PROS: monthly memberships with auto pay, early hours, paired with a gas station, nice people CONS: wheels never get clean, long wait times, no room (in busy gas station) to stand in long lines, dry/detail area gets backed up regularly which stalls the car wash line, nobody pops my mirror back or removes the masking tape on my back wiper, did I mention that your wheels barely get cleaned in the car wash!!!?? I also wish they didn't shut down at 6pm... too early!! TIP: I save $10/month with the standard wash package by simply drying my own car in the Burger King parking lot next door. read more

1) Prices have increased - The Ultimate wash is now $24 ($2 increase). 2) They no longer do the scrub buckets (hand scrub the front and back bumpers) before entering the wash. 3) One of the brushes inside the wash is broken... my car was still considerably dirty, mainly bird poop... when i pointed it out to the manager he said "yeah its broken right now but I'm pretty sure it did a good enough job". I asked if i could come back when it's fixed and he laughed at me and said "nah, it's good enough". After talking further with the manager, it appears that the company has increased prices and cut people and a lot of complaints are coming in because of it. I used to come here about once a month but with the new prices, worse service, and that insulting customer service. Its time to find a new place. Also they might want to take down the "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" sign if they are not going to honor it. read more

Got an email form their Customer Service manager who asked for my Tel # to get the location manager to call me. Got the call today which totally blows my mind as to how this guy is managing a service oriented business....below is the summary of our phone conversation. 1. He kept telling me he was not there that time and really doesn't know what happened. 2. If the customer really insisted, then the customer can call the Manager to adjust the price. Does a customer really have to insist to get the price of a valid coupon? This reason should be on the Top Ten why he should not work for a service oriented business. I am appalled to hear that excuse. 3. But the number one answer which just takes the home run, "A lot of the customers are happy by just getting $4 off" and that it happens to all locations". Does that mean I should just be content that I got to pay $18 in spite of having a valid coupon for $17? UNBELIEVABLE ANSWER and to think he knew already that it was an on-going customer concern. My relationship with this place is over. I've been a member to their loyalty program for several years. This just means I overpay for oil changes. I don't like to leave bad reviews in general, but this place blows. I had washed my car here about a month. No big deal. Expectations were not high. Got the ultimate wash which cost $22. The job was mediocre at best. Whatever, it was a cheap wash. So I go there today to get a wash but I wanted a good wash. I wanted them to spend a little more time on my car and the interior. I chose to do the ultimate package #3 which is there top of line wash. It ranks three my places the ultimate wash I got the first time. It cost $40. These dudes cleaned my car the exact same way as my first visit in the same amount of time. You pay an extra $40 for the center console cleaning and dash cleaning... My center console is still dirty and the dash is dripping with Armoural. I don't even think the dudes knew I paid extra. I don't expect much from a production carwash company but this service is junk. Won't be returning. Will tell everybody I know not to return either. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! This place scratched the wheel of my new car and the refuse to accept responsibility for it. I contacted them immediately. I met with a manager, who was unprepared and lackluster. He forgot the paperwork and camera, so I took pictures. Their office responded mentioning that they would not cover it before they ever received the pictures. Came here this morning when they opened with a $99 coupon for wash and interior shampoo of carpets and upholstery. The guy looked at it like I had given him poison. I told him I got it off your site. He said he didn't have people to do this and I would need to make an appointment. Really, I didn't see that online. I left. Called I love my car wash off middlebrook. This location is always trying something new with its service. Last time I was here, it was to do the wheel detail after the regular detailing was complete. This time, they stopped taking yelp, played really bad classic rock WAY too loud, and decided to detail the cars one lane at a time. What the last one meant was that there was actually a really long wait to get into the wash then get into the line. I wasn't in a hurry to get to my gardening, but I waited 40 minutes before my car was vacuumed. That's after I paid. I'm not sure what their corporate office is doing, but if they are trying to lose future business, they are doing a great job! This review is in no way a reflection on the hard work they are doing on my car; I am merely pointing out that it shouldn't be almost an hour before my car is cleaned. Quick and easy service. Left car impeccable with the most expensive package. Not near detail level, but defiantly worth the cost. It was also very quick. Took about 15 minutes in total. However, if you care about your paint, don't come here. They have a mechanical car wash which will damage the paint. I rather do a manual wash and then bring it here for the inside cleaning only, but they don't offer that. You must get the outside wash as well. It'd be great if they offered only inside cleaning. read more

They told me the 30th was my last day for my car wash and Apperantly at midnight on the 29th was my last wash which makes no sense since they said 30th . Also they don't clean rims . Maybe if I come more often then i might see a change in service but I was very happy with mine ! i had a coupon from an oil change and used it and omg my car looks clean and detailed from just a regular car wash. every time i need a wash i will just come here ! I got the super and my car was super clean than it ever has been, wow. The associates were out going kind nice and genuinely humbled and smiled . Even the guys who vaccummed asked if i was happy with my car after the wash. Sorry if this reviews isn't a detailed step by step on what happens, all i did was pull up to the cashier pay , stepped out when it was time to vaccummed and pulled out when all was done. They're good but don't go when they're busy. They tend to rush and will not clean your car that well.

