    Chipotle is my life
    Joseph T.

I had a hard time locating the store through my navigation app. For anyone on their way that is driving, your car should be going to an upper garage area. If your navigation takes you down a small ramp, you are in the wrong area. Let's talk about the shop now, the inside is a bit small but it isn't lacking in heart one bit. There was one place to place your order but I think there might be two overall. You can take a peek and watch as the team makes your sandwiches. Gigi's even makes free lunches for those in the community that are having a tough time. I think that's really cool that this place is able to serve the community in this way. As for the food, I ordered the "Chipotle is my life". As a "city kid" there was always something about a classic deli sandwich from the corner store that just always hits and at Gigi's I got the same nostalgia feeling. The sandwich was great, bread wasn't soggy from the spread and it had great flavor! A nice spin on a classic turkey and cheese. The wait time was pretty quick so that's definitely a plus. I think the best part about all of this is you can take your sandwich and eat very close to the water if you wanted to. Albeit a bit out of the way, this will be my go to spot when I want a deli sandwich.

Small local shop located inside what looked to be an office building. There is only an outside dining area. The inside is basically a very small walk in with a kiosk or two for placing your order and a small front desk where they set your finished orders and text your number. Their Vietnamese coffee is delicious. I always try to savor any great Vietnamese coffee, but always end up gulping it down within seconds lol. My sandwich was a large portion. The bread tasted locally made. The chicken was moist and tender and the flavors worked well together. My salad was light with fresh ingredients. The dressing was herby and definitely made in house. The tuna was generously portioned. Would love to try more items on this menu. Maybe next visit to the Bay Area.

I was in NorCal for a business trip and was looking for a quick lunch option. We found this sandwich place, not thinking or expecting much, but wow did it blow us away. We've been in a sandwich phase lately, and this definitely hit our top 3. You walk into the store, and there are a few iPads to order on. They'll text you when your order is ready. We ordered 2 sandwiches for 3 people (which ended up being plenty). We got the tech bro and the chicken churri. We got there right before the weekday lunch rush, which was great timing for us. My husband loved the tech bro, but the friend and I thought the chicken churri was more unique. All in all, 3 very satisfied tummies. Prices of sandwiches were reasonable given the size. We'll be back next time we're in NorCal!

Gigi's Cafe is worth the hype! We visited for lunch on a Thursday and found it pretty busy. There was no wait to order on the electronic kiosk, but I would order ahead next time, just to speed up the process. The interior was tiny - basically just the kiosk and counter, no seating. However, there was plenty of (dog-friendly) outdoor seating out in front. I chose the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich on Dutch Crunch bread, and my friend got the Sriracha Hot Sandwich. The food did take a while to come out, but it was well worth the wait. Both sandwiches were top notch! The chicken cutlets had the perfect thickness and the Dutch Crunch was fantastic. I also got a refreshing Arnold Palmer to wash it down. Will happily return to try more of their menu!

One of the best sandwiches Ive ever had in my whole life. Even if it's far from home it has great drinks, fast service, and chill environment to indulge. Definitely will come back

First time here, it's a hole the wall, order from a kiosk a lot of sandwich selections we ordered the roast beast it was very good, not as big as luccas or Darby dans but it was very tasty, I recommend you should try it at least once, there's outside seating nice and Brothers and tables and chairs. People seem nice.

Still a great spot if you're traveling to the airport or just happen to be south of the city. If you come on Saturday there is no bathroom, but I love adding pesto to their burritos and they do not skimp on the cheese and avocado. Still a burrito for 2 or 3 in my opinion, but it kept me full the majority of the day.

