Came with my boyfriend and it was our first time at George's Cafe. The entire meal and coffee were delicious! Our server was very friendly and attentive with us. She allowed us to stay a little longer because of the World Cup Game. (Big Thank You!!) An experience I won't forget, my compliments to the chef as well!!! The ambiance and culture were also a pleasant touch. Will be back soon!! Thank you!!!

My daughter and I found this place looking for breakfast. Definitely different didn't expect a themed cafe but it was cool. Especially if you're into this sort of genre. Lots of movie vibes great murals though out the restaurant We were greeted right away by a gentleman and sat inside wasn't to busy Gave us the menu we ordered our drinks Looked over everything and decided what we would have I got the vegetables omelette added avocado portion was a good size and my daughter got the chilaquiles burrito it was on the smaller side, Food was good service was good was a bit expensive but I would recommend this place for breakfast.

Wrong advertisement. I've order chicken and waffle and got sausage and waffle. Seriously?? This is not right. I didn't even like the taste because I was expecting chicken.

George's Cafe is a local hotspot eatery that offer foodies traditional meals (breakfast/brunch) in a cozy and welcoming dining experience. It's located on a tiny plaza at 522 E Vine Ave in West Covina. Customers have an option of seating in their rear outdoor patio with street view as well as indoor. Throughout the cafe's interior decor you'll see some iconic cultural figures and the beautiful Virgen de Guadalupe. Their menu has a wide variety of breakfast (American & Mexican) items. I came early morning and ordered a Cafe de Olla and a Veggie Omelette. Both were just okay-typical coffee and breakfast. Service was mildly slow because they only have 1 male server working in that morning. And customer started to pour in at 08:45 am. I can see he's struggling taking orders. I almost wanted to assist the male server and start taking customers' orders and inquiries. lol. Atmosphere was good. Prices were fair that reflects the quality and quantity of the food or drinks offered. Staff were competent and affable. Overall, this cafe is modest that offers a Mexican home cooked meal. I think there are area in their business that can be improved.

Amazing atmosphere, super interesting theme all from a local artist. Got here early on a Wednesday and talked with George about the art and his long experience in the food industry. He was kind and showed us around. The food showed up after we were done touring the art inside and outside of the restaurant. It was amazing. I lived in San Diego for a while and moved to Texas. I've missed the breakfast burritos so much, our tacos are no competition unfortunately. His breakfast burrito was amazing. My wife had the Greek omelette and it was delicious. I highly recommend checking them out and supporting their business if you have the opportunity.

George's Cafe in West Covina deserves every bit of five stars! The inside has such a throwback to 80-90s homie style, welcoming vibe, but it's also really beautiful and cozy at the same time. I ordered the waffle country fried steak and it was incredibly soft, tender, and comforting--perfectly cooked and easy to eat. The potatoes were exactly how breakfast potatoes should be: crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The French toast was also amazing--golden, flavorful, and perfectly indulgent. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to! The service was great super friendly.

Found Georges cafe while on my morning dog walk. I was greeted by the server and she took me out to the patio to find a table. Many good selections on the menu for breakfast and i opted for the weekday special of sausage breakfast tacos. It comes with 3 scrambled egg and sausage tacos and a side of green chili salsa for 10.95 . It was just the right size and tasted great! I also ordered a coffee, but unfortunately it was luke warm, even when she topped it off. Service was fantastic! I got my tacos within 5 minutes of order. The walls are airbrushed with colorful Latino culture artwork. I'll come back to try more of the menu.

My family and I had breakfast here for our first time with my mentor it was a lovely and whole experience-- the waitress was so honest and kind with the recommendations. The food was dank; I ordered the menudo and Benedict. I appreciate the environment and the hospitality! It's worth the try and wait! Thank you, we will be back here

This place is so cool. Wall art that features the stars of Mexican Cinema. Basically it's a charming little diner with Mexican flair and cool ambiance.

El Mero, Mero Burrito is the best I've ever had ever ever!!! Super delicious. The Breakfast Croissant was so fresh!, The purple onion gave it so much flavor. It was so good! And filling! The service was pleasant the restaurant vibe its like you time travel back to the 70's chicano! I will most definitely be telling everyone I know about this place! God bless them!

Ate here with a friend visiting from out of town and we were pleasantly surprised. All the movie memorabilia was a nice added factor to the incredibly sweet service. The breakfast wasn't anything too crazy but I definitely enjoyed the waffles!

We ordered the Chicken Alfredo, Chipotle Chicken Pasta, pizza, and salad, and every single dish was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous without being overwhelming, and the Chicken Alfredo was the standout. The sauce was incredibly rich, creamy, and full of flavor--honestly, I enjoyed it even more than Olive Garden's Alfredo! The atmosphere was another pleasant surprise. While the outside of the restaurant may not immediately catch your attention, don't let that fool you. The inside is beautifully decorated, cozy, and full of charm. It's a smaller restaurant, which made it feel welcoming and comfortable. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. We also loved watching the soccer game on the big screen while enjoying our meal. My only suggestion would be to give a little more attention to the restrooms. They could be cleaned more frequently, and making sure hand soap is always stocked would really enhance the overall experience. Overall, the amazing food, welcoming service, cozy atmosphere, and great portions make this restaurant an easy recommendation. We'll definitely be making the trip back to La Puente again!

The girls decided to have desert which we all shared. Tiramisu and cannolis. I don't care for tiramisu so I just had a little taste. I did enjoy a cannoli. Dear yelp friends:…read more Please read my previous reviews and you'll get the skinny on Aldolinos. The food, ambiance, and service have been consistent over the last dozen years or so I've been frequenting. Although they don't have a Sunday brunch anymore, the full bar is amazing and gives the restaurant a refined, sophisticated, quality. While some Italian restaurants are as cheesy as garlic bread, Aldolinos is classy, not trashy. In the corner of the Oak Tree shopping center, you might not think to stop by, but that would be a mistake. Daily specials; happy hour appetizers & libations; consistent food and service make this an easy choice for me in the Azusa area. I like the dividers that give you a bit of privacy and cut down on conversational noise from other tables. The first thing we notice and LOVED was the old school mellow Italian standards they were playing. Yes! Very relaxing and set the mood. We would have sat in the bar, but there was a large group scheduled in there, so we sat in the dining room. Next time we'll try the bar room. The things that stood out were their delicious, rich sauces. The flavors were spot on. They cook their pasta perfect to my family's taste, with a bite (al dente), but done enough that it's not chewy or floury. Fair prices. And yummy desserts. We really enjoyed the tasty Crab Cake app. We all liked our pasta, particularly me, who had the Mushroom Ravioli with the same sauce that comes on the Beef and Mushroom Ravioli. I think there was a Mushroom Ravioli special with a different sauce, but they did it with the sauce I really wanted to try, which was much appreciated! We enjoyed the Spumoni pie--Spumoni ice cream with a graham cracker(?) pie crust. They also made us a traditional Affogato, because that's what my dad likes. But I want to try their version next time. I'm really excited to go back and try their pizza. We'll get one with sausage, since the sausage on my dad's pasta was really outstanding. I also want to try their Caesar Salad. Looking forward to my next visit!