Generally I would give them a 5, i go as often as I can and the fact that they offer a discount for military members is a plus;however, I went yesterday and I was not really satisfied with the job they did. missed several areas and did not provide me the air freshener. I took my car here after a few recommendations from coworkers. I came to get my car waxed ($55, takes about an hour), so I left my car there. I returned to find my car absolutely gleaming! They buffed out the scratches, my rims were super clean and the tires were shining. They cleaned the interior of my car too. I highly recommend this place. After sitting in line for over a hour they refunded my money., I will come back and try again another time when they are less busy.. Ok, so I visited this car wash a few times in the past, and I really didn't like the results... there were always streaking, water marks, dirt spots, etc. Today, I decided (against my better judgement) to give them another shot and take my car there to get it cleaned for the new year...FAIL. The attendant who told me the prices they had and specials, was very nice, she even gave me $4 off the service. However, the job done on my car was haphazard and mediocre at best. I stood there the entire time while they cleaned the car. First of all, when the car came out of the wash, it was still dripping with water and suds... I guess the dryer wasn't working well. I opened up the trunk to make sure the jambs would be cleaned... Surprisingly, the guy who was cleaning the jambs did only the bottom one. Then he opened the trunk all the way...the suds from the trunk began dripping onto the rear windshield, and I thought surely he would see that and clean it... but he finished and walked away. Another person came around, saw the top of the trunk jamb with the suds and cleaned it...but didn't clean the windshield where the water and soap had dripped. When they were "done", I had to go and get one of their rags and clean the water and soap off. As I got into the car, I noticed that the running boards on the driver side had mud and sand on it...whoever had been cleaning the dash had dirt under their shoes (this is done outside to no surprises), and "forgot" to clean it when they were done. In addition to that, the wheel weren't cleaned well and still had dirt between them, my rear view mirrors are smudged, the door jambs are half-cleaned. I won't be going back there, and will return to Love My Car where I've CONSISTENTLY received awesome service and QUALITY car care. I've read the reviews on here and noted some people rated the service as "Ok for the price"..I don't buy that. I'm a business man, and when my clients give me their hard-earned money for a service, I want them to leave knowing that they spent they money and were completely pleased.. no matter how much they spent. Times are hard, the economy is tough, consumers shouldn't have to "settle" for mediocre service just because they didn't pay as much as someone who paid $50 or more. Even if it's a FREE service, it should be excellent; that's just good business practice, it's going to make your clients want to return, and bring others as well. .After this experience, I cannot refer anyone to go get their car cleaned here; I will be misleading them. the Germantown Auto Spa used to be totally worth paying a little more than the average car wash ($30ish vs $15ish). However, they have upped their prices and severely dropped the quality. They no longer Pre-clean your tires, fold in Windows, etc. and today I witnessed the worst service ever. They told me my car was done after paying $36 they had not fully dried my vehicle, cleaned my dashboard or console, cleaned my windows, they also did not vacuum the rear of my car. When I spoke to the manager, I was told to go back to the end of the line and wait again- roughly 20 minutes. I also did not need the scowl and attitude from him as though the situation was reversed and he was the one who paid me $36 to clean his car and I tried to rip him off. I realized today that I may as well just pay $15 at a normal car wash and bring my own towel save me $20 and the aggravation. read more

After driving by this place for about a year I decided to go ahead and take my car there. I was very impressed, the experience was very pleasant and detailed. They staff was very polite and dedicated to their work. They have benches along the side where you can sit and watch them do the work. They are very efficient and thorough. First, at the entrance, I was told that I MUST fill out this 1-page form with all my personal information because I was using a Groupon so they could 'keep track of Groupon users'. I said I already bought the Groupon which does not specify any such condition, that they could not require me to give out my personal information. Then he said I ONLY had to fill out my name and email. I reiterated that they could not require that. He then rudely said he already had my name and email on my Groupon anyway, complained that he wanted to go home and how I was the only person who wouldn't fill out the form. Most of the staff were VERY rude also. At the exit of the drive-thru car wash, I was waiting for the light to turn green before driving out but I was practically yelled at by a staff to drive to the hand wash area. The staff surrounded my car - I could barely get out of it. They 'finished' in less than 5 minutes - no towel drying (should be included), the interior cleaning was very sloppy - the car interior was still dirty! Not happy with service at all. I bought a platinum service and they were supposed to vacuum and clean interiors. They didn't vacuum under seats, all stains were still there and they didn't even apologize for wht they did. When I complained the manager just vacuumed the spots that I told him to. Why do I do this to myself?! Every time I get my car washed here I leave ticked off and disappointed - vowing never to return! You pay for the Platinum and receive a lick and a promise! Seriously, I get a better result when I go to the spray booths down the street. From the time I paid to the time I left was just about 37 minutes. Four people spent just about 20 minutes on one truck two vehicles in front of me. Now don't get me wrong, I'm just as picky as the next guy - and the truck owner was uber picky, but come on! Move the truck out of the lane, assign one person to attend to Mr. Picky and assist the other 10 vehicles waiting to be wiped down, vacuumed, tire blacked, window washed, etc. I got in my car to leave and for some reason they readjusted my steering wheel, pulled both front seats up without returning them to where they were and left two rags in the back seat! When I got home I had to damp wipe the entire car to remove the spots, wipe down all four wheels because the guy that applied the tire black neglected to clean the brake dust from the wheels. Bottom line? Allow your supervisors to supervise, quality control and keep them off the line. There are plenty of employees that can do the job without the supervisors picking up a towel. read more
