The braised eggplant was silky and delicious, and the beef and broccoli was a solid classic done well. The only miss was the hometown scallion pancake. I was expecting a traditional pan-fried version, but it came deep-fried instead. It was still tasty, just not what I had envisioned. One tip: rice is ordered separately, so keep that in mind when placing your order. And definitely ask for the chili oil. It adds a wonderful kick and takes many of the dishes to the next level. Overall, the portions were generous, the food came out hot, and there was plenty to take home. A great option when you're looking for flavorful Chinese food and enough leftovers for the next day.

The server also said the location opened 3 years ago, and the one in Sarasota 7 years ago. "Yummy House is ours, managed by two sisters; King by brothers." The meat in the ramen was fork-tender and full of umami; the ramen was chewy; and it was served with a wide variety of fresh vegetables (zucchin, broccoli, carrot, onions, green onions, corn, microgreens, pickled ginger). The ramen was ~5oz. PS: the noodles are salty -- ramens are meant to be salty. Service was awesome. Several things that my server impressed me: 1. He asked me about my food allergies -- important for seafood-dense restaurants like a Japanese restaurant. 2. I asked for some extra ramen when I just got the entree. He suggested to bring me the extra when I almost finish the ramen in my entree. Surprisingly, he brought a small bowl of ramen exactly when I was about to finish it -- very precise and customer-oriented. 3. Food was served in a reasonable amount of time. 4. When he was taking the order of another table, he gave recommendations to the customers based on their dietary preferences, instead of blindly mentioning the "signature dishes" like most servers do. Moreover, when the customers ordered food, he squat down to listen what they said carefully. So, yes, I speak highly of this restaurant. Definitely recommend it. Upon entering, we realized how snug this place was. We were seated promptly and presented the menu. My wife ordered the Chicken Veggie Shoyu Soy Ginger and I had the Chashu Belly Garlic Noodle. We both liked our dishes, with complex, bold flavors. The Chashu belly was tender with sweetness and soy flavor shining thru. Its flavor profile reminded me of Pad Thai. A very nice find in Naples!
