Yum - homemade peanut butter pie
    Cat M.

Dined here on a busy Sunday night. Parking lot was very difficult to find a spot for a pick up truck. Found 2 seats at the bar & ordered drinks to start. Bartender was friendly & informative. Seemed they were out of a lot of things on a Sunday night so that made it a little difficult to figure out what to order. I would up with a small side salad that was decent & the wings. My husband had a sandwich & we then shared the homemade peanut butter pie without whip cream. The dessert was excellent. Not a bad choice when in town!

It's been many years since I've been here and I saw they had new owners from 2022. I was pleasantly surprised by the meal! I went with the tacos and shared the wings. We sat at a high top in the bar area and our waitress was very nice and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My only complaint - this is supposed to be a baseball bar and not a single tv had any baseball!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Quesadilla
    Katie R.

Thank you to our amazing and helpful server, Cassie. She suggested the quesadillas and they were just as incredible as she promised. The crab cake sandwich was really good and was not a regret. The side of potatoes were incredible. The chicken tenders were a good portion and also great. All of the cocktails were very flavorful. There is a nice sports bar area in the back. This was a delicious last minute find. Would love to come back.

The bar itself.. cool, authentic Irish pub

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar is a cross between a sports bar and a a hometown Irish bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The bartender was polite and engaging. The food was amazing! Everything we watched come out of the kitchen looked great! Quantities and the size of the sandwiches were above average! Highly recommend!

Wife, daughter and myself first had three games in the alley, which went by at good time for three games. But the real treat was when some of the customers exited this little eatery as we bowled, we couldn't help but smell the food being served just behind us on the furthest end of the alleys. When we came inside, Michelle had greeted us pleasantly, and asked if I needed a chair moved as I was in a wheelchair, but the tables were perfect height and had no trouble at all getting a place to eat. ^^ A few other people were dotted around different seats as multiple TVs played various sports, as we started looking on the menus of what was making our mouths water. My daughter ordered the Nashville Hot Shrimp, Wife had the chilli, and decided to get a small speciality pizza, Ham with fig sauce ... ?... I decided to get a bowl of the creame of crab soup and sweet tea. Food took a small while to make, but when it came out, it was AMAZING. The soup was in a wide styled bowl with crackers, and no lie. It was perfect. Then my wife had started on her chilli, and she said it was exactly how her mom used to make it from North Carolina, it was THAT Good. Daughter had started on her hot shrimp and was happily bouncing in her seat as she loved the heat and the taste. Then when me and wife got done with the bowls of OMG Goodness, then she offered me a piece of her pizza, and I tell you, I NEVER Had such an outstanding combination on a pizza before as I had here. It was a white flat bread pizza, and the ham was perfect with crisp edges, but the best part was the sweet fig sauce. It was perfectly balanced with the salty meat and the sweet drizzled sauce on top. Michelle came by and asked how we were doing, and she just smiled as we told her how good the food was. She had let us know the menu was changing, and thanked us for letting her know what we liked, hopefully they will keep our choices on those menus, as they will be choices we will definitely order again, the next time we head there for bowling. So please, when you get food there at Alley Oops, tell Michelle how good your choices they are, and see when they change the menu, they keep the choices on. I couldn't recommend this food eatery place highly enough, as seeing how excellent the food is, and Michelle's pleasant personality made the day for us. We WILL be back again... ^^ Cheers and God Bless... Deaf Gryphon ^^

The initial service experience was satisfactory. **Issue Regarding Beverage** During the course of the meal, a mixed beverage was ordered for my wife. Upon service, the drink was found to be prepared in a manner that rendered it excessively sweet and not palatable. The issue was brought to the attention of the waitstaff, with a request that the item be removed from the final invoice due to the product not meeting reasonable standards for consumption. **Resolution and Conclusion** Management declined the request to remove the item from the bill, notwithstanding our objection regarding the quality of the preparation. Consequently, the full cost of the beverage remained on the final check. While the initial greeting and seating process were efficient, the refusal to address the concern regarding the beverage resulted in a disappointing conclusion to the visit. Though this establishment has other reviews also reflecting their policy not to remove such unsatisfactory items from the check, be aware of this lowered customer service standard before dining there. We will not be returning.

At least at ABC, we could wait in their outdoor beer garden area. While it started as a fall back plan, it turned out to be great! The menu is varied and has something for everyone. I got their hot honey calzone, which was delicious. My wife was very happy with her burger. And they had mac and cheese for my three year old Mac and cheese connoisseur. It was good Mac and cheese. I had a cider outside in the beer garden and a stout inside. Both were good. They had some more adventurous options, too, though those weren't what I ordered. We were having such a good time that my wife and I decided to share a root beer float made with their own craft root beer for dessert. Yum! The food, drinks, and service are all great. Stopped in here a couple weeks ago when we were in Gettysburg for the weekend…read more This was the second time we ate here and I have to give this a mixed review. The first time we came here, last fall, we ordered pizzas for the table (there were four of us) and we all loved the food. Pizzas were bar pies and were pretty good (coming from a pizza snob). The drinks were a little pricey, but the service was great and we love the atmosphere. This most recent trip was not as good. We both wanted to try the bbq this time and were seated on the 'other' side. We were very confused as there was no BBQ on the menu, only to realize when the waitress came over that we didn't get the BBQ menus. We placed an order for drinks and looked over the menu, eventually we both chose a one meat combo - wifey ordered the brisket, Mac and cheese and cornbread and I had the ribs with baked beans and cole slaw. We also ordered an appetizer of hushpuppies. The sides were all fantastic...the Mac n cheese needed a touch of salt, but otherwise they were great. The hushpuppies were missing something-not sure if they put the sweet and spicy chipotle drizzle on them. Neither of us loved the meats. The brisket was tasty, but very fatty (yes, I know brisket has a fat layer, but this was very fatty). My ribs were a bit tough...again, they tasted fine, but they needed a little more time on the smoker (I'm not a fall off the bone guy, but the bite on these were a bit too much). Additionally, it too WAY too long for us to get our drinks...arrived about three minutes before our food was served. I'm sure this was a one-off, bad day, because I've heard great things about the bbq here. We're gonna stop in again next time, hopefully to bump up the rating.
