These guys responded quickly and with the price that was standard for the industry. Even told me timeslots that were available that day. It was fast easy to understand so I booked it with them as they had great reviews on Yelp. The thing that struck me the most in the reviews was the manager's responses to customer, concerns or issues, there was compassion and an effort to make it correct. This I have not seen in a lot of the other Smog place that I usually go to so I switched. -Second, was the courteous way in which I was treated by Cameron, front office manager. This is very rare, but you can tell he cares about his job and their company reputation. I even today received a follow up text to make sure everything was OK with my car. -Third, I was very impressed with their waiting room. Typical car places don't spend a lot of time or money in their waiting area. I took some pictures so you can see small but very well laid out and decorated nicely. Also didn't take pictures of this, but the bathrooms which are out in the shop are clean and decorated nicely. Hats off to the decorating person ! The battery in my car died and my car was in my garage. I called Roseville Mobile Mechanics and…read moretold them that I needed a new battery. They said that they couldn't get to me until that afternoon. I told them I was going to try and find someone that could arrive sooner than that and I'd call them back if I couldn't find a faster alternative. They called me less than 5 minutes later with a "cancellation" and said they could be there in 20 minutes. They said they needed to do a "diagnostic check" first for $250 to determine the issue. I told them that the issue was that I needed a new battery and they said that they needed to decide that themselves and ensure there was no underlying issue. I had already found another mobile mechanic that could come out for $150, so I told them that and they said that they could apply $200 of the $250 to the labor cost should I use them to fix the issue. They showed up 20 minutes later as promised and looked at the battery, said it was 6 years old and needed to be changed. I already knew that!! They did not look at anything else, test anything else or do any diagnostics. The didn't even test the battery. Even though I told them the battery was the issue and they had my car's make, model and year, they didn't bring a battery with them so they had to leave and come back. That took around 45 minutes. He came back with an estimate of $850, with a $200 credit bringing it down to $650. The cost of the battery on the first estimate was $350, so $350 battery +$250 service call - $200 = $400, not $600, so I asked about the $200 credit. Well, guess what, the labor cost for the 7 minutes he spent installing the battery was an additional $200! I also googled the cost of a battery and found it was not more like $250 rather than $350, so he gave me a $50 discount on that and in the end, I paid $600 for a new battery. After thinking about this and talking it over with several friends and family members about this, I feel like I was ripped off by this company and won't go back or recommend them.

Well, this past Saturday my car wouldn't start, so I was told by a very good friend that I take it to TN3 Automotive, which I did (Had my car towed) on Tuesday. I'd previously contacted the owner, Tom, informing him my car was being towed to his shop, and so he took basic information regarding what types of issues I'd been experiencing, which I provided. I met Tom the following day, and he was genial, kind, listened intently, and just a solid individual through & through. He exudes honesty & integrity, and assured me he'd locate the issue, and he did just that. The thoroughness of his Teams assessment of my vehicle, every part captured by clear photos that included a specific narrative of my car parts issue, and whether it was deemed an emergency fix, or just watch & keep an eye on it was noted, & reassuring. Not once did he advise that I needed this or that done to my vehicle, but clearly enunciated in line of priority things I should take care of. Ended up being a PGMFI Main Start Relay why my car wouldn't start. Out the door for $340.00. Car is running excellent!! TIP! General inspection is free and so is tire rotations. But the two aren't "intergal" to each other. So be sure to ask for both general inspection AND tire rotations. Mike at the front desk and their team of technicians were absolutely fantastic - excepetional customer service, in and out the door, straight forward with precisely what was needed, competitive prices and affordable, and no funny business. Acura MDX needed an oil change, general inspection, and likely replacement of the brakes. I do simple tasks on my own, like air filter and cabin filter replacements, so I knew they weren't needed. Walked in to drop off my Acura MDX around 8:45 AM (no reservations or appts needed, just walk in.. Yes!! Just like the good'ol days).
