This plastic was in my sushi

I normally love sushi go, but today there there was plastic on my sushi. This is a one-off situation, as this restaurant is normally great, but this was a huge miss today

I got the sushi bowl for the first time and it made me feel... healthy The combination of the different elements really makes this a whole experience, from the crab to the crunchy texture plus the sauce from the mayo and sauce. They make the food very quickly and the portion was very good.

A great spot to try out when you're craving sushi with no frills. The employees are always polite, and the rolls are affordable and straightforward. I've tried the poke bowl and a few rolls on separate occasions. The poke bowl is a steal for the price and you get a generous serving of fish. The majority of the rolls are California rolls with a variation of fresh fish on top, but my favorite roll is the Dang Roll. They don't skimp when it comes to the slices of sashimi and nigiri either. Give them a shot for a quick sushi fix.

Sushi go is honestly my first choice for sushi because it's cheap, good quality, and quick. I tried this location which isn't my usual but I am pleased! I ordered online and got there a little earlier than the quoted time and ended up having to wait til the quoted time. No problem. They were pretty busy with orders when I got there. The staff were kind and I was still in and out. I got a California roll and a Philadelphia roll and both were delicious. You definitely get bang for your buck here. I've had a weird aversion to sushi salmon lately so I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy the philly roll but it was melt in your mouth delicious! Can't wait to be back :)

First time trying SushiGo we did a pickup order. The plane was empty. Was greeted immediately we entered. Ordered nigiri and salmon roll. Food was good and smelled fresh. I forgot to order some miso soup. We really wanted to try theirs. No frills just decent sushi

Sushi Go has been open for about 8 months and is not far from me. I had seen it several times but never went in because I have my sushi places and I rarely play the restaurant lottery when it comes to Sushi. Today I was craving sushi and my favorite place did not open until 5, so I gave them a try. I was pleasantly surprised! We were greeted warmly by Philip, our Sushi Chef for today. He was a super nice guy and had a great attitude. He guided us through the menu and we settled upon 3 rolls, The Superman Roll, a Cucumber Roll, and the Crunch Roll. They were all amazing! Being that we were the only ones in the place, we had a great opportunity to visit with Philip as he cleaned the sushi making area after he finished our roll. It was a great experience all around!

A diamond in the rough. Super clean and cozy spot. Very affordable and fast. Even though it's affordable they don't cut corners. Everything is prepared right in front of you they it should be. The sushi was fresh and clean tasting. My only knock was it was a little too much sauce on my Angy Wife roll. Just dabbed it off and it was fine.

For $25 I was expecting better presentation, and better quality. I could have gotten better at Tom Thumb. I placed my order at 6:50 and the email stated it would be ready by 7:30. I get to the place around 7:25 and come to find out it had been ready since 7:10. I get home and when I opened the bag I was unimpressed with the wrap, there was barely any meat in it and it had mass amounts of bamboo. The sushi roll had way too much sauce and not even flavorful. I gave them 3 stars because i like the set up and convenient the location is

A little 'hole in the wall' spot in a strip mall - not a place I would have expected to find good sushi! The restaurant is clean, with molded chairs and tables ... like a million other small fast food places. But the sushi is FRESH - made while you watch with a cheerful chef who is willing to talk about the different menu items. I've been twice. First tried the 'sushirito' ... basically a sushi burrito. It was huge and fresh, and while I can see how many people would enjoy it, it really wasn't my style. Still, was good enough I would go again. The second time ... I had a dragon roll and California roll and a bowl of delicious soup ... really hit all my buttons. Definitely on my list of 'go to' places!

Picture of the self service system. Makes ordering very convenient and we were able to take our time looking at the menu

Sushi Go had high quality, fresh fish, and great service. The restaurant was nice and clean, and we had a great time eating there with our son. As someone who eats fish/sushi/poke often, I can be quite picky about fish quality, and I must say I was very impressed with Sushi Go's roll quality and the variety of options on the menu. I highly recommend the Rainbow Roll, the Tuna rolls, the edamame and the gyoza (pot stickers)! All of it was delicious and I we will definitely be returning in the future. There is also a new feature in the restaurant I have only ever experienced while visiting Japan: a self-service ordering system. You pick your items, submit and pay for it- and then they make your food! However there was still a nice gentleman behind the counter to answer our questions and help us out when we needed it.

