whenever I called James or his manager Richard Pacheco, JJ Garcia or Chris Knolls, they were all very helpful. If they had to get information for me, they would state they would call me back in 15 or 20 minutes and ALWAYS called me back. I had a less than good experience with this dealership. First, I had done the research and found the car I wanted to check out at their place. I had called before coming so they could get it ready. It's in a somewhat shady neighborhood and the lot seems packed. When I got there (kids in tow) they brought me to the wrong car (I wanted a 9-seater and had given them the inventory number in the previous call). The guy who brought it out and was in the car when I drove it was not educated on how things worked with it well. On the drive, as soon as I pulled out the gas light went off (no gas). I had to take a super short drive. Once back, the salesman pretended he didn't know what I meant when I said I wanted to see the invoice and brought me a description from their online catalog with the MSRP. I left and was given info on a contractor who would find and help me purchase the car for a great price. In the text messages we had been given an out-the-door price (same price given 3-4 times). They were going to drop the car off on a Wed. and then the guy in charge (Kevin) had a family emergency. He called back on Friday and scheduled the drop off for Saturday. Saturday came and no car. 15 minutes after he was supposed to be here I texted him - the guy who was supposed to drive it (apparently a different guy) called in sick and he was just hearing about it. The guy would've had to leave the dealer by 9:30 to get to my house at the 10:00 time they had promised and no one told Kevin until 10:15?? Very poor communication within the company. We agreed for a Sunday drop-off and when the guy (again, not Kevin) got here the paperwork had a price that was over $400 above the OTD price they had given us. What on earth?! They weren't even going to tell me, just asked me to sign the agreement. Apparently, despite the fact that they had pictures of our licenses, they had the wrong ZIP code and therefore the wrong tax bracket for us. The next day they called and told me I needed to sign a new contract - not for the appropriate price (which I wrote on the other one), but because they forgot to mention the contractor who had helped us. He sent the contract as a link to sign electronically and the link didn't work. Furious and over-emotional about the whole ordeal, I told the contractor that George could come pick up the car as this was all crazy and I didn't want to buy it from them. He talked me down and made sure George Chevy would eat the extra $400+ that they screwed up and then proceeded to tell me that they would need to come pick up the car and do a software update on it. I kept the car, but they put 100 miles on it within a few days. Not sure why the software update couldn't be done remotely, but whatever. Lots of snags and inconveniences for something that costs SOOOO much! Plus the jack that I saw in the other Tahoes (under the skinny storage in the back) was not there - not sure if this was an error or a false expectation on my part. read more
