100% recommend and will be returning for all service. Backstory: I purchased a used 2018 Chevrolet Volt from Rydell Chevrolet on 8/4. Exactly 3 weeks later I get the "Shift to Park" message while my car was already in park. This prevents you from being able to shift the gear again or power down the vehicle. Quick resolve was I just hit the power button again, shifted to reverse and back to park, then I could turn the car off. But it is of course not something you just want to keep allowing to happen without remedy. So I scoured the Volt owner subreddit as this is a common issue among all 2nd Gen Volts, found out about Technical Service Bulletin 19-NA-206 outlining the issue and resolution AND that it's covered by the Voltec warranty. I had read horror stories about dealerships making people pay $250 for a diagnostic before completing the service, or even worse just straight lying to them that it was not under warranty and charging them in full for the repair. I was ready to throw down when I called George for an appointment. Gratefully, I spoke with service rep Todd who gave me 0 problems, squeezed me into their full schedule after lunch, and had me out the door in about an hour for $Free.99. I did give him the TSB to lookup, which he did while I was on a brief hold, then returned with a cheerful "Ok, you're good! See you at 1 o clock." No hassle. No cost. All service. Found my home dealership :) Update: Another great report. Apparently my AirPods fell out of my pocket while I was waiting for my service. Someone actually turned them in and parts held them for me! I was so astonished. 10% of my faith in humanity has been restored. read more

My service advisor, Faith, did the best she could with the resources she was given. My brand new 2024 traverse rs was in the dealer for over 6 weeks. We only got to enjoy it for 4 weeks before finding out it was a lemon. Trying to work with the dealer on getting a "better" rental/loaner was rough. The dealer not being able to provide a loaner for 3 weeks and having to use a KIA rental was not ideal. I understand the exact car cannot be given as a loaner but when you make payments on a brand new fully equipped vehicle and do not get to enjoy it for well over a month sucks. GM had to get involved with my vehicle, since the issue needed their assistance, and my GM rep asked if I had received a call from the service manager. I told him no and tried reaching the service manager multiple times but they would not return my call nor accept them when trying to speak on my issue. Now that my car is a lemon and will be repurchased, George has declined to host my repurchase process. To think I purchased my Silverado trail boss and did my maintenance here. Then finding out they will not help with processing a bad new vehicle. Don't worry George Chevrolet, rest assured you will not be receiving my business in the future. read more

Let me start by saying that my dad is a retired mechanic and he'd always told me to stay away from the dealership for repairs because, "They'd get you.". We've been doing all scheduled maintenance for our cars at the dealership because we had warranty. We have had such great experiences that even after the warranty was up, we'd go back. Recently we've had major issues come up. This dealership did not try to fix things that we did not need. On the contrary, there were issues a regular mechanic told us we needed fixed and gave us a huge estimate. Just to see we brought our truck to this dealership and to our surprise, the list of issues was much smaller. The issues that were fixed, the dealership and our favorite Service Advisor (Marcus Castro) worked with us and got the price down to even less than a private mechanic. They've been honest with us and have really treated us like family. I would also like to give a huge shout out to Karla one of the managers. Terrible Service!!! Went in on 8/15/2018 to get a squeaking noise fixed in my 2014 Chevy Cruze's engine compartment (the pulley system to be exact). The part that SHOULD HAVE been fixed was underneath warranty so in order to save money, they told me that my belt was worn and just needed to be replaced. I went home and later that night I was going to go to Albertsons to get a cake for my moms birthday. I get in my car and it would not start! And then flashed a warning saying to get my power steering serviced and to service my theft deterrent system. AND ON TOP OF THAT, THE SQUEAKING IS STILL THERE! Even with the new belt on it. $211 for what?! I got it back with even more problems! I finally got the car started and I get to Albertsons with my younger sister and my 9 month old baby and when we come out with my moms ice cream cake, the car won't start again! So now I have a fussy baby and a melting cake. How do I go in to fix one small problem and come out with about 4? Dont buy at George Chevrolet Bought a 2019 chevy trail boss already has transmission problems. Promised 60,000 miles bumper to bumper also engine & transmission warranty. Truck only has 26,000 miles. Been calling for 1.5 months to schedule a service but has been nothing but run arounds. Finally drove it to the dealer and found out the warranty is expired. Extremely disappointed. The whole "we'll get you a loaner incase you need to leave your truck" isn't true, everything is out of pocket here. read more

This dealer sucks! I took my truck here not by choice but because Penske Chevrolet was not serving diesel at the moment. I brought it here a numerous amount of times because it was stalling and skidding. Every time my serviceman whatever they call themselves Armando said nothing was wrong. One time even after bringing it the next day my truck had no oil!!! They tried to say it was my fault. Then took it back again for skidding Armando said the technicians found nothing. I told him something is happening its a new truck i don't understand why its skidding. He said "take it somewhere else if you want". Anyway long story short I called Penske cause after 5 times of visiting this horrible place full of incompetent people I needed answers! Took my truck to Penske since they were now servicing diesel. They found the issues. The fuel injector was bad and other issues. They fixed it in a day. No more issues. Stay away from this place. read more

Needed engine oil change for my volt and this is the closest dealership. I'm comparing this to Toyota puente hill dealership as they're the two I visit the most. To be honest this dealership is nothing compared to the Toyota dealership I know I'm comparing to two completely different dealers but I guess Toyota set the bar way high. George's waiting room is tiny, though there's coffee, hot chocolate and water available for free. A small TV and 11 seats! Total of 11 seats in the waiting area!!! Price wise it was $48 out the door for Chevy volt. Not sure if it's reasonable price since it's my first time getting it done. Will look into other options next time around. read more