To dissect the Chicken Teriyaki Bento: the chicken teriyaki had a nice flavor and wasn't dry (which is a pet-peeve of mine), the salad had a nice, citrusy dressing that just opens up your sinuses, and the gyoza was very juicy. A very filling meal, to say the least. The Unagi Don was delectable, with every bite a creamy and umami mix. Then, the "I Love You" roll literally just melted in your mouth. Service: No complaints! We were seated immediately upon walking in, and our orders were taken and food arrived promptly. Virtually no wait on a Friday afternoon. Ambiance: Casual, traditional. Parking: Ample parking. When I pointed out the mistake and asked for them to be replaced, the staff refused to take the incorrect order off my bill. Instead of fixing their own kitchen error, they forced me to pay for both the ruined rolls and the remake effectively charging me double for one meal. Making an order mistake is one thing, but making the customer pay twice to correct your own error is completely unacceptable. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects its customers and stands behind its service.

Tonkotsu ramen tasted good and salty too. The servers were nice. I do think they expect you to know your order already to make a quick turnaround since there were constant ppl waiting at the door. Short wait on a weekday right when the doors open (in 100+ degree summer heat). But I don't think it was amazing and felt hyped up to me. Overall: 4.7/5 [dine in]…read more Our sushi chef was Jayden and he was so nice. He checked in with us throughout the meal to make sure everything tasted good, offered to cut our hand rolls in half so we could share, and even gave us a salmon belly on the house. Black Cod Nigiri ($6): Best bite of the night and it was on the seasonal menu. It was cooked and I'm not sure what they did to it, but it was absolutely phenomenal. Salmon Truffle Ponzu ($18): My second favorite dish of the night. The salmon was super fresh and the truffle ponzu elevated the whole thing. Scallop Foie Gras ($24): Beautiful presentation and good but surprisingly not as flavorful as the salmon truffle ponzu. I was expecting more umami from the foie gras. Salmon Belly Toro Nigiri ($16): Salmon belly with fatty toro topped with ikura. Delicious and melts in your mouth. Toro Wagyu Uni Nigiri ($22): Fatty tuna, A5 wagyu beef, and uni nigiri. My husband thought it was fun to eat, but said he would not order it again. Nodoguro Nigiri ($13): I looked this up, and it's apparently a rare high end deep sea fish from Japan known as the toro of white fish. Based purely on taste though, I thought it was okay and did not compare to the salmon belly. Kanpachi Cherry Blossom ($6.50): A pretty rosy pink color with a subtle cherry blossom flavor. Okay in terms of taste compared to the other fishes we had. Ami Ebi Nigiri ($10): The sweet shrimp was a bit too raw for me. Crab Uni Butter Nigiri ($12): I did not really taste the difference between the uni infused butter and regular butter so I am not sure it is worth the price, though it was still good. Snow Crab Handroll ($7): So much better than imitation crab. Recommend out of all the handrolls we tried. Eel Handroll ($7.50): Not my favorite but my husband said it was one of the best eel he has ever had. Lobster Handroll ($12): Good but nothing special. Volcano Roll ($28): This took the longest to make and was the last item we received even though we saw them start preparing it at the beginning of the meal. The presentation was beautiful and Jayden even sprayed gold on it for our photo and video. It comes with snow crab, avocado, lobster, and bay scallop topped with eel sauce and was really yummy with lots of seafood. The only downside was that the roll underneath broke apart easily which made it hard to eat. Fresh Wasabi Root ($10): We watched them grind the wasabi fresh which was cool to see. It doesn't have a kick to it though so I wouldn't order it again since I like a tiny bit of spiciness. Matcha Mojito ($15): Not for me. It had a bit too much club soda. Yuzu Saketini ($15): I liked this one more than the matcha mojito. The yuzu flavor was prominent and it kind of reminded me of a Lemon Drop.

I want to extend a huge shout-out to our waiter, Vivian, for giving us insight on the food and bars/places to check around in Dallas! She went above and beyond :) Miso soup with silky tofu was delicious, they balanced out the yellow miso well with a hint of (maybe) crate-barrelled? For the nigiri I had the fatty tuna, a5 wagyu, and king salmon. They were all absolutely delicious and warped me to Japan. I was reminded of the same quality and taste - which checks out since they import their fish from Japan! The special kome roll was so delicious I ate it very slowly to savor every bite and memory of sushi in Japan. For dessert I had the deep fried cheesecake - I think the last time I had this I was 12 at Mr. sushi in Boston and all my memories came back. Grapes were too big though but everything else A+ The matcha tonic - I can't find it online but it was an incredible balance of fizzy, sweetness and matcha. The complexity of the drink makes me want to try more!
