I have pretty low expectation, and the fact that I have only had pizza in Cali. may make this review worthless. It's been too greasy for me all 5 times I have had their pizza. I'm simple, I get pepperoni every time. Service is nice, simple little place. I just did not care for the pizza too much. Someone tell me something else they liked from here, and I'll order it. Tried for the first time - did not realize they had a new owner - we live walkable distance away and are so glad to know this will be a new favorite for us - we got three hot sandwiches - chicken Parmesan and meatball - very fresh bread. 1st off, i called in my order for 2 16" pizzas. when i arrived they only had 1 for me. They misheard me which hey it happens, i can understand that. but it still took up my time. I can let that slide Then they ring me up for the cost and it was approx $8-$10 more than i was expecting to pay. I immediately questioned the price and he said no that is our price. Then i showed him the prices they have on there website, and he said oh we dont have that price anymore. So I said well you have it on your website and showed him. And he said the same thing. So i said, "so you wont honor the prices listed on your website" and he just said nope. Soooo, for a first time experience at this place, im just done with it. The pizza was ok, not worth the hefty price i paid and the extra time i had to wait. Honestly they should have given me the the second pizza free or just simply honored the price that is listed on there site. Areas of our pizza smelt and mostly tasted like melted plastic. Took it back. The owner asked me where the rest of the pizza was after having given 7 children a slice. And i say some areas tasted and smelt that way. They actually smelled the pizza and told me it smelled fine. Then had two girls working there smell the pizza. He resumed telling me there was nothing wrong with the pizza. As if i. 14 year navy would waste my time trying to get a free pizza from them after already having a giant pizza. Ridiculouse. Ok, so I finally broke down and ordered a hamburger from there, it was absolutely delicious. They use american cheese, which I don't like, so I scraped it off and put what I liked and it was amazing. It's so big I couldn't finish it. I can't get enough of this place, they always deliver within a less than an hour and are very friendly, I won't go to the other pizza place which is only 2 blocks away. read more

Ordered 16" Hawaiian pizza and gluten free pizza that according to website would have been $27.99 including tax, and instead was $31.23. At long last, I've finally found GOOD gluten-free pizza! I've been on the quest for YEARS and frankly all of them to date have been minimally better than the frozen gluten free selections (sad, really). I expected the same when I saw it on the menu at Giant Pizza King but, ever hopeful, ordered a sausage/pepperoni/mushroom. The owner and his worker built two or three pizzas while mine was in the oven and seemed to be intent on perfecting each one. Mine was beautiful when it hit the box and once home, I was really thrilled with the taste, the cheese, the sauce! Giant Pizza King included two generous pkgs of parmesan and two red chile pepper pkts that took the pizza over the top. Great Pizza, Great Price (12.99 for a medium size). Now if we can get the owner Kenny to find a good gluten-free roll and meatball, my future takeout will be fixated on this shoppe! read more

Not only do I LOVE this place (its the only place I order from) but I ordered delivery online and selected cash! My fiancé must have taken my $20 to buy himself lunch at work and so when they got here I was a few dollars short! I just wanted pizza and looked for local delivery spots. There was papa johns, pizza hut, domino's, round table and little C. All the major chains which I have tried in the past some are OK some are less than. Giant Pizza came through , ordered online, pretty darn good pizza. Hit the spot for me :). Been here three times so far in last month. Awesome deals food quality is superb not like all these other pizza places. Awesome crust very flavorful the guys at this place are awesome friendly and courteous. I drive from alpine for their awesome pizza.....like I said if you want good quality tasty pizza this is the place it's worth the drive. I have been going here for years but recently they enlarged their menu and don't have the same people working. I have tried them since the changes and have to say I will no longer order from them. The food is bad now. It is not only tasteless but some of it is reheated from frozen. The pizza had no taste and the dough was old. The lasagna was slimy and frozen in the middle. The wings were cold and seemed like they were reheated and dried out. I am very disappointed in the change and feel sorry to have lost a good place to order pick up food from. read more
