I love this place so much, I've come back to review it again! Over the last couple years, Gigi's has been beyond consistent in the quality of delicious sandwiches they've put out. In fact, they've only gotten better with a gradually expanding menu! My favorite, is and always will be their seasonal Thanksgiving sandwich with just the perfect ratio of stuffing, turkey, cranberry, and heat! But you truly can't go wrong with any other sandwich from the Gigistrami to the Turkey Avocado Smash. It looks like they're also gearing up to release a whole new list of additional sandwiches come 2025 which I'm so excited for! The staff here is always so friendly and accommodating. Special shoutout to Theresa who always has a smile on her face and bakes/creates all of their dessert/baked pastries. I've yet to have a cookie/bar/dessert that hasn't been a hit here! While the sandwich is undisputedly the star of the show, be sure not to sleep on/skip their dessert offerings! The peninsula has more than its fair share of heavy hitter sandwich shops, but Gigi will always be my number one! read more

I've been wanting to come here for so long and I finally visited this cafe in the morning right when it opened. It was still busy but there was plenty of parking at the time I went. You order inside the building on 1 of the 2 iPad screens they have available and then pick up your order outside at the open door. The girl working that morning was so friendly and she helped me decide which sandwich to get. I ordered the Veggie Chipotle is my Life sandwich without lettuce on dutch crunch bread. I've never had tofu chicken before but I was a huge fan - texture was on point and it made the sandwich more filling. You definitely get value for your money here. I also got the iced Pumpkin Spice Latte which was fairly decent as well! I loved how there were so many vegetarian options to choose from. It's convenient, which I appreciate. It's in an office building, and parking was simple. I walked up to pick up and I was happily greeted by the worker. On a nice day, the water view is pretty. However, beware that there are birds around the water area. It would be best to eat to at the outdoor tables or grab and go. read more

Once went here for a Yelp Elite event and enjoyed it! Came back, and I have never had a fatter sandwich. I got the veggie sriracha sandwich, which came with tofu, and tofu was nicely seasoned! Very surprising because I feel like most places just fry it and call it a day (which I'm not complaining about. I love fried tofu). Sandwich was also packed to the freaking brim, and the sriracha mayo was flavorful. I do wish there was an option to maybe add some oil and vinegar because the sandwich felt a bit heavy by itself. Chicken parmesan was also good, but a standard chicken parm sandwich. Cheese was so nicely melted though! Glad I finally came back, and it was fairly busy on the Saturday I came, so I'm glad that it's getting the business it deserves. Support the small businesses! Gigi's is a hidden gem if I ever one. Unless you work in this building, you'd never find it. These are the moments gps becomes clutch. There are so many sandwiches to choose from, all with their own personality and the same to match. Avocado smash, tech bro, and chipotle is my life to name a few. Orders are taken via kiosk, a little different from a typical sandwich shop, but it's a pretty easy to use system. The avocado smash is among the favorites for good reason, it's simply delicious. This sandwich probably packs enough turkey to host a thanksgiving dinner. And the Dutch crutch roll is next level! Easy to see why Gigis makes yelps top list of places to eat in America, sitting all the way at 14. There is no better bang for your buck. The only thing I love more than a good sandwich, is one close to the airport! Eat half now, the other at half 30k feet. I literally can't wait to go back and try some more vegetarian sandwiches. In my opinion, Gigi's is the best place for vegetarians in the Bay Area. I've had Ike's, but Gigi blows them out of the water. TMI alert*, I have a sensitive tummy, Gigi's didn't agitate my stomach, which is a major pass in my book. Located off the 101 highway, you don't have to go far to find the parking lot. The shop is located in a business building. Outside there are some tables if you can't wait to eat your sandwich. *Warning* there aren't any bathrooms in the building. But! I think in the distance are some public bathrooms near the Bay Trail or just run to the hotel nearby. Next order your meal on a touch screen tablet. We were brave and added the guava lemonade for $4.50. OMG, that was amazingly full of flavor and we'll for sure order one next time. To pick up your order, you need to step outside and there is a window you pick up your food. The view of the bay is relaxing, waiting is okay with me. During the winter they might change the pick up to indoors? My husband and I shared the TOFU Vegetarian Blazin' Buffalo Chick'n Sandwich (V) for $14.99. Since I last wrote a review about Gigi's over a year ago, I've gotten sandwiches here at least a dozen if not more times. Teresa and her team at Gigi's are always so friendly and efficient. Every sandwich I've eaten from here is always delicious and massive! I do my best to eat the whole thing at once since it's so good fresh, but often end up saving half for lunch the next day. I've introduced Gigi's many others and a good number of them frequent Gigi's on a regular basis now. Online ordering is simple and I really like the ability to truly customize your sandwich by removing and adding items. I love going to Gigi's Cafe for lunch. The sandwiches are huge and so yummy. My favorite sandwiches are the Turkey Avocado Smash- roasted turkey breast toasted on a Dutch crunch roll with cheddar cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise ($13.75) and the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich- breaded chicken topped with homemade marinara sauce and melted provolone cheese toasted on a French roll ($13.99). We were surprised at the Burlingame location, tucked away in a secret spot at the lobby level of a nondescript glass building. Definitely IYKYK vibes. Really appreciate the outdoor seats, which shows that Gigi encourages us to sit and enjoy her menu items : ) Walked into the lobby and ordered at the kiosk: $13.99 2-meat combo, ham/roast beef, all veggies, pickles, pepperoncini, oil and vinegar on french roll. The sandwich probably weighed at least 2 lbs, it was a MONSTER. So we unhinged our jaws and went to work. A word of caution, this sandwich is really meant to be shared if you want to bypass a food coma. Because wow. You can see from the photo that it means business. But what makes it so pleasantly easy to eat are the acids: vinegar, pickles, pepperoncini cut the richness of the meats and bread. We also ordered a potato salad and were equally impressed--it can almost pass for Will's. I think we've found Little Lucca's competitor right here. Gigi's is a MUST TRY. The place itself is pretty small, they do have seats outside but I'm pretty sure it will be full on a sunny day. We've ordered the Sriracha hot chicken sandwiches and it was HUGE! The sandwich wasn't as spicy but it was the best! Chicken itself was very juicy and tender, mixed perfectly with Mayo. Tried Gigi's for the first time today. The sandwiches are huge, they pack them with meat and cheese. I could only eat half, my husband ate it all and was too full for dinner. It was all tasty and delicious. Good bread, good meat, good toppings and sauces. The one hiccup I had ordering online was with asking them to remove or add certain ingredients. They have limited ways to edit the sandwiches except for a comment box where I asked them to leave off tomatoes and add banana peppers. They did see it and our order was perfect just wish I had felt more confident when ordering. Sandwiches were ready when I got there. They are remodeling so I can't comment on the ambiance. read more