For some context, my experience to Gigi's was on a cold, windy Saturday. Gigi's is located in an office building and I imagine this is a much different experience on a sunny day or during the work week. It's nestled in Burlingame my a lovely trail around the bay and hotels in walking distance. I was meeting my friend and happy to see there was ample parking. To my surprise as you walk in you are immediately welcomed with a tall partition and a couple of kiosks. There were no employees visible and no indoor seating... and it was chilly. Here are some general notes: * mostly a breakfast burrito and sandwich spot. *affordable and generous servings *the breakfast burrito with bacon and a hash brown. Very small and sparse pieces of bacon and additional hash brown was also lacking. Overall tasty and huge portion and I like how they grill the tortilla. *no restrooms on Saturdays, we had to sneak into the restroom in the hotel next door *Staff at cafe was kind and may have been the only one working when he handed me my burrito Additional thoughts: I'm sure this is amazing spot on a sunny and warm day to sit on the patio or stroll and eat your burrito. In our case it was chilly and we contemplated eating in our cars. If you do come on a cool day m, wear extra layers. This is really best as online pick up or if you're working in the building when there are restrooms available during the work week.

We picked up a few sandwiches and ate outside on the patio. It is located in a very nondescript area, but a lot of people came by on foot or car, so you could tell it was a hidden gem. I was very impressed with my sandwich, the bread was fresh, crisp and perfectly toasted. The turkey was really flavorful and great ratio of toppings and sauce. My dad got a chicken sandwich and also loved it.

Such a good sandwhich spot! Second time coming here, I placed an online order for pick up. The place itself has outdoor seating and ample parking. I got the Hot Gurl Chicken Sandwhich and added avocado, and the Knuckle Sandwhich. Rating 9.1/10 only because they had a little too much mayo and some bites were more on the wet side. I'm excited for them to open up in Burlingame!

Gigi's catered at an event I attended and this was my first time trying their food. The sandwich was delicious and was a genuinely unique combination of ingredients. Everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. The kitchen sink cookie and guava lemonade were stars on their own. I got to meet the Gigi's owner who was so friendly as well! I'm excited to visit their brick and mortar and make my way through their menu.

It's sad that Gigi's is starting to lack in service as of recently. This is the second time that I have ordered sandwiches with avocado and the sandwiches ended up not having it. Thankfully after the first time, I made it a habit to check the sandwiches for avocados and for a while they did a great job. They forgot avocados on all three of my sandwiches today. This is disappointing because I come here a few times a month from SF just for their sandwiches. Update: I appreciate Gigi reaching out. I do truly love this spot and am willing to chance on no avocados again to try this place again.

Came here on a weekend and split a sandwich with my friend. They have self service kiosks to order at. Good sized sandwich, they have a good amount of options to choose from. Love the outdoor seating area they have. We walked off our lunch along the water after we ate. Highly recommend!

So, coming here, first off, ALL the people who work here are wonderful. Very kind, professional, helpful and they act like they want to be here. I was helped quite a bit by Yesenia, and she was amazing, took great care of me! So kudos to management for what seems to be that, in turn, they take good care of their staff. It was a fairly long line to order and, at first, I sorta wished they had table service instead -- but it ended up moving fairly quickly and was very easy to order. They give you a number and you choose your own table, either inside or outside. On a Saturday morning, although it was busy, there were plenty of tables. My coffee came right away and it is good coffee. And I was told its Crepevine's own branded coffee, organic blend. My Thai crepe came not too long after. It usually comes with both peanut sauce and pesto. But I don't like pesto (and what does that have to do with Thai anyway?) so I asked for it to be prepared with just the peanut sauce. Unfortunately, that got lost and what I was served came with no sauces at all in the crepe. They were happy to take it back and have it re-done and it came out and a short time later with the peanut sauce inside ... and was nice and hot -- and delicious! The side salad that comes with the crepe usually has balsamic vinaigrette but I noticed that one of the menu items is a Thai Salad so, in keeping with the theme, I asked if they could put the dressing for that salad on my side salad and they said no problem, and it was very good -- a lemongrass dressing. The home potatoes were decent although I like mine well done with crispy edges, which these weren't, so I'd probably ask for that next time. And, btw, the value for the money is really good -- they give you A LOT of food! I actually couldn't finish everything on the plate. That all said, I don't think I'll come here on a regular basis, don't live nearby, but I'll definitely come back again, maybe when I have a guest in town -- it was a good meal at a good price and with excellent service and atmosphere, and the few minor problems I had were solved very quickly and efficiently, so 5 stars well deserved.

