This place is really good! No frills and limited seating but have been twice and sushi options were excellent. The Dallas roll was excellent but the Salmon Lover Roll was even better! Egg rolls ok but edamame was hot and tasty. Looking forward to trying a poke bowl and hibachi dinner in future trips. Very friendly as well. The sushi is good but nothing too extraordinary and could be rolled a little better, you may have some pieces that fall apart. Ginza is a special place. My sister and brother in law introduced me to Ginza. The food is fantastic and the service is phenomenal. Professional, friendly, fresh, and fast. I usually get the 2 rolls for $8.50 (spicy tuna & Philadelphia roll) and a seaweed salad or the rice entree with steamed rice and chicken/ny strip steak. Everyone is so nice and of course the food is great. The pricing is also super reasonable. Don't hesitate to try Ginza, you will not be disappointed! I LOVE this place, I've been a couple times and every time, the food has been fresh and tasty. I also really appreciate how careful they are being with social distancing. They are not open for dine in, and they have blocked off about 6-8 ft from the front counter for you to order and pay. Everyone wears gloves and masks and you are required to wait in your car after you pay as they will bring out your food. I never write reviews, but decided to write a review after I had their Poke today. I've had poke at other places, but I was a huge fan of Ginza's Poke. For the price, it is a huge portion and very filling. They also give you a decent amount of protein and do not up-charge for seaweed salad, which is a huge plus for me! read more

The sushi was definitely up to par with Kü (my fave sushi restaurant) - the fried rice is definitely lacking in any flavor. The hibachi meat is good, as well. Miso soup was good and seaweed salad was good. Definitely more of a takeout place than a dine-in place, but the food was great. read more

I'm slowly warming up to this idea of sushi as fast food. The premade, lunch-rush sushi (elsewhere) didn't cut it. The first fast food sushi place elsewhere I tried didn't cut the mustard either. The make-up-your-own-combo-because-we're-clueless-about-sushi place was likewise disappointing. The conveyor belt sushi place in San Jose was novel, the one in Dallas was disappointing. Thankfully all those local places are closed now. So with a bit of trepidation and a handful of good reviews I ventured into Ginza Express. By now I know there's not going to be a sushi bar to sit at, no saki, no green tea, and definitely no orange sections for a happy ending. If you can deal with that, get your fountain drink, fast food utensils, & pump your own sauces into little cups, then you can get some pretty good food here for a reasonable price. They have your basic appetizers (miso, seaweed salad, edamame, etc), decent selection of sushi rolls, hibachi prepared meat items, and like bowls. In other words, you can get anything from a snack to a fairly complete meal here. And it was good. The food was fresh. The tuna looked a bit dry though. While I was there about half of customers ate there and half got orders to go. The only fault I experienced was that the sushi rice was not warm. It should be about body temp and it was way cooled off. read more

This is a great concept they have going. It's like fast food hibachi. I only wish they had the real hibachi sauces like the ginger sauce. All the sauces they offer as hibachi sauce taste like sriracha to me. That's my only negative takeaway. Other wise the food is good, the portions are reasonable and the prices are low.
