I wasn't sure what to expect, being the old location of Noodle House i thought there would be tables/seating, but no-- there's none. Interior is clean, menus are up on the wall. Majority of the customers are takeout and delivery just from the hour that I was there waiting for my food. I haven't had much kimbap before but the Tuna K-Roll was very tasty, added a side of spicy mayo and yum! I wasn't expecting dry tuna though. The rolls were nicely cut and put together. We also ordered the creamy wasabi hangry chicken top bop. I think i'll stick with the original Top Bop options and locations though as the chicken ratio to other fillings were minimal. Tasted delicious. I won't be ordering the pesto pasta again.. $15? Or any pasta actually. Flavorful.. but basic. More pasta then the chicken and I didn't have the stomach to finish the rest of it. I was super excited when I moved to UMed and saw that one of Top Bop's new projects Ghost Kitchen right around the corner from my place. I have always been a big supporter of local Top Bops around town. Unfortunately, their hours are weird. The first time went there at 5pm to grab a boba drink. Strike one. For those unfamiliar, Top Bop specializes in perfectly portioned, affordable, Korean fast food. They get in and out, FAST, with a delicious, nutritious meal at around the 10 dollar mark. You have the option of add-ons and beverages of course, but historically they've been reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the Ghost Kitchen is a huge disappointment. Ghost Kitchen is still "fast food" but they've added other cuisines which has slowed down the process and jacked up prices SIGNIFICANTLY. Meal prices are closer to the 20 dollar mark and they have made noticeable changes to the quality of the product they provide across the board. The lack of focus in their menu has destroyed their quality and drinks. If I want to spend anything above the $13.50 mark, why would I get fast food? I can go to a Korean sit-down and for a few dollars more get something really excellent that includes complimentary panchan. Similarly, if I want Italian food at the $15 plus price mark, I can go to about 20 other places in Anchoange and the quality and portion is far superior. Today, our order was really meh and not worth $60 FOR LUNCH. We all threw half our lunches out. Strike two. I absolutely cannot recommend anything but their drinks now, which will set you back $6, which is the going rate in Anchorage these days for custom drinks. Great concept! Convenient take-out for those living off Tudor or Lake Otis. I have been a long-time customer of Top Bop and was pleased to see a location closer to home pop up. Same menu and quality as other locations around town. I have tried the pasta... it's not terrible but for $15? Let's just say, I haven't ordered it since. Recently, I tried the K-Roll. It is the perfect app to share or snack! I will definitely be trying more. There is a combo option that pairs different menu's items with another. I may have to give the friend chicken a try next paired with my go-to Top Bop. One time I had to wait a little longer than normal for my food. The attendant gave me a milk tea on the house. I am not a milk tea fan but I did try it and it wasn't too bad. SO SWEET!! If you're a fan of sweet, creamy tea then you will most likely enjoy this drink. Service is friendly and attentive. There is a small waiting area for those times you forget to call in ahead of time. No table service. read more

I have to start with appearances, and Ghost Kitchen had some things right and others wrong. Immediately I was struck by an unappetizing odor; it was somewhat stale and a definitively fishy. No idea why... The menu board was attractive and lists quite a selection of options from four different potential 'restaurants'. The options were diverse and I was excited to make a selection. The staff was a bit disinterested, and I saw a couple other employees wandering around the back, it didn't have the tight busy air most restaurants have. I went for the popcorn chicken, and it took a long time for what it was. Once I had it I hustled home without checking it out. Once home I realized, this chicken was sub-par. Stringy, tough, and only crunchy sometimes. I would never order this chicken again, and it unfortunately was a negative enough experience that I doubt I will ever return to Ghost Kitchen. read more

Got this place delivered through UberEats and was pleasantly surprised! I got their Thai Tea Boba and it is tasty! I also ordered their Poke Bowl (but the cup) & it was a decent size and very tasty! I need this place to do well and expand because I love what they are trying to do!! It reminded me of food court at a Korean grocery mart in big cities. They have many different food choices and they all looked appealing. I ordered some k-rolls (kimbop), fries and boba milk tea. I tried all the different flavors of rolls and my favorites were tuna and Bulgogie (beef). I can eat them all day every day. Boba milk tea was a good size and perfectly refreshing. Works so well with other foods. Fries were well seasoned. Little on the salty side so it works good as a side. Kinda like pub fries so that it attract some drink... perhaps beer or boba. I heard from some other people that the chicken were little too salty. I haven't tried it but I want to try it next time and see it myself. I heard that the radish pickle that comes with it as a side makes it up. There is no seating. Everything is take out basis. You can grab foods for lunch and eat in the car. There are plenty of parking spaces. I wish they gave us compostable containers but there were a lot of plastics and styrofoam. I hope they change this soon. I'm so happy that Anchorage has this tiny area that serves some quick Korean foods to grab! I can see myself coming here again and again. read more

I ordered a beef bop bowl and k-roll & poke off of Uber eats. Very disappointed in the k-roll & poke. The poke is a little slimy and the greens made it taste even more fishy and left a bad after taste. The k-roll didn't have the sauce on it even though you choose your sauce spicy level. I really didn't think I would be leaving a negative review, but here it is. When my family & I heard about this restaurant opening, we were all excited & hyped; couldn't wait to try their food, but in the end it just wasn't worth a single penny! 1. Be aware that what they have pictured on their menu is NOT what you get at all! It is totally deceiving & misleading! They have chicken wings & drumsticks pictured, but what you really get is deep fried chicken PIECES served with fries. I thought fries would be separated but they combine the entree with fries, which really doesn't make any sense. I paid $13 for something I didn't even order. The chicken wasn't even crispy; it was mushy with no texture & tasted mediocre. 2. The "wasabi" chicken they have is not, in any way, wasabi at all! What we got was plain chicken crumbs with a bit of furikake sprinkled on top. Horrible! 3. Their chicken Alfredo... I legit only got 6 small pieces of chicken & barely any sauce! Mind you, they charge $15 for this & I didn't even get the Parmesan packets I asked for! Not to mention, the amount you get isn't even worth it! It's served in one of those medium-sized takeout boxes. You're much better off getting your moneys worth at Olive Garden, TBH! 4. Garlic bread was disappointing. It's $7 for 12 in. What you get is nasty, skinny bread that is slathered in oil to the point where it's overbearing! CARRS garlic bread is so much more worth it & tastes delicious! 5. Lastly, the milk tea boba- $5 for a small! A small! I have never paid that much for a small! If you want a place where you'll get your moneys worth, YOGO delight is a much better experience! We were super excited to try Ghost kitchen only to be let down. Order the kwings and sour cream and onion wings. First off the fries that come with the wings are served in the same container as the chicken so they end up being soggy. The kwings did not look like the menu picture and was barely sauced and mostly breading scraps no reall meat which was super disappointing. The Alfredo had about 4 pieces of shrimp and 3 pieces of broccoli, the noodles weren't cooked all the way and it was overall pretty dry and bland. read more

To be honest, this is my new favorite place for pop-corn chicken in town with kick of korean style sauce (k-spicy). Price was affordable, good amount of chicken and fries. They also give free pickle radish along with chicken. I had a oreo boba and it was very delicious too. Overall experience was excellent so far out of third time visit. Just one thing, I wish I could get chicken and fries separately but still good. read more