Instead of honoring my reservation or offering a comparable solution, I was simply assigned a different room. To make matters worse, the front desk associate told me they would waive my parking fee as compensation for the inconvenience. Later, I discovered that the parking lot is open to the public because it is connected to the oceanfront trail. There is no gate, no parking attendant, no security monitoring the lot, and guests are not charged to park there in the first place. In other words, they offered me something that was already free, making it feel like they were trying to appease me without providing any real compensation. The nationwide system outage was beyond the hotel's control, and I understand that. However, giving away the room I had already selected and paid for, then misleading me into believing I was receiving meaningful compensation when I wasn't, was extremely disappointing. At my seat (depicted) you get live behind the scenes of a kitchen. Me personally, I enjoy watching my food being cooked in front of me, so I enjoyed it. I originally went because of looking at the prices on an image on yelp. It was $16 for sausage, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. That's a great deal! But, once I got there inflation kicked it up to $18. Not the biggest difference to deter, but just letting everyone know the real price. I got pancakes, eggs, hash browns, and bacon (depicted). The eggs were good, pancakes were very good, hash browns were okay, and the reason for 4 star instead of a 5.... the bacon. The bacon wasn't crispy and cooked to order. It was chewy and I guess they cook it before and then heat it up on the griddle after. It is super noticeable from the taste, but especially from the texture. I would recommend this place to anyone, but just be aware with the vital advice I wrote.

The two thin pork chops were supposedly marinated, but I couldn't tell from tasting them. They were over cooked--dry, tough and needed some herbs. I was craving a good burger and a milkshake and this place hit the spot!…read more Lots of spacious outdoor seating; it was a lovely warm evening so perfect for sitting outside. We were in and out of there in 30-40 minutes. Service was speedy and the food just as fast. The first thing that came out was the strawberry shake and oh my goodness it was one of the best shakes I've had in a long while. Refreshing and the right thickness. I downed half the glass in one slurp! I got the runaway freight because I love having mushrooms on my burgers. Added some thick bacon and asked for the tomatoes and lettuce to be included. Ended up being a juicy meal! My boyfriend got the outlaw which had the jalapeños. They cook the patties to your liking and burgers come with a side of fries or salad. The fries portion was generous. Some of them were crispy and some could've used more time in the fryer. 2 people, roughly $60. But all cravings met!

Honestly this has to be one of thee WORST dining experiences I've had in a long time. The server…read morewas very standoffish, inattentive and extremely nonchalant. He sat us down pretty quickly which is good but, the restaurant wasn't busy either so of course but, we didn't even get a proper greeting and it was so bad that he didn't even give us his name to let us know who was serving us (standard). The food took a min to come but, no biggie. My biggest issue was the server overall, he kept missing in action and it was clear he didn't want to be there b/c the other diners weren't receiving the best service either and what's so disheartening is the fact that I am in the hospitality industry so I know ppl can have their days so I still always tip something and I still did but not as much as I usually do b/c he was just so bad. I didn't even get the impression that he was having a bad day, I got more of the impression that he just simply didn't wanna be there and our whole dining experience could've been an "email" pretty much. The food was okay but the service was just so so bad that I wanted the food to be excellent to make up for the customer service side of things especially w/ the slightly expensive menu w/ subpar food. I took a sip of a drink that I ordered and didn't like it and I let him know and he literally just stood there for 30sec w/ a blank stare and said "so what do you want me to do?" Like huh.. anyways after he came back to earth he tells me that I can't get a refund and I just said ok, I even apologized for not liking it b/c he made me feel bad for basically not liking it, like I somehow inconvenienced him so I'll just say the best part of the experience was "leaving".
