Food was delicious. I got the classic pepperoni pizza and my bf got the house special. I would compare that to any supreme pizza but made with love. Big fan of the thin crust slices Service was beyond great. Recommend items he thought we would like and we got our food brought out to us. On our way out we asked where we can buy a 6 back of the beer they had on tap and he gave us one of their glass cups so my bf can really enjoy his beer in a proper glass. Mama mia what a wonderful surprise in Newport ! They have a sign that says voted best pizza on the door so we had to try !!! Let's go !! Salad was fresh and delicious. The pizza was one of the best pies I've ever had !!!! So good it makes you laugh. Needed some ranch but that's just me ! The restaurant was clean and the bathrooms were cleaned. I see reviews about a lot of little things that don't affect the quality of this restaurant. And to honest we ordered to take left overs to the hotel and eat it all. So delicious. I just discovered their whole grain crust and I love it! It has the right balance of crispy and chewy with a perfect thickness. Better than Sgt. Pepperoni's. Also their homemade ranch is so awesome I could drink it straight! They have 4 craft beers on tap with even more to choose from in bottles and cans. Nice ambience with a recent renovation throughout. Met my friend here for pizza and he got us a large pineapple and sausage pizza and a pasta salad. I parked on the street right outside, but discovered if you just go down the side street next to it, and turn, there's a little parking garage designated for the businesses on PCH. It's got a parking arm and ticket situation so just keep an eye out cause it's easy to miss since it blends in with the neighborhood. This is the same Gina's from Newport Beach. I liked it, definitely good pizza and I'm a fan of the crust. We ate outside on the patio and I thought that would be nice, but a homeless guy came by and was being creepy then started playing with the shakers left on on the counter with the peppers and cheese, then he started making small talk with us and literally asking us for pizza and leftovers. We gave him our cup of water and he started drinking it in front of us then going off on a rant about something. My only suggestion is get it to-go or eat inside. read more

It's been a hot minute since we've last had Gina's pizza. It used to be our regular place, but we are no longer close to either location. Decided to stop in on Mother's Day of all days to have a takeout order. Placed an order online, which was the right thing to do since when I arrived it was extremely busy. I ordered a small tomato and garlic pizza along with the fettuccine Alfredo. Both were good overall however the Alfredo just lacked any flavor or even salt. The pizza had plenty of garlic and tomato flavor. It just seemed to be missing something overall. This has always been one of our favorites. The pizza crust itself also seemed a lot thicker than I recall. I would definitely try again. It was very busy inside obviously and I gave everyone the benefit the doubt. The male employee working around 6 PM was super nice and really holding it all together. There's an outdoor area as well as an indoor dining area. I like their ricotta bites, pizza, salads, pasta, pasta salad... Their cilantro and ranch dressings are stellar. I like the Godfather pizza and the Bianca pizza. The rasta salad is awesome. Portions are good for the price. You get a chance to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Laguna weather. read more

Wonderful and solid pizza place in Laguna. Since it's on the main part of the street, trying to locate and find parking on the same street can be tough, especially if you're visiting from out of town. Luckily there is a crosswalk nearby and plenty of metered street parking. Just don't be surprised if you might need to park around the corner. The customer service and food really hits the spot! My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of trying Gina's Pizza for the first time yesterday, after years of curiosity! It did not disappoint! From the very kind owner (i assume he was the owner) who was helpful from the moment we came in, to the vibe of the restaurant, to the actual food, it has solidified itself as our new favorite place in Laguna. The crispy ricotta balls were delicious (so were the sauces!), the pizza dough for both sizes was perfect, and I really recommend trying the huge slice! Nice location for eats after a swim at Oak Street Beach. Provided space at 6 pm on a July Thursday for 8-10 ocean swimmers celebrating a birthday. Pleasant and helpful service by Andrew. Off-menu vegetarian pizza was excellent the day after with added salt, pepper, and sesame oil. Reasonable parking options at nearby meters. Pricing made sense considering prime location. Sorry to say probably not great for wheelchair access, or for dining with the dog in tow. Thankfully, not super crowded at 6 pm, though pretty full by 7 pm. read more

This small restaurant advertises itself as a good pizzeria; it's not too bad. Its slices are very large so even if you are hungry and you want to buy pizza by the slice, one or two will fill you up. They make whatever slice you want, you just have to wait about 5-7 minutes. The crust is solid, crunchy, the sauce is not very salty; not the best I have ever had, it's a little better than average in that it is not homemade or doesn't take like it's homemade. The bathrooms aren't super clean, it sort of ruins any positive experience you may have at the restaurant. Something for the management to watch. My first impression of this pizza was "wow, this is one heavy pizza!" Typically this translates to generous toppings and bountiful cheese. That's exactly how it appeared when I opened the first box.(I got two) After a few bites I was perplexed by the overall blandness of the pie. Upon inspection, the cheese was placed atop the other ingredients. This prevented the sizzling of the meats to produce the stronger flavors. The sausage and pepperoni were hardly scant, but the cheese was. It was pretty thin. More bites in and I was thrown by the thickness of the crust. It was dense, thick, and heavy. I enjoy a thin crust pie, and this focacia-thickness pie dough was just too heavy, and didn't allow the other flavors to shine. Perhaps I should have requested a thin crust? I didn't even think about that, but I've never experienced such a dough. Not my cup of tea, but it's no doubt very filling. So, if you want to fill some people up, this might be the place for you. For the leftovers, I scraped the toppings off, discarding the bread, and was left with about two bitefuls, rather nice alone. read more

Pizza was great as always. First time at this location though. Everyone was super friendly and even all said goodbye and thank you when we left. I've been to both the Laguna and other Newport location. They all treat you just as awesome and the pizza is always something to look forward too. Super cool open kitchen layout so you can watch them make the pizzas and everything else. But I will say the only thing I wish was, this location be bigger. I felt like there just wasn't enough space for everyone to have a table since there was only maybe 5-6 tables inside I think it was. There was bar seating for a few more seats but having just a few more tables would be great. With pizza this good I'm sure it stays pretty full. While eating there was definitely a steady flow of customers coming in. So, have someone save a seat while you order if you see an open spot before it's gone. read more

We were greeted immediately by the gentleman at the order counter. He gave us some good advice as far as what to order and explained that everything was made in house. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs and a build your own pizza for one. WOW! That was probably the best pizza I've ever had. I had them mix the pizza sauce with the garlic aïoli, and then topped the rest of the pizza with sausage, black, olives, mushrooms, red onions. It was so delicious. The spaghetti and meatballs my husband had were great! We had enough leftovers for a complete second meal. I don't know why this pizza place only gets 3 1/2 stars. It's terrific! On top of that the driver questioned why we had a coupon. I called the restaurant and asked why the food was cold and why the driver is asking about the coupon. His response was "it's hot it was in a bag" and "my manager wanted to know about the coupon" .... I told him why would you ask about a coupon that is clearly on your own website,,, you just click it when ordering and it took $4 off one pizza.
