We decided to try this care due to the good reviews on Yelp. It is located in a small plaza like a like hole in the wall. When we first walked in it was empty and I was a bit skeptical but the owner was very nice and friendly. The food was delicious. A bit overpriced for the amount of food you get in my opinion but it was delicious. The decor was my favorite! They have portraits and paintings from the movie blood in blood out! It's awesome! We were driving back to Phoenix from West Covina so next time you're in West Covina be sure to check this place out. read more

I stopped by to pick up a sausage breakfast burrito on the weekend. I ordered it on the phone. The burrito was ready in ten minutes. The parking is limited directly in front of the restaurant. You can find additional parking in the back of the restaurant or on the side streets. I parked on the side street because the front and back parking was already full at the time I stopped by. Cash is preferred as there is a small surcharge when you use a card. The burrito was good and filling. It had cheese, sausage, egg, and breakfast potatoes. I asked for it to be cut in half so I could share it. Half the burrito kept me full for about 5 hours. The customer service was quick and efficient. It only took 2 minutes to pay and pick up the burrito. I will definitely be stopping by to try other items. read more

Found this place on Yelp! Tucked away in La Puente off a side street vine. This sat 3-16 they will have Enrique Castillo · Montana from Blood in Blood Out movie to meet and greet apparently he stops by to eat here he lives in the neighborhood. So they decided to have a little tribute to the movie after the weekend he will be going back to his normal decor but I think it's pretty cool this way.. The owner works here he open the restaurant right before COVID then they had to close but they made it.. must of been the good cooking going on here.. we had French toast, strawberry waffle and breakfast burrito there was 3 of us so we tried a few items they were all good but the waffle was not a big deal something you make at home but it was good. To me it's a little expensive paying over $10 for a waffle and frozen strawberries but what can I say inflation it is what it is. We spent a few hours sitting and talking and getting to know the owner and his story the whole time there were people coming in and out he said the mornings and afternoon is his busiest time. You can by phone or Mobil order. They American like country fried steak to Mexican chorizo and eggs which he says are some of the top sellers. They had a set up for buffet I'm thinking on the weekend. Also they sell real coke in the bottle. Come and support your small business read more

Nice little restaurant. Cozy, has about 8 tables inside and a small patio if you want to eat outside. Priced a little high but food was fresh and delicious. Had an omelette and it was big! Side of potatoes were perfectly crunchy! Great job! read more

I have ordered here twice ( uber eats ) and I been there once. And let me tell you, will not order from Here again. The two times I ordered , I got the pancake combo. On the menu it says powdered sugar , both times the pancakes came with no powdered sugar. Then I asked for extra syrup and only got one! Both times! Although this may be small but it's sooo frustrating when you expect and ask for something small and they still don't come through! And when I called to complain , no answer. So will not be ordering from here read more

The salt and pepper shakers were both sticky-- hadn't been cleaned for a long time. I ordered a Coke and it was in a can and it was hot. She said we didn't put it in until this morning. I asked her why wasn't it put in at night since you know you're opening in the morning and she just shrugged her head. I ordered Chilaquiles and they were burnt so overall I will never come back again. Thank you for allowing me to speak my mind. It is also very expensive! read more

Sad to say, this place was so underwhelming for me. I was looking for a café with good food to enjoy on a Saturday morning. I think the dishes that I had ordered was missing an egg or two, their eggs are just really small and for the price, the food is pretty salty and did not hit the spot at all. Service was lacking, from the moment you walk in to order to receiving your food. It was just not a pleasant and pleasurable experience. I think having some experienced food, runners and cashier with an efficient, credit card machine they help. The owner definitely felt a bit frazzled and short, totally lacking the interpersonal skills to be a neighborhood Café. The restaurant was clean and cute with art pieces. Not a local. From the Inland empire. My brother comes here often and has said great things about it! I was excited to try! Well where have I been? My favorite places are always hidden, local family owned. This place really Did it for me. Parking is limited but you can park on the side of the street or in the back. Arriving you might think, I'm not going to waste my time but believe me you won't. It's self order, however very smooth fast and pleasant service. The ambiance is great. Love the decorations laid out in the wall. Pretty cool temperature inside the restaurant. Here is the best part, you can enjoy a great dine in outside. Love the pink and green everywhere. The best part of this review is the food! I'm very impressed and I will def drive from the inland to SGV here in West Covina. Saw this restaurant when I was driving home and I yelped it. Thought it was going to be good since they have 4.5 stars but it was just ok. My mother ordered veggie omelette and I ordered pastrami burger. Flavor was ok but wouldn't consider coming back. Owner was great, service was great as well and parking was plenty. Inside it was only 2 other parties so it wasn't loud. We paid $36 for both dishes and 2 cokes, not bad!! Apple juice was 4.36 omg !!! I know prices are going up but the juice was pricey!! read more

Came in for breakfast. Both dine in and patio seats were available. Cashier was friendly, and service was fast. Ordered a French toast combo ($10) and breakfast bowl ($12.5). Potion was very small, and not worth the money we paid for. Food was decent, but nothing special. I was a bit disappointed. I actually was looking for something else to eat after I finished my breakfast. Parkings is available in both in front and behind the restaurant. Street parking is also available. read more

Cool little spot to stop by and grab a bite. Very helpful staff and a nice outdoor patio to relax with enough space for a large party. Does get pretty packed on weekends so make sure you come in early or with enough time to wait as it is a smaller restaurant. Had a party of 9 and found a table right away since it was early. We all had a few different plates, but my favorite was the French toast and the crispy waffle chicken sandwich. Plates came very quickly even with 10 orders, and all were pretty tasty. My only complaint would be that it is pretty pricey, and the servings of French toast were very little. One slice of French toast, two egg and two sides for 14.00 plus drink. Total for all 9 was about $231.00 with tip. read more

Opened just before Covid hit but were able to survive with "take out" orders, and now the business is starting to pick up. Met the owners, and like many businesses, they're looking for help. Owners state that their busiest time right now is breakfast. Not open for dinner currently. SERVICE: We stopped in for brunch. Ordered at the counter and they brought it out to our table when ready. There were some hiccups, but it might have been due to new staff. The owners stepped up immediately when they noticed any issues. FOOD: My wife ordered the French Toast Combo ($8.00) served with two eggs and bacon. My wife thought it was good, but felt it needed some potatoes or hash browns. I ordered the Bacon & Egg Burger ($9.50) which came with French fries. The burger was delicious; egg cooked perfectly and ran all over the burger on my first bite. The fries were large and crispy. We also had a small fountain soda ($1.75/ea) with free refills. We're happy to have this small, family-owned business in the neighborhood. I think we'll be regulars for years to come. read more

Found this cute little café on yelp was looking for a delicious breakfast. I ordered the French toast combo with the sausage on the side. I don't eat pork but will give it to my dog. I also ordered meat patty no salt for my dog. I had told them I was going to wait by my car due to my dog in my car but would pop in again and they simple said no worries we will take it out to you. It was so nice. They also did separate the sausage which not every place listens when I ask this. So nice. My dog also loved both the sausage and patty which believe it or not she has become very picky with age. French toast was delicious and the scrambled eggs were good. Eggs can be hard to cook too. They weren't overcooked but perfect! Fluffy! I want to try their burrito next time. Definitely recommend! read more
